Morning ladies, happy Friday :)

EWCM started appearing this morning - not the proper stuff but looks like it's coming if you see what I mean... DTD last night but didn't manage it this morning - way too tired (oh dear, this seems to be a common theme in our SWI efforts!) Now I'm away till Sunday afternoon... really hoping that I'm not going to miss my window - hang on there eggy till tomorrow at least!

GTR yeah I was more affected by Jobs than I thought I'd be. However, annoyingly the thing that's made me most tearful is the Disneyland TV ad when the kids get told that they're going on hols to Disney. That bought a tear to my eye this morning. Pathetic. This TTC lark is making me soft - I'm not normally a crying person at all!!

Lol - I don't really cry either!! I have turned over a completely new leaf today for TTC - i think i might stop with the temping because i don't sleep well and i don't think I can accurately use the temps because i never get a full nights sleep. Will try the OPKs and CM/CP but just going to see how things go for a while! Have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday so I am going to see what is said then (i have had AF 3 times since coming off the pill in June 2010) something is not right (am a little concerned that i am over weight and that might be stopping my ovaries from working correctly!! Having said that i has a chubby friend who has got 5 kids now so maybe not!! And my SIL was not exactly slim when she had her first!! We will see!!

GTR that sounds like a good plan - if you're not sure that the temps are correct then it's probably not worth the effort of faffing around first thing in the morning.

Fingers x-d for the doc's and that they give you some answers/possible solutions.

I'm erring over whether to make a quick detour home for SWI before heading off for the weekend... I think I might be coming up to ov time if my CM is anything to go by and really don't wanna miss out. GTR tell me I'm not crazy and that this is in fact a logical idea ?!

You are defintely not going crazy loulou i think that sounds like a very sensible idea especially as you are not going to be around for potential ov day (lets hope you ov Sunday :)) - getting an extra one in today would mean that you could have a day off tomrrow anyway and then get back on to it on Sunday!!!

I just have a quick question - anyone else know what their CM does just before AF? AF for me should happen on Sunday and I thought (perhaps foolishly) that you were supposed to be dry(ish) up there but I am far from it, although my CP is low, it's soft when it should be firm and my CM is creamy white and in abundance!!

Ohhhh loulou get on in there I think we are both in sync I also believe I'm close to ov- ing and swi last nite and will again tomo and Sunday!
I may go get a clearblue ov-ing kit I'm sure it was £20 or so!

If it's not my month this month then we'll go onto next month - at least my cycles will settle down further so I'll have a better idea of where we are with oving. I'm being firm with myself and telling myself not to stress that we could be missing out as this weekend has been planned for ages and I'm really looking forward to catching up with friends. This is only our third cycle straight off the pill of trying so it's early days yet :)

I have booked the earliest train i could get away with on Sunday for earliest SWI opportunities! Haven't had proper EWCM yet and no ov twinges so fingers crossed. If it's not to be though, it's not to be. People seem to be making babies left, right and centre without too much trouble (or any effort whatsover )so it's going to happen at some point, right?

loulou i hope you have a lovely weekend. i am in the same boat about feeling i should be here bonking all weekend but actually a weekend with a load of raucous hens is excatly what i need. Enjoy many a vino and have lots of fun. As GTR says, your DHs swimmers will be hanging around on some tube corner waiting for the egg :) Hopefully the same will happen for me!

Enjoy your weekend Loulou, as GTR says, the egg hangs around for 12/24 hours afterwards so there should be ample 'catch the egg' opportunity on Sunday!

GTR - Just adding my voice to say that, yes, an abundance of CM before AF is due can mean you're PG. I was certainly very wet down there when I had my chemical, and with previous pgs. FX!!

Mama Hope the move is going OK, and you're managing to find a sanctuary in SWI-ing (amazing you can find the energy during a move!)

Thank you ladies :) even if I am not, you have made me so happy and for all the support!! Just had a boozy lunch oops!! But can't really let TTC get in the way of life, it's too short and let's face it, with my erratic cycles the likelihood of a sticky bean being in there is not that likely at this juncture!! I actually want AF so i can move on to next cycle and speak to the doc about the best way forward!! If no AF on Sunday then I am def going to test but not getting my hopes up - have no symptoms at all!!!

Well I drank far too much last night, so I think my temp rise was probably more to do with that than any shift, so think I'm still in the game - lots of ewcm this morning, so late brekkie then a final SWI before we go and collect the kids!

Oh yes, Rusulka - me too on the health kick front - I'm even doing the food diary thing on myfitnesspal..... Weighed myself and got a nasty shock, so thought it might be conducive to attaining pregnancy if I wasn't the size of a small whale to start with. Bloody boring though (and the large amount of beer I drank last night was a bit of a slip - oops!)

Hope you got your SWI in Mama, despite all the nightmarish moving stuff you've got to sort out.
