Oh Pussycat what happenned hun?

Peachy - I got a great deal in Dublin, it's free I work in the events industry so I book lots of hotels for conferences/events and we get great perks in return. I've only had to pay for flights! 2 nights B&B free at the 4 star Shelbourne and free dinner at The Four Seasons. Plus dh and I are going to a chateau in France for a free weekend in March.

I love my job

peachygirl · 10/01/2006 21:26

Pussycat! are you at home? is Dh with you? what has he said? I'm very worried too
Your boss is obviously very horrid .I don't think they ae allowed to do that can you go over them / go to personnel?

pussycatmomma · 10/01/2006 21:33

its just all been awful.
Please dont worry, im safe at the moment, dh with me. Its just been a really long and horrible day.
I used to have a great team leader and a lovely line manager, she was very understanding and i felt safe and ok at work.
we changed buildings a while back, and also managers. The new manager is definately not a people person and has been accused of bullying and harrassment in the past. I mentioned to you lot prev that i have had mental health problems inc depression, anxiety etc.
I thought i had been doing really well to try and get back to work after needing 7 wks off.
Basically my boss said to me today she didnt think i was fit to be at work.
Feel completely drained today.
Also i feel bad now because you lot thought i was just nice and normal and healthy and ttc like everyone else.
Now you might form other opinions (like boss obviously has)
ive been self-harming for about 10yrs off and on.
my dh is fab and understandign.
all my friends and fmaily are.
But now feel like this woman is starting to bully me at work.
ive never ever ever been in trouble at work.
i just wanna go and do the best job i can and get on with everyone, just lke i nromally do.
its really upset me.
Im sorry everyone x x

northerner · 10/01/2006 21:35

Pussycat you don't need to apologise for anything. Why did your boss say you shouldn;t be at work? What job do you do?

Glad dh is with you.

peachygirl · 10/01/2006 21:38

I oce worked with someone who was a bully. It is truly awful Pussycat, would you consider a new job,or even a bit more time out(ie leave) what do you do?
and quite frankly who is normal and healthy? we all deal with things in different ways and that doesn't make us bad people. My opinion of you, nice, funny, supportive hasn't changed and won't.

trace2 · 10/01/2006 21:39

right lady no need to be sorry. and yes you are very nice and NORMAL and healthy and yes you are like everyone else.
so dont put your self down, this boss as picked up on your downfalls and playing with them,is there someone higher that you can take this too?? do not let her put you down.
we are all here when you want us (((hugs))) to you

pussycatmomma · 10/01/2006 21:40
