Right then girlies..........I know i cant be the only one! If you cant wait to get Christmas out of the way so you can start ttc in January, sign up here! all our ttc threads seem to have gone v. quiet lately, im drummng up business for the luckiest, most hopeful, positive thread for 2006 babydust essential if you can do it! Come on, get your names down, January is a long dark month you know!

trace2 - I feel 23, except when DD gives us a bad night when I do think to myself I'm too old for all this.
BTW AF due 8th Jan, so I do get a second bash at end of month!

I don't want to sound too self indulgent but I feel quite sad this evening...as I don't think I am pg. There's not reason for it...I mean AF not due until Thursday but it's just a feeling I've got...I don't want to make it a big problem but it's all I've been thinking about today....I know I'll feel sad if it's a bfn....but hey it's only month two. It's just that (going on current cycles) the next couple of months due to work & DH being away etc...might be a bit hit & miss with ov.

Sorry, just needed to get that off my chest...I know you'll understand. DH just said " your not on that bloody website again are you?"....!!!!!

Hapy New Year everyone. I dont think I'm pregnant either so just waiting for AF to come so can start trying again. Feel like I should be giving up all unhealthy food and booze now it's 2006 but cant be bothered

hi ladies my dh thinks the same about this site, but he dont understand what i go through, been trying for so long, corrie i feel the same not pg it makes me so sad, because times running out for me, am 40 this year.it make me feel like a failure. soory about that ladies it must be the new year

hi girls.....welcome to our new ladies! as per usual ive missed loads of the chat. only got time for a quickie, im springcleaning (kind of! ) thought id make you all laugh, i have changed our bedroom round and REMOVED THE TV!!! my sister thinks its hilarious, but im sick of there always being a "decent film on" whenever it is right time of month for bd!!!! also dh always complaining we have too many late nights, so i have removed tv and from now on our room shall hopefully be a haven of zen calm and the ideal place for a spot of bd!!!!!! i can but try!!!! im feeling a bit more positive today, but it is such a help to log on and see such wonderful positive chat, im so glad we started this thread, it really will be good for us all. im sending myself a bit bonkers with all my "research reading" at the moment, anyone else reading a zita west book "how to get pregnant"??? it is a mine of information but does tend to make me feel a bit "ohmygod illneverget pregnant with my lifestyle!!!" anyway, im just off to clean the bathroom, bleugh, back at work tomorrow, so i should be back in my old routine of a bit of mnetting in the evening. big hugs to everyone, esp cori and peachygirl x x x xx

That is funny Pussycat - you don't think you are 'nesting' do you, all that cleaning. We only do a big clean when things get dreadful or we have visitors!
I also have a similar problem we have a digital radio in the bedroom which DH likes to listen to before bed, sometimes this is good but as you say isn?t really helpful with the Babymaking.
I haven?t bought any books doing most of my research online. Although maybe we should see what everyone has Trace you must have some books, you?re very experienced which you would recommend? I do have an Amazon gift token so maybe?I was going to buy the Marmite cook book!
I do have a question though.
Did any of you go to see your doctor to say you were TTC. I haven?t and I?m not sure whether to. Advice is welcome

hi again sorry peachygirl never did any reading on this subject, but i do alot online, but really i think about it to much, without making it worse, i have been to gp he says because of my age let it happen if it dont tough look, but i am going back to see him, i am going to ask for blood test to see if ovulating. but they say if your trying for more than 6 months you should see gp, [some help my was]
when i have been pg befor i love pregnency mags, they make very good reading. dh back at work tomorrow, ds back at nursery on wed so will have more time on here.

again good luck every one, when you do tests please let us know asap

hiya....byw, the book is called "Zita West's Guide to getting pregnant". I got the title wrong before. But is a good book. im feeling a little sorry for myself, day 18, and im sure i have already ovulated, and therefore, just a matter of time, a horrible 10 day wait before i can start testing..... you know what its like girls. I think about this far too much.

also, peachy, no i havent been to doctors for pre-conception check up but its in the back of my mind. How long have you been trying, just remind me. I was kind of thinking ill do everything i can for 6 months, and if no joy then ill go to doctors for advice. Actually ive been thinking about acupuncture for another health problem, and this also good for fertility so i might give that a whirl in the new year.
Trace, i am sorry you have had such a negative reponse from your gp. Can you see anyone else? i really wouldnt let them get away with it, it is your right to request help........

Hello....good to see you back pussycat.

I'm feeling doubly depressed this evening as a) convinced I'm not pg & b) back to work tomorrow!!!! On the pg thing...boobs are a bit sore, esp on the side but that's it...no other "possible" symtoms.....still not early testing, just going to wait until Thursday. MIL keeps saying I should be relaxed & not worry, that in her day nobody worried about CM & ov patterns...etc etc!!! Easier said than done! Even suggested to DH that we have a spot of bding this evening but his response was " what's the point, you've already ovulated!!" I did point out that I have read in places that a) people can conceive on a period (quite how I don't know) & b)some women can conceive a day before period..(again don't know how)...however, he doesn't want to know & say's if I'm not pg it want be a sperm problem moreover my eggs!!!! What is it about men & their bloody sperm???? Grrrrrr.......

I hate the waiting....it's doing my head in to be honest...

Hi guys! Think you've all got the new year blues.

I feel a bit of a fraud tbh, as this is only month 2 for me and I'm not really thinking about it. You have all got me thinking about ovulation dates and stuff. But Coriander, I don't get how it's possible to concieve whilst on a period either. But it does happen!

trace2. pre DD I was on a 25 day cycle, which went up to 28 days post DD, then Novembers didn't happen at all, Dec on right day, so who knows?
