If that works, could anyone have a little look and see what you think - i am really clutching at straws here i know, but having a second, or third, or even forth opinion would really help. The pic is not great but i think you can just about make out the line!! :)

Ah thanks - yeah i know the pic is rubbish you don't even have to squint in real life or anything, can even see it bad light, but the camera i have just would not pick it up!! I can't even zoom in on it because then the edges get blurred!! Well if it is positive then I am sure the next test will confirm, so for now I am just going to have to wait it out until my tests arrive or i cave in and buy some more!!

Sorry GTR my reply sounded a bit blunt! Sending lots of positive vibes your way, fingers crossed, etc, etc. Let us know what the doc says... hm if you mention a potential positive test do you think they might do a blood test/other for you They might want to check before going down the route of doing any other tests though, surely..?

Just looked at pic. There's def something there, but whether positive or not don't know. Never seen an evaporation line so unsure there. Feel frustrated for you just looking at it, so goodness knows how you're feeling! Have everything crossed for you, well bar my legs, need to get down to SWI tonight!

loulou do not fret - your post was perfectly fine :) I was thinking that as well, i might go down the route of that i initally came in because my cycles are horrendously long and I was worried that I was not ov'ing but now I am late and I think i had a possible positive and see what they say to that!!

busta amazingly don't feel too bad, more frustrated that I have ran out of tests!! The pic is not the best and i am getting a lot of negative votes, but I promise you in RL the line is very definite and very pink!! I have heard so many stories of women checking after the time allowed and seeing a positive and going on to get their BFPs but unfortunately I have also read a few where they were evaps/false positives and AF showed up!!

Only time will tell :)

Thanks GTR - hope the docs was OK. It definitely just feels like the tail end of ewcm now, but as you can see on my chart; my temps aren't doing anything much. (Sunday's was anomalous; I drank a fair amount on Sat night!)

I have had a busy day today, lots of driving, so there's no way I'm doing anything except sleeping tonight, but I wonder if we stopped to soon. We haven't managed a successful SWI since Sun afternoon....

It's quite hard to tell by the temps what's happening there festie going by the pos OPK and EWCM I'd say if you haven't ov'd you soon will!! Sorry that's not much help is it!?!

Doc was fantastic!! Has suggested I test twice, once this week and again next week and if BFN he's said to make an appointment to get some bloods done and see if my ovaries are actually working!! So going to buy a test tomorrow and use FMU Thursday morning!! Even if it's BFN feeling more positive as he was so understanding!!! :)

Oh GTR, that is brilliant! How great to have an understanding Dr, and wonderful that you're going to get some answers! fx for that bfp regardless!
Yeah, my chart's not giving much away! Hopefully we did enough this weekend, but if not, there's always next month. I need to cultivate a more laid back attitude about the whole thing. It really isn't fair putting dh under all this pressure!

Update: this morning - temp still completely flatlining, still ewcm present, but cervix is definitely low and very firm. WTF?!! Wondering if I could be having an anovulatory cycle. I usually only get 2 days of ewcm; this month I've had 5 so far.

Or my thermometer's dodgy?! This month is the first month I've temped, and also the first month I've used the two finger method to extract CM too, so maybe that stuff's always there, but I don't normally notice it...

Morning all!! How is everyone? festie as you are having fertile CM the spermies should be able to survive for at least 5 days, 7 at a push for the really strong ones!! I would monitor the CM/CP and temps over the next few days and see what they are up to!! You did have a temp drop so just see if you get a sustained shift!! Fx'd for you :)

Hmm, having read around it this morning, it looks likely that I'm just ov-ing a bit late this month for some reason. We have 1/2 a LBP left. Might see if I can persuade DH to use it later to try and seal the deal. (Think poor love is still recovering from our weekend of SWI!) Bet if you asked a young randy man if he could ever see himself too tired for sex he'd never believe it could happen!!!! :o

indeed festie!! My DH keeps telling me he could handle it but SWI EOD for 2 months would bring him to his knees!! I would def get another SWI in just to make sure! I always tell DH just one more time, then you can stand down although then I realise I didn't ov and he has to rise to the occasion again (pun intended :))

Have just purchased the pg test - was going to test today, but think it might be better with FMU as i have already been twice since getting up!! I just know I am not going to be able to hold on!! Argh!! With AF potentially 3 days late (I say potentially because if I ov'd on the 1st October then I would only be 1 day late) if I wait until tomorrow then i will be 2 days late and with FMU might give me a more accurate result

My other test from Monday is still pink, if it was an evap would it have gone grey now as it dried out like the other one did? My latest CM/CP rummage indicates low, soft and medium and creamy

It probably is best to test with FMU tomorrow if you want to avoid another false negative, you're right. Bloody hard to wait though!

I think your test suggests a very faint result if it's got pink in it. F tightly X that tomorrow brings a definite BFP. It's been a couple of days since that one, and as we all know HCG levels double every 48 hours in the early days, so tomorrow should give you a much more definitive result!

GTR oh pleeeease test, I can't stand the suspense. I have everything here crossed for you. I'm very hopeful. I don't post often but I'm often on here checking your description of CM and the like! You are very informative, and you'd be a great loss, but it would be great for you to be your BFP and progress onto another board!!

Wowee lots of chat last night! I was busy getting a nice massage so had a delightful night's sleep - just what I needed.

GTR, argh I'm nervous for you! So hope it's a good result. The doc sounds brilliant and like they are ready to look into things for you should you need it (hopefully you won't). I agree, if you can hold out, wait till Thurs to avoid chance of a BFN at this stage although I would blatantly test as I have no willpower whatsoever.

If I had a school report for this month's cycle, I think it'd read "Loulou must try harder..." :( Wanted to DTD last night again but crashed out after massage - boo! Will try the next few days but I'm sure I've ovd already - think it was last week as I had most symptoms then (CM and twinges in the ov zone) and the ov sticks have shown no change in the past week +. I guess the end of this month will tell! Can we just fast forward a week please? I'm going to have to keep myself nice and busy to take my mind off the 'what ifs' I think. Plenty of baking, organising and some fresh air TV, MN and eating

p.s. Blue hope you feel better soon - rubbish timing, but there's still time to pull it back for SWI :) If you're tired or not feeling good, it can feel like quite a pressure can't it.. try not to worry about it too much though - if you're not feeling in the mood, you're just not and there's always tomorrow :)

Loulou - I was too tired last night as well! As you say; you can't force yourself if either of you are absolutely knackered; this obsession just gets unhealthy sometimes, doesn't it?!

On a (not wholly) unrelated note, one of our chickens laid an egg this morning - our first one (we haven't had them long)! So I'm hoping that I'll lay my egg today too, and I can persuade DH to have a pill and then an early night tonight!
