Blimey GTR you do know your stuff! Can you really not do anything before taking your temp in the morning? I started doing it this morning, but went into the bathroom, to avoid DH knowing what I was doing and therefore thinking I am totally cracked. Clearly I am but was hoping he did not need to know that!

Ha ha Kitchen yeah you can't move - I barely roll over to take mine and I hide it under the pillow because it beeps so loud!!! Like you, my DH thinks I'm mental with all the things I'm doing!! He doesn't know about checking CM/CP yet thankfully!!

But yes, to get an accurate temp you have to stay in bed!!! :)

Damn it! Will just have to do it and hope he doesn't notice! Had a very wierd moment with DS over dinner. We were discussing what type of food we liked, and he suddenly piped up with "We won't have a baby from you will we mummy, cos I like baby's now" We have not discussed TTC in his hearing, or with him at all, no idea where that could have come from!

Hello all. Just hopped off the June bus and keen to get buckled in here. AF turned up today so it's a new cycle for me but my body is still settling down after having Mirena coil removed in July so no idea how long this new cycle is going to be. Will prob try regular SWI starting next Thursday-ish. See how we go.

I get winter blues so can't decide whether this will be my last attempt before staying off all buses til next May, as having a newborn just before autumn would send me nutty. But I'm already 39 so don't really want to wait. Still, I won't look too far ahead and stay positive.

I couldn't wait until next Friday for my blood results and tested again today as I was so tired yesterday and felt a tiny bit sick and got a BFP on the same boots test that gave me a negative a week ago and a BFP on a clearblue which also gave me a BFN. I'm just hoping the blood results say the same thing!

I just wondered how much of a shift I am looking out for? Mine is usually about 36.1 so am I looking for just a fraction of a degree or a substantial amount? thanks for your expertise...

cherry i did go on the bike ride, was in bed by 8:30 last night, was hoping that it was more to do with potential womb action, but i don't think I can blame it on that, considering i had cycled over 20 miles!! Damn!!!

blonde with regards to temp shifts are you talking about ov signs or the triphasic phase? For ov usually there is a dip in temperature on the day you ov and your temperature needs to rise by 0.4℃ and be consistent over 3 temps (for example, if your dip is 36.23℃, then the following 3 temps need to be higher than this, with the third one being at least 0.4℃ higher than the dip!) don't worry if you don't see 3 rises consecutively because if you are using FF then as soon as you get that rise FF will pinpoint ov for you and introduce the cover line to your graph. For the triphasic phase, I don't believe that the shift has to be so scientific, but basically your temps will go higher than any others before (again, an example of that is what seems to have happened to me this morning - on Friday my temp was 36.28℃, yesterday it shot up to 36.38℃ and this morning it is even higher at 36.43℃!!). I am not saying that my chart is triphasic yet though, i think there needs to be more than 2 very high temps to determine that and tbh i don't want to get my hopes up!!

Well, i decided to POAS this morning and I am utterly confused, I thought 12dpo would give me some answers. Basically, there is definitely something there, it is pink, but it's not so much a line but a kind of pink smudge - this was done with FMU (i will try and post a picture once i have figured out how because i really need some help with this ) I then decided to take another test shortly after this with whatever was left in my bladder (I'll be honest, there was not much U, but I tried my best) this line is very very thin, there is not much colour to it so treating this as an evap and BFN. I had also POAOS just to see whats happening, and that seems to be positive(ish) - i just don't know what to think!!!

Hmm GTR that sounds positive!!

Still muchly confused! POAS maybe an hour after the first ones and there seemed to be something there, the same width and colour as the control line! But just not dark enough for me to be even 50% sure!!! Have a CBD but don't want to waste it on a BFN! So then I thought, what the heck I'll POAS again (obsessed? Just a bit) and that was def BFN so don't know what to think!!!

Thanks mushroom not getting my hopes up as I feel that the hag whore's appearance is imminent as cramping and have had plenty of BFNs and a few false positives in the past!! Will test again with FMU tomorrow and see what happens!!
