We're aiming for the same age gap as between dd1 and dd2 - worked for us last time

IsawPussycatmommakissingsanta · 09/12/2005 14:16

Anyone else doing a bit of reading up on the ol' baby guru Zita West and thinking F*!!! how can my body be a temple of babydom when i actually STILL DRINK TEA , TAKE PROZAC, and wait for it......DRINK A GLASS OF RED NOW AND AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! come on , fess up, do the baby gurus scare you as much as they do me?! Am so excited but the doubts are there, thinking, will it happen, will it be ok, i want it to happen IMMEDIATLY

OP posts:
DissLocated · 09/12/2005 14:19

Zita West is a new one to me. Last time I confined myself to reading books only when I got pregnant, then I scared myself stupid with Gina Ford! She lasted about 2 mornings on our house before being hurled across the room followed by a torrent of abuse.

littlechristmaself · 09/12/2005 14:26

can i join in am 39 been trying for a year, fed up with waiting every month.

DissLocated · 09/12/2005 14:40

That must be really hard Elf. A friend of mine was the same but she's now about 5 months gone I think. She didn't have any particular reason for it, it just took her a while but I know how hard it was for her while she waited.

IsawPussycatmommakissingsanta · 09/12/2005 14:41

hugs to everyone trying...good luck little elf, maybe this thread will bring you the luck you need?

Gina Ford..YUK!!! She went straight into the fire...I mean that woman doesn't even have Children for Christ's sake!!

puddle · 09/12/2005 15:01

oh, I wish.

DissLocated · 09/12/2005 15:03

It really irritates me that she tells you what to do and when as well as the baby, 'have your toast now', 'wash the bottles now' etc etc

Thanks Gina, but I have successfully timed my own breakfasts for many years now ... grrr

Coriander73 · 09/12/2005 15:06

HERE HERE!!!!!!!!! I sawPussycat...don't even think of going there!!!

beejay · 09/12/2005 15:18
