Wow, GTR, with cycles as long as yours, you really have to have commitment to the cause! I think if anyone deserves a BFP for pure grit, determination and hard work, it's you and your DH!
Well, I can firstly report that Viagra does work very well!
.
DH put the private prescription in yesterday and it cost £25 for 4 tablets!!! That's over 6 quid a shag!!
And we're wasting it at the moment really - but DH was in need last night - it's been a while!
The consultant at the hospital was very helpful. As I said, DH is on this cocktail of drugs, and it's not just the impotence; they make him tired, achy and a bit depressed frankly (though, as the consultant wisely said, we can't underestimate the effect of major heart surgery 4 months ago!!).
She gave him some bald statistics to mull over. On the drugs, he has over 80% chance of making it to his 60th birthday. Without them, that drops to 40%. It's a no-brainer really isn't it? He's 44 now; and we want him to see any child we do have grow up!
Anyway, the consultant was perfectly happy to do the referral for Viagra on the NHS. She has written to his GP to confirm her consent, so that's a weight off frankly!!
Hope everyone's having a lovely sunny weekend. It's gorgeous here! Hmm wine and cheese in front of crap telly sounds bliss to me Loulou! Berries I don't seem to get on with OPKS either. Last month they just confused matters frankly! I'm sticking to the good old fashioned temping and fanny batter method this month!!
