I'm updating the passenger list with my actual AF due date. I am a plonker and was looking at August's days so:

Signet (28) TTC #4 AF due around 21st ish
whysoserious (30) TTC#1 AF due 21st September
AstroNess (29) ttc#1 AF due 21 Sept (ish)
Bleats (31) ttc#1 AF due from 21 Sept (given my silly short cycles of late)
rogersmellyonthetelly (36) ttc #3 AF due 22/23 Sept
hickorydick (24) ttc#1 AF due 22nd September
HorseyGirl1 (40 on 24th - eeek!) AF due 26th or 27th
GoldenDaffodil ttc#1 AF due on 27 September (ish)
MyCatLikesToHideInBoxes (37) ttc#2 AF due 28th Sept (ish)
heroinahalfshell (26) ttc#2 AF due 28 Sept
Dalrymps (30) ttc#3 AF Due 28th Sept
katiekatiekatekate (32) ttc#2 AF due 2nd October
crystaltea36 (27) ttc # 1 AF due 2nd Oct
WhiteRose75 (35)ttc#1 AF 4 October
Pipbin (37) ttc #1 AF due Oct 13th
180 (37) ttc#3 AF due Oct 22nd
MockCroc (34) ttc#1 AF no idea because of MC
Imustbecrazy(26) ttc#2 AF due as and when it pleases.

I've had sore boobs for the last couple of days (started off just one and now both) but they've not been in horrendous amounts of pain, just uncomfortable I guess.. Maybe I'm just symptom spotting but I've also been peeing a lot more (could be due to cystitis I had last week) and I'm feeling a bit sick (only very slightly and most likely imagined really) so as you can probably imagine in my head I've decided I'm pregnant... I thinkGoldendaffodil hit the nail on the head with the 2ww cramps!

Anyway, I'm hoping this will be our month and good luck to all of you :)

Ok ladies, 8dpo here and this is when the insanity fun starts....
Symptoms, I have had sore bbs since I ovulated, this is normal for me, I have 1 week out of 4 where my boobs don't actually hurt. Last few days I have had a raging thirst, and am consequently peeing constantly, usually on an eBay special 10p test as I can't help myself. Anyhow, fast forward to today, I wake up starving (I never have an appetite for anything except coffee before 11am) then I look in the fridge and feel sick. Well this clearly means I am pregnant, so I scurry upstairs to pee on a stick. I think I maybe see something (at a 10 degree angle when squinted at in the correct light) so I crack open a clear blue. Line comes up straight away, it's fat, it's blue. Omg I think, I AM pregnant. Then I watch the test and the line fades. Bugger. It finishes up with a very skinny but very visible blue line on the left side of where the line should be. I am so not impressed. Anyhow, to conclude, I have been peeing on anything within range all day and the verdict is as follows. ITS TOO BLOODY EARLY TO TEST YOU SILLY MARE!
2 clear blues have questionable but visible lines, 2 cheapies have what might be a line when stared at for long enough. 1 first response has no hint of a line even under expert scrutiny with my line-o-vison.

Now then roger from what I can make of your post, are you actually saying you have had a faint line? This is very exciting news. You may be our first BFP.

I think I'm going to POAS over the weekend. Just can't help myself...

oh wow roger - sounds promising to me...

Just worked out there's 7 of you due af in the next week so it could get bumpy. Fingers crossed we'll get lots of lovely bfp's!

I'm only 3dpo and feeling low level nausea - unusual for me to symptom spot this early, I usually don't start to go mad until after about 9dpo (oh god, this could be a long two weeks!).

Roger - that does sound positive. Surely a line no matter how faint means something?!

MyCat - I'm 2 dpo and already symptom spotting too. I'm in my fantasy pregnancy bubble and sat on the train home from work this evening thinking about baby names.

Well this mornings tests were all negative, including clearblue, first response and cheapie eBay strip. I knew the lines on clearblue were too good to be true, they were pretty convincing!

Roger- So sorry to hear that. 8 days dpo is VERY early though so don't give up hope. How early did you get a bfp with your other DC's?

My crazy symptom spotting has now begun. I know this is tmi but I've had a very noticeable increase in ECM over the last couple of days. This has never happened before so I don't know if it means anything. I know it's not because of ov because I use a CB fertility monitor so I'm definitely 3 dpo. It's going to be yet another agonising 2ww even though I'd convinced myself i'd try to be calm this month.

Roger - what a waste of money you silly girl Wink It's way too early, so it's inevitable you'd get a BFN. Hold off till AF is due, not long now. Do some fun stuff over the weekend to take your mind of it and then it'll come round really quick.

Golden I've been symptom spotting since 2dpo at least. Fingers crossed it's a good sign.

Well I am currently in bed feeling RUBBISH. I feel like I drank 2 bottles of wine last night. I've had a splitting headache since last night and was scared to take anything for it and have woken up with it still there. Went back to sleep for a couple of hours and it has subsided a bit but still there. I also feel very nauseous! Which I am quite excited about. It may be because I haven't eaten yet and am hungry though.

Still have period pains. No AF yet though but (TMI alert) lots of CM. And I keep getting sharp twinges in my left ovary area which I have been getting for at least a week now.

And last thing, yesterday I had a crap day at work and came home and cried my eyes out (at work I had to hold back the tears several times throughout the day but managed to hold off till I got in my car) and I mean UGLY cried. Which is really not like me - especially about work I am so laid back. I think this crying was what caused the headache.

Girls...I don't know if I should say this or if I am just tempting fate / being a naive novice but I really do have a feeling today that I might be pregnant. I would be more shocked to get a BFN than a BFP.

There I said it, that's blown it for me now hasn't it!

GoldenDaffodil · 17/09/2011 19:14

Why - keeping fingers and toes crossed for you. The symptoms sound promising and you haven't got much longer to wait until you can POAS.

I'm about to head off to a dinner party where half the women present are pregnant. A long term ttc-er's worst nightmare!

Well with dd I got a bfp at 9dpo, and with my mc, at 7dpo. With ds it was 14dpo, But he was my first and I was pretty relaxed about the whole testing thing. I do take some hefty meds for my arthritis though so the sooner I find out I'm pregnant the better so I can swap onto more baby friendly ones!

Whysoserious · 17/09/2011 21:14

I didn't realise you could test that early Roger. Right now I'm going to find it very hard to resist the urge to POAS tomorrow. Definitely sounds wise for you to find out early to change your meds. Fingers crossed for you!

I should be at a party tonight but have had to cry off as I still feel ill. Very strong period like pains this eve. Keep popping to the loo to check AF hasn't arrived. So far so good

Hi Ladies

Back from France after lots of swi, wine and sun and now running to jump back on the bus. Af due at the end of this month and my most fertile time was whilst on holiday so I am optimistic. Glad to see some familiar faces (waving at everyone). Could you add me to the list please?

Astroness, chin up. Not having symptoms doesn't mean anything. Hopefully we'll have a few BFPs next week. What does fx mean by the way?

Mersea - hello! Sounds like you had a great holiday and it was very (re)productive Grin. Let the symptom spotting commence.

Well, after Roger informed me that you could test early I woke up at 6am this morning, found a test from ages ago and was all set too POAS. when I got to the bathroom and put the light on I saw it expired in June! It's partner must have been used months/ ago as a "oh god please don't let me be pregnant" test. Oh how things have changed.

So I didn't POAS but I'm desperate to know now. I've got really bad period pains still. 3rd day running but no AF. I'll probably leave it till next weekend now because I don't think I'll be able to focus on work if I do it in the week - whatever the outcome I'll be shellshocked.

Oh ladies I'm the first one off the bus SadSadSad

I went to the toilet about 11am and AF had arrived. I'm pretty sure it has anyway. So far there's just been one bit of blood. I wiped and it was there. Looked like AF blood and not what I would imagine spotting to look like. Since then nothing else has come. I am going to the loo literally every half an hour to check but nothing. It must be AF though right? I have been and bought a first response test to do just so I can be sure. I was so stupid and convinced myself I was pregnant. Feel like such a novice plonker now.

Onwards and upwards eh? It's only my first month. and DH will be pleased to have another month of SWi ahead of him Grin

I really hope the rest of you get your BFPs. I'll keep checking the thread for news!

Oh why that sounds rubbish. Is it definitely AF and not implanation bleeding? I guess you'll have to see how it goes to be sure.

Report
Whysoserious · 18/09/2011 18:02

Yeah definitely AF. has got heavier now. Sad

I really was convinced that I could be up the duff. It must have all been in my head Blush

Am going to get a CBFM I think so I can start to get to know my cycle a bit better and not have to have as much sex. It was bit of a chore last month and I'd rather have quality rather than quantity.

But hey, just realised I can stay on the bus as I'm still in time to have a June baby! Grin S'all good Wink

sorry to hear your bad news why its always a shitty day when AF turns up.
I'm still here at 10dpo, still testing, Im sure my ICs have been showing something and nothing all day, definately not BFN, but nothing clear enough to call a line. So anyhow, I cracked open my last clearblue (and it is my last after this!) and I got this there was a little something after a minute, and it just got darker. pic taken at 7 minutes. So I do my little excited dance round the bathroom and get out a first response and guess what? absolutely bloody nothing, not even a hint of a maybe line. I am SO angry with clearblue! Angry

I'm sorry, why - it's always such a down couple of days after AF appears but soon you can have another go.

Roger, I see a little line there....perhaps wait a couple of days and test again? I'm due around the same time you are and I know how frustrating it is to wait. I've got one superdrug test left and I'm saving it for after wednesday (provided AF doesn't make an appearance before then)

I've been ravenous for the past couple of days and eaten pretty much whatever I've fancied - I'm starting to think it's just imaginary and I'm just being greedy... I hope not!
