AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH just written a massive post and it disappeared [hsad] - the upshot was that my temp dropped further this morning, the lowest it has ever been but STILL no sign of the hag whore!! I also have the brightest yellow pee i have ever seen (although it could just be the lights in the toilet here!!) - the only time it's been this yellow was when i was taking the Pregnacare tablets which contained B12, i have finished all of these a while ago and am only taking straight folic acid now!!

Have not managed to read through all the posts but hope everyone is fairing well and coping in the 2ww with SSing!!! [hgrin]

Hello everyone! After a cold made my ovulation on CD 22 go haywire, it appears I finally ovulated on CD 39. Thankfully I had horrendous mittelschmerz so I did actually get some sex in (after having given up and expecting my period to arrive). Now 5dpo on my fourth cycle of trying. This long cycle business is a pain in the backside, isn't it GTTR?

Anyway, so I'm now transferring my bags from the June bus to the July plane and hoping this time that my temperature stays up! My nipples are getting less sore though so I hope that isn't a bad sign for me...

Nearly - I can't be bothered with OPKs any more. I've got about 6 left out of a pack of 40 and what with all that not drinking and holding in your wee, only to get one actual positive in 4 cycles means I'm giving them up.

Disco I've just bought the CBFM to start when AF arrives. I'm hoping that'll be better.

I feel for you with the long cycles, it's hard enough with an average cycle.

Feste good to hear that you still get pg despite no positive opk. Gives me hope! Having said that I have bad AF pains today cd18, feels like i am about to bleed imminently. Don't know what's with that.

Just a quick question. I seem to get Af pains from about 10 days before it comes. Is that normal? I can't remember what is 'normal' as before DS I had serious pain and problems with cyst and endo and can't remember what is normal!!

Cherry resisting the urge to POAS very well despite having one in the bathroom!! The fact ive been crampy for the last few days though does not bode well!!!

Just in from work so gonna hit the hay early!!!! Need a good nights sleep to see how the temps fair in the morning [hgrin]

Temps down even lower this morning!! [hshock] not entirely sure what my body is playing at!! Still no sign of AF!! Even had a dream last night that I took a pill to bring AF on!!! Yet nothing in RL!!! (it worked in dreamland though!!)

I had such long vivid dreams last night of having a million BFP's! I wish!

This is my first month using my CBFM - It is confusing me as I have had 'high' readings for the last 6 days now but no 'peak'. According to my usual cycle length of only 23 days, AF is due on the 23rd. I'm hoping it is just late ov and not a ridiculous short LP. Either way, I've had fun SWI ED with a day off here or there.

On the plus side, I have now lost 12lb in the last 4 weeks! [hgrin] I have tonnes more to lose but hoping a bit of a jolt will sort my system out.

I have a lot of white, thick, snot like CM!! I am at a loss as to what this means as yesterday it was sticky and scant!! Am very tempted to test in the morning but not holding out much hope as my temps are clearly not staying elevated!!!

Feeling tired and disgruntled here. I just cannot imagine that we've hit the jackpot this month, despite SWIing to exhaustion (to be fair, the exhaustion is more due to crap from everyone at work, and demanding toddler). Wanna just go home and sleeeeeep.

Still can't quite give up yet though so have yet another question: I read on another post yesterday that bf'ing can shorten your LP so make it harder for bean to stick. But but but... you kind ladies told me that LPs never change! I don't really want to stop bf'ing altogether yet but think that will be the next thing to go if no BFP in a couple of weeks.

need I have not heard of that but your LP should not change and should be the same length each cycle!! That is all I know!!! [hgrin]

hmm this ttc business is difficult to understand
so I've been charting my temps since beginning of my cycle. I put them in on a mobile phone app and had put it based on my previous cycle which was 44 days which then calculated when my ov would be.
I've just entered all my data in Fertility Friend, as she said that I ov'd earlier than I thought I would and according to FF I am now 8 DPO :) I had a temperature drop on CD22 since then my temps have been rising again. I haven't taking any on sat and yesterday as I woke up earlier than normal and they wouldn't be representable anyway...
Don't want to do symptom spotting just yet but ooh exciting a little, as I thought I was just about to enter 2ww and I'm halfway through already... that is if FF is right

Blue - That does sound promising! so would that mean that your cycle is shorter this time round then? Mine have been increasing in length each cycle and last time it was 39 days, long cycles make TTC so much harder!

GTR - you have such willpower! you must be going mad not knowing what's going on! When do you go back to the docs for more tests?

Also - what is fertility friend? I haven't come across this, have never temped or used ov sticks. When I conceived DS it took months for periods to come back after coming off the pill. I finally had one and then conceived straight after so never really figured out anything about my cycle! This time round I thought I'd just SWI lots around when I thought it was the fertile time (using the ov calc on here) but that has proved unsuccessful for the first 2 cycles and am now SWI EOD and will be ED when EWCM turns up. Am trying not to become too obsessive and have managed to avoid getting into temping etc so far but not sure how long that will last!

We'll have to update our stats soon as I'm guessing quite a few people are coming up to AF due dates! How exciting! FX for everyone in the 2ww!

thanks Maisie forgot to mention that I tested positive 12DPO with DD2 :) so not long to wait!

this is Fertility Friend basically you can keep track of your cycle by putting in things like temperature, CM etc... and they calculate your fertile days and ov day!

Maisie need to test again this week and if that's negative then I have to make an appointment to have a number of blood tests done to check various things! Feel so sick and dizzy at the mo so thinking to test tomorrow and if BFN then I can call the surgery!!!

Does anyone think that if I test tonight I will get an accurate result considering i am 9 days late? Or should I wait and use FMU?

I reckon if you hold off drinking for 2-3 hours then it should be representative...if your wee isn't all dark and concentrated after that though wait til morning.

GTR I'm no expert (look at some of my inane questions!!), however I would say so. More than that I just don't know how you'd have the will power to wait any longer- and you originally did say Tuesday. It's difficult for you with your long and unknown cycles, but yes, give it a go I reckon. Good luck xxx

GTR I would go for it. At least you might be able to get a good night's sleep! (or Fx be all excited by a BFP but that's a good sort of no sleep!).

I have been cramping quite bad over the past hour or so. AF not due for another 5 days so only CD18. No idea if I have even ov'd yet so not entirely sure what is going on.

oggy pretty much same here. I'm cd19, I've had cramping since yesterday (This I think, though is fairly standard for me). I don't know if I've ov'd. I don't think I have. I've totally given up hope this month though!

Could be implantation cramps for you?

nearly, that would be my hope, though if it does end up that I only have a 7 or 8 day LP then I don't know the likelihood of it sticking. Fx that we are both feeling implantation! ;)

Well i think i will be the only one left on the plane once all you Ladies get your BFP. AF will not be due to vist again untill 16th nov so i have a full month of SWI to be getting on with.

Just thought i would share something i over heard my ds ask my dd this morning which made me laugh.

ds to dd when santa comes does he have a sat nav he uses to find us.

I now have terrible back ache accompanying the af pains about a week before af due.... any ideas? I'm worrying my endometriosis that I thought had improved since birth of ds is back .

I'll be on this plane next month unfortunately. But I am holding out a lot of hope for my fellow passengers!
