maisie I will wait at the back of the plane with you I am not due AF untill 16th nov.

GTR sorry it was a BFN hope you get some answers from the docs soon.

FESTIE I am asthmatic and both my ds its rubbish and the winter months are always worse so i know what you are dealing with at the moment and it is horrible watching them.

Since coming off the pill i have noticed the bottom of my back is hurting most of the day does anybody else have anything like this.

GTR2882 · 19/10/2011 22:08

cherry I too have noticed severe back pain, although I came off the pill 15 months ago (having said that cycles still aren't right so maybe it is a cause of that!!) hoping though that those in the 2ww with lower back pain have it because there is a sticky bean!!!?[hsmile]

BoogiesBunny · 19/10/2011 23:18

cherry I had to quickly jump on because your question about back pain has made me realise that my lower back ache started at the time I came off the pill - but that was back in February! I wonder if the two could me linked? A quick google search was very unhelpful. I have a constant ache on my lower left side - what is yours like and how long have you had it?

Now I have rudely interupted - I wonder if I can join you all? We are desperately trying for our first: 28 TTC 1 AF due c.29th October. We've been trying since coming off the pill in Feb. An interesting fact is that if we are blessed this month I will be 38 weeks pregnant at my sister's wedding in June - the sole, extremely pregnant (and rather ungainly) bridesmaid!

I will read through your previous posts to catch up as much as I can!

oggy24 · 20/10/2011 07:42

Welcome Boogie. Fx for good news for you this month!

I'm feeling VERY despondant this morning. CBFM has now said (after 7 days of high readings) that I am at peak/ov today. CD21 of a 23 day cycle. [hsad] I know I shouldn't take it as gospel and should give it a couple of months to get to know my cycle, but i just knew there was something up! Is this something that losing weight may help to sort? I'm clutching at straws, I know!

festiemum · 20/10/2011 08:02

Welcome Boogie. Sorry you're feeling despondent, oggy; maybe you ov-ed late, and your cycle will be longer this month? Cycle lengths can vary, it's the LP that stays the same.

I am utterly confused and generally pissed off. After my weird month of temps that don't make sense, AF has shown up 2 days early! Putting all the data in my chart; FF has decided I ov-ed on day 22 - which would give me a 5 day LP!!! My LP is always 12 days! Thinking maybe another anovulatory after the Chem? God knows what's going on! As normal I'd convinced myself I was exhausted, smelling strange smells etc etc, so am naturally gutted!

nearlymumofone · 20/10/2011 08:14

Morning all.

oggy I am starting using my CBFM next cycle, I have a feeling that I will have a similar problem (if I'm ov'ing at all). I don't have any advice to give you, but my plan will be to go to GP straight away, as I don't want to waste time. As you say CBFM isn't gospel though and it may take a few cycles to get it settled. Maybe phone their helpline to discuss?

festie I'm afraid I can't offer any advice, but I'm sure GTR will be along, she seems to know lots about LP and missed periods etc

louloubellamozzarella · 20/10/2011 08:50

Morning all

Well no need to bother with POAS, AF arrived early this morning [hangry] booohisss!

Oh well it means my cycles are settling down - last month 26 days, this month 27 so I know a bit more what to expect for the next one.

Right, off to get some work done then will be shopping around for a CB monitor later - let me know if you've seen any good deals anyone! :)

p.s. festie hope your little one's feeling a bit better today. Oh and I feel your pain re AF's arrival - early as well to add insult to injury, bah.

Bluetinkerbell · 20/10/2011 08:53

right need some advice! I'm on CD34, according to Fertility Friend 10DPO. Last night during dtd I got really dry... so we had to stop as it was getting very painful... please tell me this is a good sign? Wink
didn't take temperature this morning, as DD woke up at 5am and been in bed with us since then, so temp would have been higher than normal.
Temperatures are staying up though...

GTR2882 · 20/10/2011 09:22

Festie and LouLou damn that hag whore ruining our flight!!! [hangry]

Festie it could be that your body is just trying to regulate again after the chemical, all those hormones trying to settle back down again! There is no way you have a 5 day LP if it's normally 12 - FF can F off!!! I don't think it can accurately pinpoint ov if cycles and temps are all over the place - it told me that i had ov'd on CD18 or something ridiculous and here I am on CD69 and still no pg or AF!! I know it's not easy, but it might take a couple of cycles for your body to sort itself out. I have every confidence that this cycle will be the one.............for us all [hgrin]

Blue - hmmm that is interesting indeed. Has anything like that happened before?? I have heard rumour that painful SWOI can indeed be a sign, but i do not want to get your hopes up, especially as every woman is different, 10dpo might still be a little early for symptoms and sometimes no symptoms are the most reliable!! Fx'd that this is a good sign for you [hsmile]

louloubellamozzarella · 20/10/2011 09:35

P.s. on the bright side, my dates mean that if I'm luck this cycle I'd still be due in July Grin

GTR glad to hear that you've enjoying your SWI [hwink]

I definitely think that this cycle could be the one. Just need to make sure I keep the SWI going this time. There'll be no weekends away getting in the way this time!! Hand me an energy drink, I'm ready to go!

festiemum · 20/10/2011 09:46

Cheers guys! Yes LO had a restful night and although still wheezy seems better today thanks Loulou. I too am still on this flight! Hurrah!

GTR - I'm thinking that my body is just settling down. My temps were all over the place this month and I had nearly a week of ewcm! Shock Think I read somewhere that it can take a couple of months for your body to settle down after a miscarriage - regardless of how early it was.

Want to be totally committed to SWI this month! Though the NHS aren't helping - they prescribed DH a measly 4 tablets!!! I know it's mostly men of a certain age who are prescribed this particular drug, but really??!! 4 times a month? Is that all we're allowed?! DH is going to put another 'script request in next week, and keep doing it till they get the message!! :o There's no way I want to be rationing SWI this month!! Wink

Ooh Blue don't know about dryness being a good sign - you never know! It seems like most things can happen when it comes to those pesky hormones!

Just debating whether to get myself another thermometer. The one I've got was very cheap, and it's done a lot of flatlining. Thinking about spending a bit more. Any recommendations?

Hope everyone's having a good day. I am not going to let AF piss me off too much! I AM NOT!!! :o

GTR2882 · 20/10/2011 09:58

Festie i bought another one from Babymad on Amazon, was £4.99 (not sure if that is more expensive than the one you got, but this one seems to be working quite well!!). That really sucks with regards to you LBPs - damn the NHS!! They are aware that you are TTC, right!?! It's ridiculous!! Men of a ahem certain age, in my opinion, should not be having all that much SWOI anyway [hblush]

festiemum · 20/10/2011 10:11

Well that's just it, isn't it? Because he's in his 40's, they assume he's only doing it on a Sunday night after Antiques Roadshow! I'm sorry, but SWI or no SWI, we have a healthy sex life!! Blush

I don't think he has told them we're TTC - I don't know why. Think he's indignant enough that he should be getting enough pills to have lots of sex if he wants to regardless!

My thermometer is a babymad one - and I think it cost about that much. Not sure whether it is duff, or it's just my temps were duff. Could just get another similarly priced one off Amazon and see how I get on with that. :)

cherrypiew3 · 20/10/2011 10:12

Morning Ladies

FESTIE and LOULOU sorry AF showed up.

BOOGIE came off the pill almost 2 weeks ago so not long really but i noticed the pain pretty much straight away its at the bottom of my back in the middle and its there all day.

needinstructions · 20/10/2011 10:13

Morning everyone - quite a lot of activity since I last logged on! Sorry about the BFN GTR, you must be really fed up with all this uncertainty Sad, glad to hear your LO had a good night festiemum, sorry to hear about AF loulou but nice that you're still on the July plane!

nearly, I feel like I'm stalking you a bit, sorry but we do seem to be scarily in synch this month. I also had cramping and a bit of backache over the last day or so (gone now) so spent half of yesterday googling "implantation cramping". It seems a little early to be that, but I don't know when I ov'd and it seems that implantation can take anything from 3-12 days so who knows. Terribly optimistic SS but at least it passes the time Wink. I'm also having a disastrous time at work, so need something to look forward to...

blonderedhead · 20/10/2011 10:42

Sorry to hear about AFs and BFNs. I am due on about now, nothing yet but think tis v unlikely that I am pg this month.

Have been following this thread but haven't contributed for a while as feel totally confused and baffled by it all. Temps all over the place, no ewcm, also sporadic swi due to stress of sick dog (who was sadly pts on Saturday).

Had drs appt this morning as had previously had a low thyroid result and wanted to ask if i could get repeat. Doc was unexpectedly helpful and has booked me in for day 23 tests next month. So will get tested for thyroid and diabetes as well as progesterone etc. just have to wait for AF this month to confirm date as cycles have varied between 29-35 days.

Bit scary to be taken seriously but good as well. Hopefully it will either put my mind at rest that things are working as they should be or else get the ball rolling if they aren't.

GTR2882 · 20/10/2011 11:09

Oh Blonde so sorry to hear about your dog [hsad] hope you are doing ok!! But good news on the doctor front, i hope you get the answers that you need [hgrin]

nearlymumofone · 20/10/2011 11:28

Blonde sorry to hear about your dog, that's crappy.

need stalk away!! Wink it's nice to have someone in the same boat!! My back cramps have gone, AF cramps have gone and now nothing. But my Af cramps have a habit of coming and going from about mid-cyle till she actually arrives, same for me not really a symptom of anything other than... well Af really!!

Come on guys one of us has to get pg this month??!!!!! really. The odds alone means we've gotta have at least one or two BFPs surely (as I type this I imagine GTR doing her calculations to work out how many of us should get BFPs this mopnth!! [hgrin]

GTR2882 · 20/10/2011 11:34

Ha ha @ Nearly i might have to do that later!! Will correlate all your stats and symptoms and see what i can come up with [hgrin]

louloubellamozzarella · 20/10/2011 11:50

Hehe yes GTR work your magic!! I can't believe we've not had a BFP recently either. Surely we cannot be that unlucky?!

nearlymumofone · 20/10/2011 11:55

yeah it seems kinda strange that we only have one very early on (I am right right aren't I? there hasn't been any others?). Mind I there's a few who's AFs are imminent, so hopefully they'll hold off for the next 9 months or so!

Notinmykitchen · 20/10/2011 11:55

Hi, may I rejoin this flight? I've been asleep sulking up the back or something for a couple of weeks after joining it at the beginning, got a bit hacked off with the whole TTC thing and was trying to forget about it as much as possible. Didn't do a very good job of it admittedly! Feeling a bit more positive about the whole thing now. I think I ovulated at the weekend, so about 4 DPO now. For once we DTD several times at the right time due to my very lovely MIL having DS for the weekend so DH and I were on our own and not working for a change! I know I am weird but I actually quite like the 2WW, its that one time of the cycle when you can consider yourself pregnant until proven otherwise. I sometimes think that is as close as I'm going to get so I am determined to enjoy it!

GTR, what on earth is your body up to, I think you need to give it a stern talking to. Fingers crossed that either the docs can shed some light, or things sort themselves out before then and you get that BFP!

Blonde, very sorry to hear about your dog. I have a very old dog (14) and I am dreading it when her time finally comes!

Festie, 4 pills seems like a ridiculously small number, do they really expect them to last a month? Madness!

This flight seems to me to be well overdue for some more BFP's now, fingers crossed for all!

nearlymumofone · 20/10/2011 12:02

welcome back notinmy. I know what you mean about the 2ww can be enjoyable as you can allow yourself to belive you could be pg. I go through moments of that and then moments of just wanting AF to come so I know for sure and can start afresh with a new cycle. Maybe you'll be our lucky winner this month??!

blonderedhead · 20/10/2011 12:46

Thanks ladies for your nice words. It's been a horrible week, really wished I had managed to get pg by now so at least we would have something to feel positive about for the future. At the moment all feels a bit bloody rubbish.

It does seem odd there haven't been any more bfps, unless people who have had them have stayed away because they didn't want to be insensitive to those who haven't. If there are any lurkers, please tell us your good news and give us some hope it is still possible for sperms to meet eggs!

Either that or we aimed to high with the plane... Maybe next month should be more of a hot air balloon.

blonderedhead · 20/10/2011 12:47
