4ever no where near as advanaced on the shopping as you. As BB is a nursery girl, she has never seen ITNG i know. But has seen Roar and a number of bnig kids programmes. She was settling in tonite with the older two to watch their Friday film . I too am lookign forward to the 2nd

4ever the routine sounds lovely - at that time of night, BB is normally having a very long bath whilst older dc's have tea/ do homework and so sadly, no room for intg. But it will happen at some time - maybe Christmas - great when you've had a few drinks

We finished Summers last christmas shopping today too, hurrah! Made up for trawling her round toys r us by taking her to her first ever softplay experience afterwards! Tooooooo cute for words, she absolutely loved it!

Just to let you all know that DD arrived a couple of days ago weighing a very healthy 9lb 4oz!! We are both doing really well, she is beautiful and DS is enjoying being the big brother! Will be back with more details soon, but didn't want to leave you all wondering! We are all just so pleased and can't stop looking at her

I don't really feel part of all this Christmas talk sad tis was the same the year before last when we stayed in the sandpit...with the weather a balmy 27 degrees and perfect beach weather it feels as far removed from Christmas as it possibly could. We haven't even bought a thing! We have decided to treat our families when they come out in feb, although I might convince dh to send a few little gifts on line.
We are going out with friends to a hotel for Christmas lunch and having a BBQ on boxing day....still long for cozy nights in new pj's watching re runs of old films while scoffing a whole Terry's chocolate orange.

bakingqueen sorry to hear of problems with the other halve, I'm sure we have all been there, having a grumpy, teething baby doesn't help matters either. Hope you are both ok now, we are here to listen if you need to off load.

I am sat nursing a bruised and twisted knee. I feel over just now and in order to not land on bump I turned and feel over the dogs bed...feeling sorry for myself as dh is at grand prix and I have nobody to look after me and to fetch me chocolate

Feel at the comments about my super organisedness over Christmas! Its just excitement really! Me and DH are big kids! Mind you do have loads to buy for so helps to start early - staggers the huge cost! Also leaves December free to just focus on decorations, gatherings and the food shops!

Sounds silly to say this but really hoping i don't get a bfp in the next wk or so as would make me 9wks at christmas, my danger period and i just want to be stress free and do as little as poss at 8-9wks next time around.. (also looking forward to a good drink and lots of get togethers!) Equally, if I'm hopefully not pregnant by then, my next Af is due christmas wk and as we've decided to go ahead with treatment again it would be a nightmare to sort over the holidays... So now I'm worrying I've got symptoms and hoping I'm imagining them a new yr bfp would be perfect, hope santa is reading this

4ever it's only jealousy, hun. I would love to have had that much done. Was at a christmas shopping night on Friday at school and did get a few presents then and should have got a few more but I was trying to sell some books!

Got to go - horrible cold and a paerwork mountain to clear...

4ever if it makes you feel any better I've done most of my shopping too . And I've wrapped and delivered it but only because my family is so far away, I dropped it all off when we visited in the October hols.

Honestly I blame this thread for getting me excited about Christmas waaaay too early. I actually looked at my phone this morning and thought 'ohhhh, only November 14th??' haha! saddo!

barbie you can so join in the festivities..you should make chocolate bark it is soooo yummy. We made dark choc with cranberries, pistachios & raisins yest lbm v v tasty! Does yours go solid enough to snap when broken though? Ours set quite soft so we're thinking of getting a sugar/chocolate thermometer to melt it at optimum temp.. haha, dedication!!

My knee hurts in fact I think I must of twisted to avoid landing on my front and my whole body feels like it has been sat on by an elephant!!!

Currently sat with legs up as dolly is down for the night and dh is away to football

Also understand your reluctance at a bfp around Christmas, I'm with cupcake, a feb bfp has been ordered for you.

We have just decorated dollies big girl bedroom, it's soooooo pretty, will try to get some pictures posted. Very sad too, the nursery has gone and my baby is growing up! Dh has the week off work so tomorrow when d is in nursery we are going to the beach very excited to be able to lie in the sun for a full 3 hours without having to leg it across the beach after a baby.

How did she get on barbie? We're thinking of putting ds in a big bed in the new yr, or certainly before baby comes. Im nervous though that it'll mess up his sleep..

Well hello...
Went to bed like a dream, a few giggles that she could make tents with duvet cover and play peek a boo with the bed rail but other than that was like a normal night.....

Until 10pm when she woke and was freaking out, not sure if it was the bed, the newly decorated room or if it was just one of 'those' nights

Ended up sleeping in the mattress that we had placed on the floor next to the bed in case she fell out. Not sure it it's because I was aware of her but boy does she wiggle loads in the night. She didn't try to get out once, and even asked if it was ok to get down at 6.20am this morning. So it wasnt too bad. I think the challenge will come when she realises she can in fact get out herself.

Baby 2 will be with us in 11-12 weeks so we have that long to get her settled before he arrives. I'm sure it will be fine...I'd rather give her all my time now then trying to do it after.

Just had my glucose test, feeling rotten. Sickly and headachy. Had to wait 2 hours and have three rounds of blood. Dh has taken dolly for the day, he just called and said they were in Starbucks having lunch and they went to the toy shop which cost us yet another doll...then they were off shoe shopping!!!!

She has nursery this afternoon so dh and I are lazing by the pool, where I'm going to write my Christmas card list!

Barbie Fingers crossed it was "just one of those nights" last night and that Dolly settles much easier tonight, it seems such a big move towards them becoming more independant little people but it is a good thing in the long run and like you say you'll have plenty of time to settle her in before Ralphie arrives! Very that you are sitting by the pool writing christmas lists whilst we shiver under our slankets see there are good points about being in the sandpit for Christmas!

Not much to report from the household of Buddha we've been having some problems with DH's work which I can't go into so it's something else to add to all the usual stresses of life! Looking forward to E's birthday next week although haven't planned what we are going to do yet
All birthday/christmas presents bought for E now just got to start with everyone else, hoping to start doing the printing of wrapping paper courtesy of lbm's crafty suggestions this weekend.
