maybe shes just set in her ways then , we both like something special?, i think its lernt ds somethings too

pussycatmomma · 12/01/2006 18:40

sorry to hear about work probs peachy, maybe there is something in the air at the moment!
had really really bad af pains today, looking on my calender this is the day i should have come on...just wonderinig if i am working my days out all wrong?
do you two count day 1 as the first sign of "stuff" or first day of full on bright red bleeding? (sorry if tmi)
hows your day been trace, what you been up to?

trace2 · 12/01/2006 19:04

hi pussycat i count day 1 as my first day of af , and am 26 days and its always same, not to bad but just found out ex fartherinlaw died to day so dd . ds is upset wish i could help them

peachygirl · 12/01/2006 19:19

Sorry to hear your news Trace. I hope your older children will be OK I know you'll give them good support.
Pussycat, I think Homemamma said you should count the first day of your new cycle as the day you see anything so if you are numbering your days and AF arrives on day 27 your cycle is 26 days long, does that make sense? Thats how mine works with the charting. I haven't really had the 'dreggy'stuff (sorry, but a good word don't you think?)at the beginning of AF only at the end. AF just comes!

trace2 · 12/01/2006 19:44

thanks peachy,
pussycat looks like me and you will be getting af together then

pussycatmomma · 12/01/2006 19:54

ahhh, sorry to hear about your loss trace, but as peachy says, you are will be a great support to your ds and dd.......there is nothing you can really say apart from all the "learned cliches", just being there and giving them hugs and love, reassurance and support will be the most important things. Thanks for advice on af. i think i have got it now. Basically we will be doing the deed every day possible this month!!! im taking no chances!!
My sister has had her first scan today (frozen embryo transfer iminent, keep up girls!), she has one massive follicle and they are expecting her to ov tomorrow. once she has ov she has to wait 3 days before embryo can be transferred back, as they were 3 days old when frozen. Gosh, dont know how im keeping up with it myself!

trace2 · 12/01/2006 19:57

wow you might be pg buddys together then, i said same starting next wed

pussycatmomma · 12/01/2006 20:04

dh even more determined to get us pregnant this month now after all stress and being het up at work! think he is trying to keep me going bless him...If i count monday as day 1 (sorry to go on and on!) and now is day 4, even though im still "on" do we have to start yet? ? or is it too soon??? he keeps asking me, and i hate doing it when is all messy

peachygirl · 12/01/2006 20:24

Pussycat, no don't start yet unless you are feeling in the mood,
In the end how long was your cycle? we shouldbe able to use Homemamma's calulation to work it out

pussycatmomma · 12/01/2006 20:34

peach, taking the first day of "dreggs" (good word!) as day 1, my cycle ended up being 24days. month before was 26, but might have been a little shorter, as i didnt count the dreggy days as day 1 only red bleedinig as day 1. before this, think was 28.
complicated stupid things.

peachygirl · 12/01/2006 20:41

Ok the with a 24day cycle and counting back 14 days (Homemamma said this tended to always stay the same) ovulation would be predicted for days 10 /11/12 so you should start to BD seriously at least from day 6 and possibly continue for a couple of days after to cover all your bases. Does that match up with your previous days? Have you tried temping yet? Or even considered something like a persona machine?

pussycatmomma · 12/01/2006 20:46

i think the dates sound pretty much right, that sounds like a good plan to aim for. As for temping, i bought the thermometer and stuff, but want to give myself just this month to see if we get any joy. Dh quite against me getting to "involved" with the processes as we are so early on in trying, i sort of dont want to pressure myself too much iyswim. Im trying to relax about it all, and think temping at this stage might stress me out thinking of it all too much, so we are just going down the "being healthy and shagging lots" route. Sorry to be crude! Trace are you there, you are quiet tonight hun....

pussycatmomma · 12/01/2006 20:58

have to go for a bit, might try you all later, you quiet girls tonight. hope all well.
thanks for advice peach, any more i'll read later. ((((hugs))))) to all

peachygirl · 12/01/2006 21:00

Sounds like you are doing the right thing. Temping is a big step. I suppose I look at it differently as I started it as a way not to get pregnant! It has given me a really good idea of my cycle though.
I think I might have to sign off, DH wants me to watch a DVD with him and I have a mountain of ironing (again!)

trace2 · 13/01/2006 11:10

morning peachy and pussycat, and everyone else, how are you all??

Hi,

Do you mind if I join you?

trace2 · 13/01/2006 13:35

hi mumswish no we dont mind and welcome tell us a bit about your self

mumswish · 13/01/2006 13:47

I'm 21 (22 in June)
DF is 30 (31 in Feb)

No kids yet
2 MC's behind us.

Although we've not been trying, trying I am hoping to finally convince DF that we should now.

Had MC in Nov 2004 (after an acident with my pills) since then I went back on the pills until Aug last year when I came off them again but spent about 3 months without AF, when AF did arrive I had to go back on pills as we are in the process of buying a house, then found out I was pg (got caught in between the 3 months of no AF apparently) but lost that one aswel in December.

Needless to say I want to put it behind me and actually start trying. I've got 2 more pills to talk from this pack them I'm TTC!

trace2 · 13/01/2006 13:56

so sorry to here about your loss's hope when you stop taking pill every thing should run fine, we are her most days if you wana drop in for a chat.

so far this month we've got two bfp and its first month of thread , so hoping they bring us luck

am 39
dh 29
dd21ys
ds19ys
ds3.5ys been trying for 1 year hoping this year i get bfp

mumswish · 13/01/2006 14:03

It'll be nice to have someone to talk to now we're actually fully trying.

Dont want to be actively trying as such straight away as we're still trying to make sure our house goes through but wanted to start talking to you all.

I'm really looking forward to it, my best mate had alittle girl in Sept and I was soooo jealous. I keep watching all the baby progs on sky (at my mums) and getting more and more broody.

trace2 · 13/01/2006 14:13

mmmmmm i got 3 but am same , your pleased for them but also envious too, my friend is due end of this month, carnt wait, but still wish it was me.

mumswish · 13/01/2006 14:23

I only have access at work at the moment, until we've moved into house and set up internet so i'll prob miss you all most days. I'm in work mon-thur 9-5 and fri 9-4.

Good to hear there is some luck going on, on this thread.

Sorry to hear about your af's appearing. HORRID THINGS

trace2 · 13/01/2006 14:52

its ok just catch up when you can, if you ask us anything we will try and answer, and am not working since i had jack, missed out when other two were small

mumswish · 13/01/2006 15:10

Thanks Trace.

I've always said I dont want to work when I have kids, which is why DF is looking for a better paid job! its his opinion as well tho, he doesnt want someone else raising our kids so whether its him or me, depending on the money we're on.

Am just reading a thread on smacking and finding it very interesting. Although I am hoping I never smack or tap my kids I find it amazing that people are associating smacking (or tapping) your child as being the same as thumping an adult.

Anway..... never mind. lol
