homemama · 11/01/2006 20:18

Evening ladies!
I've just popped over from the 'fall' thread to try and spread some of our good luck your way. We've had 3 BFPs this week so we're doing really well.
Sadly, we've had another poster m/c so not all good news.
I'm staying with the thread until I can pluck up courage to join an ante-natal thread. Here's hoping many of you can join us soon!
Good luck to all!

AF arrived today. The b**ch!
Been screaming at dh all day - makes me feel a little better

peachygirl · 11/01/2006 21:16

Hi again
Sorry to hear about AF Mrs Wood
My Dh is not keen on Msnet too and he likes the same sort of things as your DH Cori.. playstation, gadgets etc.
He seems to be sort of interested but sceptical about the whole cycle issue. This month I'm doing what homemamma did and saying if he wants to Bd then it's up to him about whether or not we takes risks. We haven't really taken the full plunge into TTC just dabbling our feet in at the edge.

Welcome Tanyamumoftwo

pussycatmomma · 11/01/2006 21:31

peachygirl · 11/01/2006 21:41

I?m still around but will be off soon a double bill of Lost is on and me and DH are slightly sad sci fi fans.
I sort of have good news, have any of you seen the series ?something special? on Cbeebies? If you have under 5s you probably have.
Well, much of the last series was filmed with pupils from my school. They are starting to film a new series and me and my class are going to be in it. We are so excited (filming not until march) have to get a hair cut, put a bit of lippy on etc etc

pussycatmomma · 11/01/2006 21:46

oh thats nice hun!
i am sorry, not being a proper mummy yet i have no idea what the programme is, but anything which warrants lippy and a haircut sounds good in my book!
nice to hear from you, even briefly x x

peachygirl · 11/01/2006 21:47

It?s a really great programme; it features children with SEN and uses the signing we use in school.

have you something to tell to tell us northy

trace2 · 12/01/2006 16:10

where is everyone am lonley

peachygirl · 12/01/2006 18:04

Hi I?m here
Slightly strange day at work ... One of my classroom assistants is being a little difficult at the moment and we thought she had broken her toe this morning (turned out to be nothing)
It?s all very hard handling different people and 12 children (all SEN, several Hyperactive) and I don?t feel she is ?getting it all? IYSWIM. I feel a bit of a b*tch complaining about her as I like her and she is very happy in my room but sometimes I wish she would just get a grip on it all, ie sort the children out who are wandering round the room when I read a story instead of listening to the story herself!! (sorry complaint over) BUT I am feeling virtuous as I forced myself to stay an extra 2 hours at work and did most my work that was outstanding. Wooo Hooo

Trace, Lost was really good did you watch it?
Desperate Housewives is back next week, anyone else a fan?

trace2 · 12/01/2006 18:08

hi peachy your classroom help sounds very self centerd, and a bit of A wimp tbh
anyway no went to bed so dh taped it so gona watch it soon

pussycatmomma · 12/01/2006 18:16

hellooooooo! Gosh what a day!! v.glad to be home.
How are you two? x x

trace2 · 12/01/2006 18:18

hi am ok hows you??

peachygirl · 12/01/2006 18:25

Hi Trace, Hi Pussycat
She?s not self centred, she has lovely relationships with the children and is very caring (sometimes almost too caring) just gets caught up in things that aren?t important like tidying, setting up. I?m more of a grab things out of the cupboard as I need them and shove them back in type of person. She is quite old -61 and me and my Nursery Nurse are younger but we do work quite well together. I did speak to my deputy head about it, (it is not a new thing, she has been in school for many years and several teachers have found her hard work) and she said she might have a little chat about how she is enjoying it all.
I won?t spoil Lost for you then, but it was good, and it is coming back sooner than we thought it would, sometime in the spring.
I?m glad your DS enjoys ?something special? it is turning out to be really popular .It?s likely that my programme won?t be screened until next September or later than that. But Justin aka Mr Tumble is going to in my classroom!! How exciting is that!
