Crikey ladies, you really need a new thread. My PC is having a coronary trying to refresh the page!! 12oo plus posts! WOW!

mumswish · 19/01/2006 10:14

CH - No AF yet, but to be honest I'm not worried, when I came off the pills last time I went nearly 3 months without an AF, plus starting the pack near enough straight away and carrying straight over has mucked me up but didnt want to get pg straight away (bit too raw at the time) and didnt want AF over xmas, new year so thats why I did it. Cant wait for AF to arrive tho. (wierd)

Good to hear no signs of AF for you yet either so it could be good.

Coathanger · 19/01/2006 10:28

And you took all 2 packs of pills - all 6 weeks worth? All on the trot, without a break?

mumswish · 19/01/2006 10:35

Yeh all 6 weeks.

Dont worry checked with docs. Was told I could do 2 packs back to back but when I managed to get to talk to DP again about trying I spoke to docs to see if I could stop part way through a pack they said i could stop due tot he fact that I had gone past my normal time anyway. (IYKWIM)

BTw, sorry i'm taking so long to answer posts but people keep walking past my desk so I have to keep stopping! lol

mumswish · 19/01/2006 10:50

Where is everyone?

Am very bored again, no one got any work for me to do again so I'm sitting here trying to make work. its driving me mad! lol

Wannabe- I'm really sorry about AF turning up, mean old bag!

Coathanger · 19/01/2006 11:34

Sorry been a while replying - had to go into town to get some bits coz DS1&2 have got to dress up as monsters at school tomorrow!!

Any way, question Mums - how can you bave taken all 6 weeks worth of pills if you only MCed 5 weeks ago? Sorry to be so brutal in my question but I'm wondering if you have your dates wrong

mumswish · 19/01/2006 11:41

Cool, monsters. I always used to love dressing up as things when I was little. Enjoy

As for dates. I'm sure it was around the 15th (wasnt it?) that I mc'd and I've definately got through 1 pk of pills and about 2 wks worth of the other one when I stopped on Sunday. I'm sure thats right.

wuzzlefraggle · 19/01/2006 11:48

hello and good luck to gillian and bubble. bubble i have the opposite problem and think that i am preg every month, but then get stupidly upset when af arrives...the mind is a powerful thing. Good luck northener, my fingers are crossed for you. hi mumswish, gd to meet u too (im a newbie)(me:20, dp:27, ttc for 4 mnths) and hi coathanger

mumswish · 19/01/2006 11:50

Wuzzle - How did you think of your name? I dont even remember what the rest of it is. lol.

Do you have any other children or you trying for your first?

Good luck and dont worry you'll have plenty of support here.

wuzzlefraggle · 19/01/2006 11:53

thanks mumswish! haha, my name is a bit strange aint it...when i was a little girl, i used to watch two cartoon type things..one called The Wuzzles and the other was caled Fraggle Rock..so i kinda spliced the two together and came out with wuzzlefraggle . this will be number one that im trying for, and im on cd4 at the mo (grrr @ af)is this your first that u are trying for?

mumswish · 19/01/2006 11:55

Never heard of the wuzzles but I remember watching fraggle rock.

Trying for first, just waiting for body to readjust etc first.

I really do like your name you know, its wierd and I like it!

What you got planned for the rest of the day?

mumswish · 19/01/2006 11:59

right girles, I'm off for some lunch. Will speak to you all in about an hour!

HUGS & KISSES

Coathanger · 19/01/2006 11:59

So you didn't take all 6 weeks of your pill then? I was just wondering if you haven't got AF yet because you might have got your dates wrong. And did your doc not tell you to have a break after the MC before starting on the pill again? Mind you I remember your GP as being not much help, so he probably didn't, eh?

Loving the name too Wuzzlefraggle! I remember Fraggle Rock so well! ahhhh, childhood memories!

wuzzlefraggle · 19/01/2006 12:00

yeah, i know what u mean..just come off the pill have you? my cycles have been al over the place recently..last one was 42 days, this one was 36 days, and im normally around 32 days :\ ?? (the wuzzles were cute little creatures that were 2 animals in one if u get what i mean, like eleroo was mainly elephant, only he was purple and had a pouch and could hop, lol). not much today really, you? not feeling so good today as af aint being to kind to me this month

wuzzlefraggle · 19/01/2006 12:01

cheers coathanger! i thought id be original lol. button moon was pretty cool too tho i rekon chat to u a bit later than mumswish! have a nice lunch!

wuzzlefraggle · 19/01/2006 12:03

**then, not than

Coathanger · 19/01/2006 12:40

Goodness though Wuzzle - you being so young how do you remember Fraggle Rock?? hehee!! I am much much older than you

wuzzlefraggle · 19/01/2006 12:41

i remember watching it very well hehe, how old are u coathanger? (if u dun mind me asking) i loved it

Coathanger · 19/01/2006 12:42

I will be the grand old age of 31 next weekend old and decrepid!

wuzzlefraggle · 19/01/2006 12:48

naaa, thats still young...is this your first that you are ttc?

Coathanger · 19/01/2006 12:53

No, I have 3 boys already - 6, 5 and 2

wuzzlefraggle · 19/01/2006 12:55

ahhh! have u been ttc for long? only 4 months for me but it feels like ages, the months seem to be draging by for me (think it may b because i dread af)

Coathanger · 19/01/2006 12:59

I fell PG unexpectedly in July last year but unfortunately MCed in AUgust at 7 weeks. It made me realise I really wanted another one, but DH isn't so keen so it has been a long hard slog trying to talk him round. But if it doesn't happen this month I will give up as I am starting an Combined Access to Nursing and MIdwifery course next week with the aim to do a Midwifery degree starting Feb 2007

wuzzlefraggle · 19/01/2006 13:04

im really sorry to hear about the mc, coathanger, i cant begin to imagine how that must have been for you, but you have my sinceerest (i know, i cant spell) sympathies. i have everything crossed for you that you get what you want this month {hug}

Coathanger · 19/01/2006 13:08

It is still quite hard to talk about but it really isn't as hard as it was. I don't really mind either way this month really because I get what I want whatever happens - if I get AF, then I have my career to work on, but if I get a BFP then thats just as fab!
