(Did I stray too much into Netmums territory there? Just got a bit overexcited!)

possiblemaybebaby · 18/10/2011 21:56

Grin Bartlet

Hope you are feeling a little less pukey

BabySade · 18/10/2011 21:58

Have read back at super fast. Yay Dizzy can't believe I missed you BFP. It's brilliant news. Here have some flowers Thanks

Hope everyone is doing ok.

Biscuitsandtea · 18/10/2011 22:03

Right, who's next?

musicalmrs · 18/10/2011 22:03

YAY Ninja!

Typical, the most exciting night on MN and I was busy working!

BartletForAmerica · 18/10/2011 22:06

maybe, I had noticed you were posting again here and was glad to see you. Will have to read back to catch up on your news. I'm still vomiting but feeling MUCH better with anti-emetics. Only the small matter of my viva now - both what to wear over my increasing bump (my suits are all from slimmer days!) and how not to vomit during it!

NinjaChipmunk · 18/10/2011 22:07

yes, who is next??

BabySade · 18/10/2011 22:08

Me please!!!! Wink

BabySade · 18/10/2011 22:09

I haven't even been able to DTD around ovulation due to DH sperm test so it would be the most impressive BFP ever!

BabySade · 18/10/2011 22:10

Maybe not as impressive as Bartlet's shingles BFP Smile

NinjaChipmunk · 18/10/2011 22:10

Grin we are about due for an immaculate conception aren't we?

BabySade · 18/10/2011 22:13

I'll see what I can do Ninja, I don't think immaculate conception is an impossible feat for this magical thread

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 18/10/2011 22:48

Awww I was just looking back on the second ever Brooking No Argument thread, which is when I joined, to reminisce about when I "met" Ninja. You so completely and absolutely deserve your BFP!!! It's great looking back on all the names from that old thread and seeing just how many of us are over on the PSEPP thread now! This really is a magic thread!

By the way, has anyone seen Generic around recently? She's been a bit quiet since the end of last week I think? Hope everything's ok, have I just forgotten a hol or something?

NinjaChipmunk · 18/10/2011 22:58

I think she is on holiday? Am sure she mentioned renting a cottage in yorkshire or some such?

I think I joined on the second thread too thanks to have when she was on here.
Right am. Off to bed and taking my peestick with me! Nighty night all

ScrambledSmegs · 18/10/2011 23:22

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!

Congratulations Ninja! You showed that rat who's boss!!! Now, have you calculated your due date yet? Wink

Grin

Ooh, and great news farfalla. Just the results we've been brooking for!

Can't believe I missed all the excitement, was cooking an epic chickpea masala and cleaning like a dervish. Nesting come early Hmm ? Into the 2ww now. Yawn...

shinyblackgrape · 18/10/2011 23:56

My period is due a week on Sunday but I see you can test super early with First Response........... Should I wait though?

DizzyKipper · 19/10/2011 06:26

Chances of getting a BFP when you test super early with FR is only around 50% shiny, they get more accurate the later on you leave it to test (this is because it's giving the hcg more time to build up so it's easier to be detected). Considering what I'm like I can't tell you not to test early, but I would advise you to leave it as close to AF's due date as possible.

Congratulations Ninja still! Grin

I should be able to catch up with every one else later this afternoon when I get to finish from work a bit earlier.

Biscuitsandtea · 19/10/2011 06:33

Yes Shiny - agree with Dizzy.

When FR says it can detect pg up to 6 days before AF due I think they should really say it might! You get more false negatives the earlier you test.

Not that that stops anyone testing early Smile

I would say though that even the fr are still quite expensive - of you think you'll be am early tester might be better to get some Internet cheapies off amazon - they are often surprisingly sensitive (although still give false negatives if used early).

farfallarocks · 19/10/2011 09:05

OMG I cannot BELIEVE I missed all this last night going out in real live, pah

ninja that is such fab news and the magic fanny cam/HSG combo does it again, yay! And all that parping was for a good cause, hooray!

shiny I would defintiely wait until you are at least 12 DPO because you won;t believe a negative anyway!

baby and loopy , you 2 next ok?

Although I do have a fannycam on Friday so who knows Grin

Solars · 19/10/2011 09:40

Just wanted to say Congratulations again to you Ninja and what a great build up to your BFP, i'm so glad DH was late from work last night, otherwise I would have missed it all!!

Shiny it would be advisable to wait if you can to avoid those false negatives as everyone else has said!

Good luck for friday Farfalla

PopcornMouse · 19/10/2011 09:40

4 pages since 5.30 yesterday?! Gosh?

OMG NINJA! Congratulations! I am seriously welling up? 19 months? Wow, double congratulations, you deserve it

DrMunkenstein · 19/10/2011 09:41

I am loving this thread!

Good luck with your appointment on Friday Farfalla

PopcornMouse · 19/10/2011 09:42

Shiny that's 11 days yet (so you must be 3DPOish?) I agree with Dizzy - hold fire another week imho :)
