nearly its horrible we get all these symptoms and never know whats going on. I dont want to get your hopes but the week before Af was due i had terrible cramping in my back and stomach it was so bad that i had to leave a trolly full of shopping in tesco and go home the following week AF never showed and i was pg. Dont give up just yet you never know.

cherry thank you. I have kinda given up hope, but also can't help wanting to believe that the back ache is some really unusual symptom of pregnancy. It's difficult isn't it? Cos in some ways you don't want to get your hopes up, in other ways it's kinda enjoyable to believe you could be even for a week until AF arrives!!!

Opks suggest I haven't ov'd and no EWCM, not much Cm at all infact, so when I think rationally about it, I'd put money on the fact i'm not.

Because GP had said it was very unlikely I could get pregnant when I got pg with DS I didn't pay any attention to any symptoms or anything so I can't remember what my symptoms were, other than I'm pretty sure it felt like af was on her way as I didn't even test until nearly a week after she was due.

Evening ladies!! I'll be honest here, I have pissed in a cup 4 times tonight and not dipped a stick in any of them!! WTF!?!? I examined the contents carefully and decided that my pee was far too weak!! Damn me!!! Damn me to hell!! I'm gonna do it in the morning!! I promise!!! [hgrin]

Well I finally did crack this morning!! AF still MIA and 10 days late, CD 68 but BFN so time to get those blood tests and find out what my poor excuse for a body is playing at!!! Very frustrated and fed up now!!

Ah nearly I can't even get cracking on next cycle as I have no idea when that will be! I could handle seeing BFNs if my body was behaving itself but with no AF I can only assume I am not ov'ing which makes TTC a little tricky!! So hopefully the doctor can shed some light on it all!! I'm actually wondering if I have actually missed 2 cycles that are normally 29 days long; if that were the case technically I would be gearing up to ov pretty soon so might have to SWI - you never know [hwink]

Well, despite not knowing if and when I ov-ed, SS seems to have hit fever pitch. Still, AF should be due on Sat, so I can test then.

Have come to the conclusion that my shit thermometer is just that. Despite going for noo noo temping over the last week, my temps have shot down the last two mornings. It's supposed to beep 4 times when it hits a stable temp too, but half the time it doesn't, even if I leave it in for ages! Even though it's confusing matters greatly, I can't seem to get out of the habit of doing it every morning - please, tell me to stop!!

Good news though, DH had a call from the GP and as he put it can "have cock pills for free"!!! So next month should be much easier! :)

Oh feckity feck GTR - get thee back to the doctor's. At least they can test you to see what the hell is going on!! Make sure you ham it up and get every check that's going [hsmile]

Good news on the pill front festie!!

No news for me - again.... Tested early this morning (probably way too early - is 2am too early?!) as woke up busting for a pee then realised if I did it'd muck up my FMU plans. So I POAS not realising it was quiiite so early [hblush] That was a BFN, but I was half asleep so only waited for a minute before going back to bed. Pointless! Will try again tomorrow morning.

No sign of AF arriving but my dates are very loose based on last month's wierd cycle with all that wierd spotting which I've never had before.

Unfortunately I have lots of work to get through this morning so I best get cracking so I can mess around on here later

Ah thanks ladies!! festie that made me guffaw at my desk!!! Have called the docs and the earliest i can get in for the tests is 10th November, but I have a good feeling about oving this weekend so gonna get some more SWI in [hgrin] The doctor has already given me the blood test and he is testing for a lot of things (not sure what all the codes mean though!!)

Great news on the pills festie and loulou yes, 2am may have been a bit early!! What dpo are you?? No symptoms are sometimes good things and i am crossing everything that you get that shiny BFP this month (please don't leave us though if you do - what would i do? [hgrin]

I too have a lot to do today, so best get on with it while the mind is still willing!!

TBH GTR I'm really not sure how many DPO I am. It could be anywhere between 15-10 [hconfused]- it's been really confusing this month annoyingly as I thought it'd be clearer.

I think I might get a CB monitor next month if BFN as I can't be arsed with all this temping etc (lazy moi?!) People sell them on second hand so I'm thinking I can always ebay it to get most of the money back on it even if they are expensive.

loullou I have ordered a CBFM should be here tmr, in time to start using it next week when AF arrives. Will let you now how I fair with it. For me I just want to know if i'm ov'ing and when in my cycle so that I an feel a bit more confident with it all.

Cd20 for me and still have af/back pains. Anyone know the af pains you get in early pregnancy are they just the same as regular af pains? and when do they start? I wish I could remember from last time I was pg, I know I had them but didn't pay much attention to them as assumed I certainly wasn't pg that month!

Yes nearly, I seem to remember they are pretty much like af pains. That's the trouble isn't it? Most symptoms are almost identical to af symptoms! As it's quite early for you for af pains, could it be uterine stretches?! Oh I am a SS enabler! Sorry!! :o

ha! festie just worked out what ss means now!! yes, I'm dreadful. I KNOW i'm not pg but then i can't help but wonder if these AF symptoms are pg symptoms (even though I have them every month before af and I'm not pg every month!!)

Well I've had a stressy bloody day. My 2yo dd has had a shitty cold which has gone to her chest. Her breathing was so laboured I ended up in the doc's this afternoon. She had to go on a nebuliser and we came home with steroids and inhalers and spacers.... I am a bit asthmatic, but thought the kids had escaped it so far... Poor little bugger, she's crashed out on the couch next to me, her breathing is still shallow, but it seems to be regular and she's resting now.
Bloody terrifying though, and she's not impressed with the steroids!

Totally forgot about SS today, so every cloud and all that! :o
