So here is our new home, hope you all like it!

OP posts:
maybebabyR · 01/09/2011 13:32

Scarlet, that is hilarious. Poor you. Luckily I am ok with spiders!

Imps7 · 01/09/2011 13:37

I did a sneaky wee in a ramekin this morning Maybe and it was a BFN - it's just my body playing silly buggers on me.

I'd love to be okay with spiders - am seriously considering hypnotherapy one day to cure my fear!

CakePigeon · 01/09/2011 13:41

Crikey I hope it isn't an organised spider revolution I'm really scared if spiders!

imps that's great news! Test test test test test test test test test test Grin

CakePigeon · 01/09/2011 13:42

Oh sorry for cross posts imps you could try again tomorrow if no more AF

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 01/09/2011 13:47

Scarlet that story made me laugh so hard DH came over to find out what was going on! (He's really curious about MN and constantly trying to read it over my shoulder!) I do hope it's not an invasion though, because I'm terrified of spiders!!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 01/09/2011 13:50

Imps I'm so sorry AF is playing silly buggers! Really she just needs a good slap!

It may be worth noting that AF was particularly annoying to poor Maybe last month, and yet that was clearly her last visit for a while because now Maybe is just minutes hours away from her BFP confirmation! Clearly this is just AF's particularly annoying way of saying goodbye! Grin This theory is completely based on conclusive scientific fact of course. Ahem.

scarletfingernail · 01/09/2011 13:54

Imps I think you either need to tell AF to bloody well make her mind up or brook no argument with your pee sticks. All these dud ones still out there giving out BFNs when we know that's just not right.

I wish I was not ridiculously terrified of creepy crawlies. I know how stupid it is really when they're so tiny in comparison to me. I just can't bear them.

Especially spiders. Every year they seem to get bigger and we seem to get loads more in our house than other people get. I'm really trying not to pass my phobia onto DS but at the same time I don't want him to be ok with them and then put them in my shoes to freak me out.

Maybe I won't mention testing any more. Enjoy your mojito though, I have a feeling it might be the last one you have for a long time Smile

Solars · 01/09/2011 14:04

Hello everyone

So much to catch up on!

Maybe great to hear your tests have arrived!!!! Looking forward to you testing tomorrow! Oh and you must read To Kill A Mockingbird, you'll love it. I recently watched the movie again, which I really like as it also stars a dashing Gregory Peck!!

Cake I think it is a spider revolution, I too had a huge spider in the house a couple of nights ago, it appeared from underneath the tv stand and came scuttling towards me and stopped right in front of me, I screamed and stood on the sofa, started screaming at my husband but he was fast asleep on the sofa and didn't hear me at all. It was quite late anyway so I left the living room by climbing over the sofa and went into the bedroom, came back 5mins later to get hubby to bed, spider was gone and hubby just laughed at me when I told him what happened, DH wakes up to go to bed but claims to not hear me scream when my life is in peril!!!

Imps that must be so annoying! I feel for you it's awful when AF can't decide whether she's coming or going!

I have some symptoms to add here I hope, I had a really stuffy nose last night and this morning (I know it's definitely not the sniffles as I always get a headache with a cold) and also I dreamt about Bono from U2 last night, nothing saucy just that we were really really good friends!!! hmmm pg symptoms??

CakePigeon · 01/09/2011 14:19

Oh I don't like all this spider talk!

solars good symptoms! I have seen stuffy nose on twoweekwait.com so i think you might have something there. When can we expect your confirmation?

Hope AF stops messing you around imps it is a bit rubbish if she gets your hopes up. Hopefully it will sort itself out soon for you

Solars · 01/09/2011 14:25

Cake I'm not due until next thursday so won't be confirming until at least the saturday after...

farfallarocks · 01/09/2011 14:45

Hi gals! How are you all doing!!

So excited about all the symptoms on here.

Atticus is my favourite name, in fact I would seriously consider it for an actual baby!

We are on CD13 and so far have managed a LOT of SWI. DH seems to be very on board this month after disastrous flop last month.
We had the best weekend with some mates who are younger than us, no babies, lots of dancing and drinking. We actually had a LAUGH for the first time since my MC and it has made me feel a lot more relaxed about this TTC malarky now.

maybebabyR · 01/09/2011 14:52

Farfalla Ot is good to have you back! So pleased you had a nice break, sounds like just what you needed!

Definitely good symptoms Solars

I am in a very strange mood today, all fidgety!

Imps7 · 01/09/2011 14:59

Hooray Farfalla sounds like you're properly back on track! So pleased that OH is feeling more up for it - it sort of helps, doesn't it?!

Maybe I bet you've looked at those tests more than once today!

Solars · 01/09/2011 15:03

Hi Farfalla glad to hear you've had a lovely weekend and feeling more relaxed.

Maybe you're not fidgeting around those tests by any chance??

maybebabyR · 01/09/2011 15:06

I have hidden them in the bathroom. But when I sit on the toilet, they look at me.

farfallarocks · 01/09/2011 15:08

Maybe are you next to test? Very exciting!

imps it has made a huge difference to how I feel about it all. I don;t mind if it does not happen for a while but I mind wasting a whole month! Plus I am feeling unbelievably horny at the moment Blush
Has AF arrived? I have a good feeling about you this month!

farfallarocks · 01/09/2011 15:08

Maybe - do it!

maybebabyR · 01/09/2011 15:11

I'm waiting to see whether AF actually comes today Farfalla If not, I may test in the morning Hmm

Oh, and I get unbelievably horny around ov too Grin

BabySade · 01/09/2011 15:17

Yay for excellent rat smacking Farfalla glad you had such a good weekend

All this talk of spiders is making me feel sick. I have been terrified of them since my mum told me my dad once swallowed one in his sleep yuck. My dog eats spiders, which isn't something I would normally encourage but when I've been home alone I've sent her after the monsters Smile

Imps that's very annoying about AF. Either she is here or she's not. Tell her to sort herself out. I've got a little confession about AF. She started on sat morning but had stopped by Sunday night. Now normally I have a heavy 2 days, bleeding stops for a day or 2 then I get lighter bleeding for another few days. However the first few days where not as heavy as usual & AF hasn't come back yet. I was obviously confused so consulted a pee stick which came back BFN. Anyway I have so far self diagnosed myself to have PCOS, endometriosis & ovarian cysts. Google is evil Angry

A blocked nose is definitely a pregnancy symptom, not so sure dream friendships with celebrities count!

maybebabyR · 01/09/2011 15:21

Oh Baby I too have many syndromes as self diagnosed by Dr Google himself Smile

I am more than sure you are absolutely fine though

farfallarocks · 01/09/2011 15:25

maybe, clever mother nature!

baby that sounds exciting! Google is dangerous. I also diagnosed, insufficient lining, PCOS and premature menopause as well as endo and various other problems.

musicalmrs · 01/09/2011 15:27

Maybe - Potential tesing tomorrow sounds exciting! Typically I'm out most of tomorrow.. will have to check from my phone! :D

Symptoms report... more pink/brown CM (more brown than pink I think) at lunchtime - when wiping as well - quite a lot, so I was quite convinced it could be AF, although surprised by lack of other AF symptoms IYSWIM. But after those two times, it's now stopped! Suspicious... now feeling faint and slightly dizzy. I have a full evening ahead, so that should be fun!

Imps7 · 01/09/2011 15:34

Baby with you on the spiders in your sleep thing. I never believed that spiders would crawl across you at night, but I remember watching Big Brother once (just the once, mind) and they had their night vision camera on in the bedroom when everyone was asleep - lo and behold there was a MASSIVE spider clambering its way across someone's bed! While they were in it! Cue me not being able to sleep for several days and waking up in panic brushing things off me for several days after that.

Still no AF. In a brave move of tempting fate I have removed all pant-based padding! She will definitely put in an appearance now. Have not yet Googled my dodgy AF symptoms yet (of course apart from reading everything I can possibly find about implantation bleeding). Sounds like I must have the same conditions as you Baby!

Musical you will definitely be on the BFP Train this month!! Yaaay!!

musicalmrs · 01/09/2011 15:36

*Potential testing, even. In my dizzied confusion I've lost all ability to type.

I'm keeping hopeful, Imps, but also trying not to get my hopes up too much! Lovely to have you ladies to share it with though, so I don't drive DH too mad. Haven't yet told my best friend, but might have to in the next couple of days so I don't go insane!

Or, rather, any more insane...

maybebabyR · 01/09/2011 15:53

What is she playing at Imps? And you too Musical?

Mine is now more brown than pink, though I still have to go looking for it iykwim Blush

Feeling a bit crampy too, though nothing like normal. So think I am not going to be testing tomorrow after all. But like you said Imps it will be so handy her starting on the 1st!
