New thread ladies, pull up a pew.

OP posts:
NinjaChipmunk · 29/09/2011 16:13

solars is this the follow up after your hsg? Good luck!

Grin at cake

BartletForAmerica · 29/09/2011 16:40

Imps, just visiting family. Hope the positive OPK turns into a BFP soon!

Dizzy, hello! I am now 6 weeks - nausea beginning to kick in, on alternate days curiously enough.

farfalla, really glad your appt went well. Good there is a plan in place.

scrambled, sounds awful with the mirror. Hoping the pre-seed works for you - did for us!

Can't write for longer (small boy wanting my attention) but let's all chant together, "Our wombs are wonderful!" Grin

BabySade · 29/09/2011 16:51

Generic I'm on the edge of my seat over here!!! Are you gonna PIAR in the morning?

Scrambled that mirror story is scary, glad you have a lovely DD to make up for it though.

Farfalla glad the appointment went so well. Sounds like the consultant is really going to get things moving for you guys.

Is it Solars or Ninja who has the follow up tomorrow? I'm getting all confused, must be baby brain.

Cake sounds like your DH & mine could do with some sensitivity lessons! I told my DH that I had period pain earlier. He then started talking about what to do differently next month. I then reminded him that AF hadn't actually arrived yet. His response was why tell him about the period pain then as now he'll be constantly waiting for AF. Welcome to my world. Blokes eh? Grin

And yes AF hasn't yet arrived so I'm still clinging to the 0.00001% chance that I'll get BFP in the next few days instead of stupid AF

BabySade · 29/09/2011 17:00

Ahh it's Solars, good luck tomorrow Grin

GenericDietCola · 29/09/2011 17:02

Cake your womb is indeed wonderful!

Bartlet nice to see you - hope all is well.

Baby let's defy the odds together and get our BFPs tomorrow - COME ON!

Now where are those pom poms?

BabySade · 29/09/2011 17:11

I'm loving our new motto Grin

Our wombs ARE wonderful!

Generic you are on! It's time we teach AF who's boss Wink

musicalmrs · 29/09/2011 17:26

Generic and Baby, I am very excited about your impending BFPs! Annoyingly I'm teaching tomorrow, but will be clinging to the thread on the train/in my lunch break to hear your news. Brooking no argument for you both!

And yes, Generic and Imps, I was one with a BFP after AF. But AF was nothing like normal AF should be. On hindsight I thought it was an implantation bleed. However, the gynae thought another bleed was implantation. So I'm now clueless. Either way - it was odd, there weren't as many symptoms, and I knew something wasn't quite right - over a week later when I spent a couple of days feeling rubbish and miserable I thought I should test just in case, and there it was..!

I'm doing ok ish. Still spotting/bleeding a little on and off - though nowhere near as bad as when I hot footed it to A&E. Scan on Monday, but I'm struggling to stay positive in the meantime. Not had MS yet (though lots of feeling sick, but that I can deal with!), but plenty of other lovely symptoms, on and off, making me feel occasionally pregnant! Luckily a busy week of deadlines/concerts/teaching has meant I've had less time to think about it all apart from today, when I got into school to find the HOD off because she was in labour! (she hadn't gone on maternity leave yet) so brooking no argument that things are going well for her too.

Anywa, enough of my rambling! My womb is not only wonderful- but apparently juicy! Hmm

Imps7 · 29/09/2011 18:21

What have we got?
Wonderful Wombs!
When have we got them?
Now!

ScrambledSmegs · 29/09/2011 18:25

Oh dear, didn't mean to bring the thread down Sad. It was quite an early mc (nearly 8 weeks) so while bad not what a lot of people have had to go through. Can we forget about it now please and concentrate on Brooking No Argument?!

Anyway, quick post (bedtime looms for DD) so sorry if I've missed anyone but I'll be back later -

farfalla that's brilliant news that the consultant took everything so seriously. Hope you find out what you need.

Generic and Baby - ooh, I have pretty much every finger/toe/limb crossed for you both! And thanks for the B6 advice Generic - can you take the 50mg dose on top of a B Complex too? I don't think my pills contain very much B6 so maybe that's the next thing, if by some miracle I am not pg this month.

Good luck for your appointment tomorrow Solars!

Oh, and you may all have wonderful wombs, but mine is fabulous, darling!!!

dreamfeeder · 29/09/2011 18:26

ooooh, on tenterhooks for you both generic and baby. Double whammy.... Plus imps too, on for a triple!!!

Now, someone tell me to stop being ridiculous. Took my car into garage for the front airbag to be turned off to try out DD's new seat- they had it all morning and couldn't do it, my new smart phone has totally died after 9 days, and I keep thinking bad things happen in 3s and hoping it isn't going to be my 12 week scan (a week today) thats the third thing...

ScrambledSmegs · 29/09/2011 18:31

STOP BEING RIDICULOUS!!!

Is that ok? Bad things don't come in threes, but if they did - I honestly think that the scale of the 'bad things' is small so it's more likely that you'll drop a cup or something like that!

scarletfingernail · 29/09/2011 18:45

My fingers are crossed for you Little and great news re your luteal phase having extended. Sounds like things are definitely going in the right direction.

Baby so sorry AF turned up. I know how horrible it feels when it gets to a year. It took me 16 months to get pregnant with DS. That was with nothing medically wrong with me and no prior MCs. On the positive side, now you have reached 12 months your GP can refer you to a gynaecologist who can start investigations. I found that helped me psychologically, like the wheels were in motion so to speak. It might be a good idea to see a different Dr this time if you have more than one at your surgery. Mine has 3 and I go to different ones depending what the problem is.

Imps I'm sure that has to be a sign...

Generic!!!!!!!! I can barely cope with the suspense. Please PIAR tomorrow morning. We have to know one way or the other. I am sending AF a clear keep away from Generic or else message. I have everything crossed for you.

farfalla I'm so pleased you had a successful appointment. All systems go from here on in. (After this month of course)

dream STOP BEING RIDICULOUS! We only do positive superstition. Right?

Sorry anyone I've missed. Hope you're all doing well Smile

CakePigeon · 29/09/2011 19:36

dream stop being ridiculous!!

scarlet hello good to see you!

right, bath - done, sex pants - on, womb - wonderful... Let's make a baby! Grin

scarletfingernail · 29/09/2011 20:08

Grin at Cake

Just had to re read your last post. I read it first as "sex - pants"

Good luck, get smacking those rats and yes your womb is wonderful.

dreamfeeder · 29/09/2011 21:02

lol , i did too, and i thought, sex- pants, right now, I totally agree. Thanks guys, I have stopped being ridiculous and will be sure to drop a cup tomorrow, just to confirm it. Grin

MeconiumHappens · 29/09/2011 21:42

yO YO YO RAT SMACKERS IN DA HOOOOOOD. Must stop wtaching the 'kidz' on xfactor Blush

Im good ta :) All well at 9 weeks+, two weeks til scan! woopwoop!

Def not over til the fat lady sings, my af was 8 days late before an evening bfp with a bfn every single fmu before. Apparently by ealry scan must have ov late as not so far as i thought, which would mean ov'ing around day 27 of a 31 day cycle Hmm, so anything is possible! I also had some pinky browny stuff which was reallly typical pre af stuff for me so thought i was definately out of the game.

good luck everyone, buy preseed :)

ScrambledSmegs · 29/09/2011 22:36

Yay Meconium! Am vairy impressed at your 'yoot' speak. You are deffo down wiv da kidz.

D'you think we could get Preseed onto a 'Mumsnet Swears By' email? Can you imagine what they'd say?

DizzyKipper · 30/09/2011 06:18

Wow ov'ing on day 27 and a BFP to follow, that is very impressive meconium and gives hope to all! My preseed should be arriving today, given that we're going out with the inlaws for a meal tonight there should be just enough to pounce on OH as soon as he gets in before having to get ready Wink

Also dream just to add, stop being ridiculous! Can understand why you'd worry but bad news doesn't happen in 3s, and even if it did it's much more likely to be another household thing - fitting in with the trend so far.

Waiting for this morning's BFPs but have a feeling I'll miss them as I've got to go to work soon, good luck to those of you testing today, fx.

GenericDietCola · 30/09/2011 09:24

Musical thanks for the info - I'm glad all is well although sorry to hear you are feeling a bit ropey. Hope scan goes well on Monday - we are still brooking no argument for you.

Solars good luck today with the gynae.

Dream don't be ridiculous - everything will be just fine.

Cake hope you made a baby last night!

Meconium you are giving me hope!

OK, so I PIAR this morning and BFN. AF still not here though - all bleeding of any description has totally stopped, so all I have had was red blood on Weds and Thurs am - not enough to go onto a pad, just on wiping, although it was more than a spot.

So, what do we reckon? My last 3 periods before this have been moderately heavy and lasted 4-5 days, so this is not a normal period for me. However, when I came off the pill to TTC DD I was having very light periods then. As far as I can see it, this could have been:

Implantation - I may only be 11 dpo, so perhaps it's just too early for a BFP. Or maybe the internet cheapy I was using gave me a false negative

or

My periods are just getting lighter and cycles shorter - argh!

Anyway, got my scan on Friday to check up on what-they-have-most-recently-decided-is-an-adenomyoma and gynae appointment the following week, so I suppose I'll have a good opportunity to talk about all this then.

GenericDietCola · 30/09/2011 09:25

Ooh forgot to ask Baby how are you? Hope you have got your BFP!

CakePigeon · 30/09/2011 09:30

Ooh yes generic just too early and definitely implantation instead! You'll just have to PIAR every morning until the stick agrees with you now!

GenericDietCola · 30/09/2011 09:57

I've got one cheapy left and was hoping to wait til Sunday before wasting using it. I suppose on the upside, even if I'm not pregnant I've got away with a really easy period this month.

PopcornMouse · 30/09/2011 10:32

Gosh you lot are chatty! I've been away 24 hours and there are 3 pages of chat! :o

Turns out my ticket did include tube travel, apparently you need to look for a little + symbol next to the "any route permitted"/"specified trains only" bit :o

Thought I'd mention that FertilityFriend are doing a special - 12 months for $25, which is way less than usual (I'm cheap and had been using the free version) www.facebook.com/FertilityFriend?sk=app_157374620956160

I'm feeling a bit odd this week, ladies - stomach and boob cramps for the past few days - not badly, but enough that I notice iykwim. I thought it was just a leftover from AF (though I don't usually get boob ache with AF) but it's dragging on a bit, I'm CD9 (last month I ov'd on CD18 so I don't think it's that). Temps still higher than last month's baseline, too, but on their way down. So much so that I actually did a pg test a few days ago even though it was post AF, but I'm definitely not pg!!

generic definitely sounds like implantation! I wouldn't think the colour mattered, as it's still the same stuff that gets shed with AF as with implantation iykwim? (But I'm guessing :o )

Far I'm really glad the consultant's taking you seriously. What's the rough timeline on the tests? Will you know soonish or will it take a few months?

Dream don't be rediculous :o I am a firm believer in stuff coming in 3s, but it only applies to broken cups etc, not important stuff!!

rotfl @ cake's sex-pants :o

BabySade · 30/09/2011 10:54

Generic I can't believe it was another BFN, I'm thinking it must be implantation Grin especially with Meconium's story

Well it's another BFN for me, still no AF. I'm not too hopeful as I last DTD over 2 weeks ago so surely I would have a positive pee stick by now [hmmm]

Although I'm very interested to know when you DTD Meconium was it around day 27?

Dream you are being completely ridiculous my friend, there is no such thing as bad luck for a rat smacker. Do you hear me?! Anyway with all of us brooking for you there can only be good news at that scan Grin

Solars good luck for today ?

Popcorn anything interesting or different in your cycle means you are pregnant. Congratulations!

Imps where are you? Any exciting symptoms today?

I'm starting a part time uni course today through my work. I don't want to go as I feel fat and spotty. I'm scared the other kids will pick on me Smile

CakePigeon · 30/09/2011 10:56

baby fat and spotty = preggo!

That is all. Grin
