Hi,

Hope it's ok if I can join? Have read most of the posts, but haven't managed to catch up with them all yet. I have just stepped out of the June antenatal club having had a chemical pregnancy. Feel disappointed and need some encouragement! AF started Sun, so I'm assuming this is the right bus??? don't know if 100% AF though as not a usual one, assuming that's the chemical pregnancy, plus could mess with my cycle????

Anyway, here goes again!

floralflora · 04/10/2011 15:14

Just thought I'd say hi. I am in the SWI EOD gang, may do my first POAOS this afternoon as this is CD12. No CM clues at the mo though. My DH thinks all his birthdays have come at once as he doesn't usually get lucky so often Grin. Unfortunately for him, I get more satisfaction out of everyday life than SWOI Blush. At least I feel more motivated to SWI when ttc. From that point of view, DH isn't too fussed if I get BFP any time soon Wink.

louloubellamozzarella · 04/10/2011 15:24

Hi bustamove and floral welcome on board the figurative plane - please bear with the aviation metaphors :)

Feel free to thrown in your stats if you so wish and good luck!!

grinningbee · 04/10/2011 15:30

At the risk of too much tmi (is there such a thing when ttc?) it is a mucky brown. I shall indeed wait and see... but my bet is the red witch will be out later on today - or overnight.

BustAMove · 04/10/2011 15:45

Thanks for welcome! Am a v nervous flyer, so I guess the metaphor is apt. Yes, forgot my stats, so here goes, 37 ttc #3, AF started sun, so I guess due 29th. Feels weird to think that come halloween I'll either be pregnant or not.

festiemum · 04/10/2011 16:17

Hi all,

Adding meself to the stats. Due to need of LBP (Little Blue Pill - sorry, there's too many acronyms already without me throwing another pointless one into the mix), I don't think we're going to manage EOD, so it'll probably be EThirdD and extras next weekend when 1. My kids will be at their Dad's and 2. I should be ovulating!!! Hi Bust - sympathies on the chemical; had one myself in August - no fun at all, my cycle afterwards was normal, if that helps, have added you to stats. Grinning Bee - hang fire on AF then, after all, our own icooksocks thought AF had arrived too, and now she's in first class!!

BFP only First Class upgrades
icooksocks, TTC#4, CD1, AF due again 31st Oct

Necking a complimentary G&T and Waiting to POAS
GTR2882(29) ttc #1 AF due 9th October but let's face it, she could turn up tomorrow - who knows!! Either way, it's not fun waiting!! Cycles are horrendously long (at least 57 days!)

Joining the mile high club for lots of SWI
blonderedhead (35) ttc #1 AF due 18th October or possibly whenever Auntie bloody feels like it.
Loulou (27) TTC#1, AF due (19 October - but unsure of cycles so maybe later)
iloveberries (31) TTC #2, AF due 21/10 or 24/10 (I have 31/34 day cycle since coming off pill)
festiemum (38) ttc#4 AF due 22nd October
Mama5isalive (35) ttc3 CD10 - AF 23/24 Oct (31daycycle????)
crystaltea36 (27) ttc#1 AF due 26th October
nearlymumofone (really should change my name as i'm ttc#2 now) (34) AF due 28th Oct-ish....
BustAMove (37) ttc#3 AF due 29th October
Bluetinkerbell(28) ttc #3, AF due possibly 31 October, also depending on cycle length
Puzzletree TTC #4, AF due 31 October
Grinningbee (40) TTC #3 AF due 5th November

oggy24 · 04/10/2011 16:25

oggy24 (26) ttc #1 AF due 23rs October

I have invested in a CBFM from Ebay (too skint to buy a new one!). I have reset it and so far seems to be working fine.

mama5 every other day is fine!!! At least you'll be nice and relaxed :) I wish I could drop everything but because if my long cycles I need to know roughy when ov will take place!! SWI every day would lead to exhaustion and prob more stress!!!!

Mummyin2012x · 04/10/2011 18:50

Hi all,

I would like to join in this flight too please :o) I am a serial lurker!! And have decided to take the plunge and post!

My stats are Mummyin2012x (22) ttc #1 AF due 27th october

This is our first month of properly trying, last month we decided to ttc but I didn't know when my ov dates were and was a bit confused by it all (still am a little!), I have looked up my ov dates on the calendar and it said from this Thursday to Sunday, so the plan is to SWI from Sunday just gone to next tues to hopefully be in with a chance. I'm just so excited and hope it doesn't take too long! Xxxx

GTR2882 · 04/10/2011 19:14

Welcome 2012 here's hoping you get a nice shiny BFP!!

I would not trust those calendars though - do you chart or anything?? How long are your cycles and what CD are you on? :)

GTR2882 · 04/10/2011 19:18

Oh and welcome to the other newbies puzzle, bee busta and floral

floralflora · 04/10/2011 19:37

Thank you all for your greetings. In fact I'm not a newbie, I introduced myself a few days ago but I've been snoozing at the back Wink.

We just got in from DS's swimming lesson, I put their tea in front of them and rushed upstairs to POAOS. Was very pleased to see a definite dark line in the window, then realised it was a pg stick showing the control line Confused. Oops. Getting a bit late today but I'll try again in a bit!

GTR2882 · 04/10/2011 19:44

Oh no floral and sorry for the second greeting!! I have been a bit of a scatterbrain today!! Managed to send an email to DH today that I thought he would like only to receive a reply telling me that i sent it to him yesterday; turned a light on at home this evening and about 10 mins later asked DH if he had put the light and to which I was told, no you did it!! I don't remember sending the email or switching the light on! And now I am welcoming people who have already been welcomed!

Maybe a good nights sleep will see me right :)

festiemum · 04/10/2011 19:55

Hello Mummyin2012 - glad you posted. I'm a serial lurker in other places, and it's always good to see lurkers take the plunge and post! Welcome!

Mama5, hope you enjoyed your cuddle; hope it didn't make your ovaries twinge too much!! I am honoured to be promoted to cabin crew status! Thanks
Good luck with the EOD SWI-ing - can't be wrong if you're doing that over the next week! Sperm bound to be in situ which is all we can hope for! Wink

Hey oggy come on in, take a seat, help yourself to hot chocolate/wine/nachos.

festiemum · 04/10/2011 19:57

GTR (cross post) - It's all that SWI-ing - there's commitment to the cause, but try not to burn yourself out!!! Wink Thank goodness you're in the 2ww now!! :o

Bluetinkerbell · 04/10/2011 20:00

I'm exhausted too! Luckily tonight is my evening off Grin
I fell asleep with DD1 cuddled up on the sofa watching In the Night Garden. DH came home at 7.30pm and woke me up, then carried DD to bed and is now out getting us a curry as I didn't cook Blush Love him!

Mummyin2012x · 04/10/2011 20:02

Hi gtr - as I've just started I'm not sure how long my cycles are, AF came on 27tb sept so I have made a note of that and will see when I next come on, hopefully I won't as will be pg (pleeeeeease!!)

If We SWI every day will that cover it? I find all the info about conception hard to digest!

Thanks for welcomes everyone :-D x

BustAMove · 04/10/2011 20:29

Hi festie, hope you don't mind me asking as you have experience on this. What was your period like straight after chemical pregnancy? It's just mine only lasted a few hours really, and now I've had a few days of just a pinkish discharge. Usually my period would last 4-5 days. Just wondered if this was the norm, or if I can expect more bleeding at a later date. Wondering if this is not actually AF, but just the miscarriage.

GTR2882 · 04/10/2011 20:47

2012 SWI EOD should be fine, but just make sure that you allow extra after when you think you should ov just in case that you ov late, especially if you are not too sure on cycle length. Might be worth checking CM to see if you get the fertile stuff (watery/EWCM) at least that way you can be sure that your body is gearing up to ov (unless you are like me, of course, in which case you will not see much, if any!)

If you need any advice though, please ask anyone here, we are a friendly bunch and will try and help where possible Grin - I for one will no doubt ask very inappropriate questions, such as how's your CM looking? but it's all for a good cause, i promise :)

Mummyin2012x · 04/10/2011 20:54

Thanks gtr! You all seem a lovely bunch :-)) I find myself getting confused with a lot of the acronyms though, what does EOD stand for? Aha as I've typed this I've worked out every other day... Wouldn't every day be better? And what does DPO and CM stand for? :-D

festiemum · 04/10/2011 20:54

BustA - of course I don't mind! I had quite a heavy bleed after my chemical, though it was nothing compared to the bleed I had this month! Apparently that's all normal, as is a light bleed! From what I've read, anything goes! Some women's periods go really light, some have the heavy stuff that I had.

I suppose our bodies are all different, so it's no surprise that they react in different ways. Don't be surprised, or worried if your next period is really heavy though. (Of course you're going to get a BFP, so this is irrelevant!) It took me completely by surprise and freaked me out a bit til I did a bit of research and realised that it's completely normal! :)

festiemum · 04/10/2011 20:55

Mummyin2012 - DPO - Days past ovulation - CM - Cervical Mucus - though I prefer to call mine fanny batter because I'm coarse! :o
