There have been several gifts in our past acquired from a garage or 24 hour Tesco!

He's also pulled out some amazing gifts on occasion in his defence, so perhaps he averages out at overall normal gifts?

My DH is driving so can't use the trains as an excuse

My OH isn't home yet either but he doesn't get back until about 8pm on good days anyway so I don't know if he's out at Man's Club with your lot this evening.

Nothing car related (fortunately for him!) - Think I've had flowers from a garage and several 'book-chocolate-flower' combos from 24 hour supermarkets.

But then he knocks me off guard with once a Tiffany's necklace, or a meal at Claridges.

I reckon he gets his secretary to help with those ones . She likes me :)
