Now also, in honour of the Rugby World Cup, we can also take our pick of the strapping, fine-thighed walking sperm banks who will be on display in New Zealand soon. I vote myself to be the tournament's physio and also we can judiciously place a few eager volunteers into the Pit for Gloom purposes. They are so incredibly tough that they are not likely to go the way of Daniel, Cap'n Jack and Mitchell.

Roll up, roll up....baggsy the first go on Jonny Wilkinson.

I hate the pee sticks. They fuel the menkul. Equally I hate it when the droid messes with your brain. There is nothing worse than The Waiting.

I told another vile poster to fuck off. Although I agreed with a small percentage of what she was saying I was so irritated with her attitude. It appears that she is well known for her views. I get irritated quite easily especially when tired and hungover.

I am attempting to stop partying so much now to start preparing for IVF which I think will start early next year. I'd been burying my head in the sand for the past few months about it all but I know I have to do everything I can to maximise my chances. Am going to the library tomorrow to get the Zita West book on it.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/10/2011 06:11

Droid arrived like a thief in the night. Stoopid body playing tricks on me. At least I'm not in limbo any more.

KatAndKit · 31/10/2011 07:41

faith bollocks to the droid. Sending vodka and cake your way.

sunny message deleted! what was the topic? some people need to be told to fuck off anyway, there are some very annoying but persistent idiots out there. Sounds like you don't have long to wait till the IVF although I'm sure its going slower for you. good idea to read up on it I think. The more information you have about something the better.

AuntieDoris · 31/10/2011 07:45

I am so sorry faith :(

CaveMum · 31/10/2011 08:07

Sorry to hear your news faith. This TTC lark can be a total rollercoaster of emotions at times Sad

Can I ask any of you ladies that are on/have used Clomid when you took the tablets? I've not been given any specific directions by my consultant and opinion on the Clomid thread seems to be divided. So do I take tablet in the morning do I can monitor side effects during the day or take it just before bed so that I sleep through the worst of them?
Droid should appear later this week, but then again who knows!

InTheSunshine · 31/10/2011 08:45

Ah faith

Kat it was on chat, some self righteous, pompous cah was going on about how this one woman could imporve her life if she considered getting an au pair and then a job in London leaving her DC's at home & only seeing them at weekends. Some of her advice was right however she had no real grip on reality.

Cave I've never had the joy of clomid but I'm sure someone who has will be along soon....

blonderedhead · 31/10/2011 09:13

Sorry Faith. I was there the other day, droid late but just teasing me with hope. At least you can have some gin, or heroin, whatever your preferred tipple.

I still have a hangover from Saturday night & have to go to work soon. Instead of sleeping it off yesterday went to see a play and did some top celeb spotting, actual Benedict Cumberbatch off of being Sherlock Holmes and that nice Chris O'Dowd off of the IT Crowd. Companion and I nearly tripped over our own tongues. Poor Husband less impressed.

AlpinePony · 31/10/2011 09:25

sunshine sounds like you've met xenia! ;) yes, most of the stuff she says is spot on, however she got her education, her house and her children's education during the biggest debt-fueled debt boom in history. Some scumbags (e.g., me) are quite clever but earn less than 50k, never want to live in London and in addition was born 10 years too late.

She's supposed to be an inspirational speaker to watch though and I wish she'd help me out with some (sensible) direction/career advice before I end up working in lidl.

AlpinePony · 31/10/2011 09:27

PS faith that's massively shit.

PPS the IT crowd is brilliant - no tv show will ever surpass the 'work outing' episode.

Ariesgirl · 31/10/2011 10:02

Very sorry to see that faith :(

PS SunnyD, there's no doubt that she (the poster you and alps mentioned) has an excellent work ethic and has achieved a lot through hard slog. The thing I take issue with is that she doesn't acknowledge that sometimes people don't have the opportunities she had at the right stage of their lives e.g. it's not a mere question of "choosing" to be a lawyer or a cleaner.

Grin at palmy
Thanks for the gin BESHes, I'm pished!
By no means the worst droidal visit ever thanks to deep heat patches and co-codamol.

AuntieDoris · 31/10/2011 13:22

I have discovered wheat bags, co-codamol and Feminax Ultra really work a treat!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/10/2011 13:55

Can't do antiinflammatories :( do have a wheat bag at home and the stick.on patches at work :)

CaveMum · 31/10/2011 15:24

Palmster Newmarket Wink

My motto when it comes to gin (or any alcohol for that matter) is that the sun's always over the yardarm somewhere in the world Wink

KatAndKit · 31/10/2011 15:44

That's like my saying of "it's always six o clock somewhere"! And is too true.

InTheSunshine · 31/10/2011 19:16

Fundamentally Rie & Alps I agreed with much she said. It was just totally the wrong place to say it. I need to step away from that thread now though as it's just irritating me.

I find chamomile tea really helps my period pain

LP I know what you're saying about behaviours. I find more & more that I am turning into my mother.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/10/2011 20:20

I luff my wheat bag right now :)

MadameBoo · 31/10/2011 20:24

It's my wedding anniversary and I have had M&S dine in for a tenner with some Wine. Cheers BESHwimminz

Droid due tomorrow and I have the usual aching boobs and twingey womble which I am pretending are signs of a baybee with my usual futile optimism (unless that's an oxymoron).

LauraPalmer · 31/10/2011 21:12

Happy Anniversary!

Just started the whole 2ww. Anyone joining me? I feel so foolish ly hopeful everytime. At least I got a load of really great sechs this month.

Praytell, what is a wheat bag???

MadameBoo · 31/10/2011 22:22

Isn't a wheat bag a fabulous thing that you put in the microwave to heat up and then hold it next to your aching womble in a soothing style.

I am at the end of my 2woofling LozzaP but I think it will end in a woosh of red on the morrow. Or in the middle of the night.

blonderedhead · 01/11/2011 00:30

'appy anniversary Boo! Hoping your droid stays away and your womble blooms with fecundity. How many years?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 01/11/2011 07:00

Yes indeed wheat bag is a bag of wheat you heat in the microwave. Somehow far superior to hot water bottle. Dad's laydee friend gave it to me as a Christmas present. We don't get on very well but for that gift I will be eternally grateful. Only way I can tolerate wheat.
Happy anniversary Boo hope it was luffly.
Now, would someone get up and go to work for me? I feel crappy.
