hickory- if it's any consolation, I feel like that about everything. What if lying on my tummy will stop me conceiving, taking a hot bath etc etc.

Me too! I love baths and haven't had one for the last few days because the last one I had made me feel guilty (I have been showering you'll be relieved to know!) Really silly!

I've begun to wonder about everything - 'perhaps this road is too bumpy, maybe my heels to high, what if I'm moving around too much or this music to too high pitched...'

I'm swaying from 'it's impossible to get pregnant - it's never going to happen to me' to wondering around Sainsburys and noticing that EVERYONE has children so somehow it must be possible....

I've been missing out on baths too (just in case!)

Crazy I'm with you - love my hot baths! Surely they're good to help you relax? Maybe if we have them not as hot?

I didn't know you weren't suppose to when I was pregnant with dd I was only told it was an issue when in labour as you shouldn't have really hot baths as it can stop contractions? Other then that I continued having baths you just have to be careful when you sit up as you can pull muscles in your stomach easier when pregnant!

It's fine having baths - I think the blokes shouldn't have hot baths though when TTC to conceive as it heats their balls up too much and effects all the little spermies (that's about as technical as I can be at 9:20 on a Monday evening)!

But it's absolutely fine for us ladies to have a bath and you're absolutely right it helps to relax. I'm just being ridiculous and I know I am.

Not a good idea to have HOT baths when pregnant though as it can overheat the fetus. Same principle behind not going in hot tubs I think. But, again, it'd fine to have warm baths that you don't have to ease yourself into.

Phew that's good to hear there's no way I was giving up the baths awell as everything else got to have one little luxury in this somewhat stressful waiting game!

Ok well the first symptom I spot is my baby brain. This is how I'm going to explain my bizarre behaviour this morning, anyway.

I was trying to explain something to a group of about 30 people, only to go off on a complete non-comprehensible tangent. I think they thought I'd lost my marbles.
You had to be there really but let's just say that I've been cringing at the thought of it since.

I shall go and hide under a rock now. X

I got a on the opk this morning so I'm planning on swi tonight, tomorrow morning, tomorrow evening and thurs morning too - phew, I'm exhausted just thinking about it!

AstroNess - hello fellow due date.

Sorry for the complete absence of chat but I have been in Rome and of course come back to too much work. Very little swi so if anything happens I will be amazed... however having odd crampy, achy pains accross my stomach today. I doubt that this is due to the first pair of tights I have put on since the summer.

OK - missed the whole bath thing. I am not going to stop having bathes - I really want one tonight.

What else are we not supposed to do? I understand that lube is out, as is (too much) drinking and smoking (obviously). Is there anything else which isn't wise?

opk question ive only started using them this month just the internet cheapies and have been using them since cd11 and the line started off really faint but is getting stronger still slightly lighter then control line so could i be ovulating now? Sorry if i sounda bit clueless!!!!

bleats I've got achey cramp like pains too. Although they're really dull and I can't decide if I'm imagining them or if they are just period pains and that I always get them a week before AF arrives. dammit wish I'd paid more attention before. I WISH IT WAS NEXT WEDS SO I COULD FIND OUT AAAGGH. Ahem sorry about that. Going slightly mad methinks
