Now also, in honour of the Rugby World Cup, we can also take our pick of the strapping, fine-thighed walking sperm banks who will be on display in New Zealand soon. I vote myself to be the tournament's physio and also we can judiciously place a few eager volunteers into the Pit for Gloom purposes. They are so incredibly tough that they are not likely to go the way of Daniel, Cap'n Jack and Mitchell.

Roll up, roll up....baggsy the first go on Jonny Wilkinson.

Bugs I'm crying actual tears of excitement for you - huge well done! What you describe feeling is totally normal (well its how I felt anyway). Nah, it doesn't hurt a jot Hmm. Its bloody marvellous.

So Faith not sure we've met, but sounds like we could be on for a cluster of ESH baybees? Good luck for this eve test.

KatAndKit · 28/10/2011 13:32

Make sure you harass the quack in a couple of weeks time so they do actually make you a midwife appointment for week 8-10 though.
Don't worry about the drugs especially if it is just a couple of Nurofen or something. Not much gets through at that early stage as you haven't grown a placenta yet.

It won't hurt, you will just do a big sneeze one day.

you will spend the next few weeks checking every time you go to the toilet. it's just one of those things I'm afraid. Hopefully once you get past the next week or so you'll relax about it.

Remember that once you have seen those lovely little lines you have an 80% chance at least of having your baybee in 8 months time. That is a nice comforting statistic amidst all of the menkulling.

you are allowed to be me me me! It is your big me me me day is it not? Menkulling is normal. The 8 week wait for your 12 week scan is much much worse than the 2ww.

AlpinePony · 28/10/2011 14:32

Wot kat said, you will still keep checking your gusset for ages. With bear I was still checking at 20 weeks.

Wrt medications, pls not to worry, right now your BOC (bundle of cells) is completely independent of you and is not sharing your blood. You can have a guilt free glass of champers with nurofen chaser. I got bfp this time sat morning and sun evening/night had chronic v&d. Baybee boy is fine.

As for symptoms, they usually kick in around 5-7 weeks with morning sickness. Enjoy the next 10 days because you're about to start feeling rough! ;)

The being run down before a bfp is not unheard of either. Well done! :)

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 28/10/2011 16:43

so come home. Poas. Bfn but no Droid either. So jury's out. Worth noting I have peed 273 times this afternoon.
Will test in the morning as planned before BESH peer pressure got the better of me!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 28/10/2011 16:48

Re S club's Reach the first 'Reach' of the chorus. See foot flicky. I also did the spin.

The boobies will feel a bit swollen at first. For some they stay like that. Mine calmed down at 5-6 weeks and are only just threatening to bother me again. I'm still wearing my normal bras.
I'd hang off on spending lots on new bras in case your boobs then grow another cup size after you have forked out 25 quid. Up to 3 months you might be ok in your normal bra, or a cheapo one one cup size larger.

Ridiculous. I was just peeing and remembered that I'm supposed to do the daily OPK, so tried to stop mid-stream and finish into my official Pee Test Jar...and managed to pee all over myself. And my panties. And now the OP line isn't as dark as it was yesterday.

Does the 'Do It Now' all-important 2nd pink line only show up once? I'm all new to this ovulation detection business. I've only been testing 2 weeks but have already managed to go through 30+ tests. Sweet Jeebus. Help.

yes for me the do-it-now line only shows up once. 30+ tests?! What are you doing? My average usage is about 10-15 per month and that is doing them twice a day.

Also if you had the do it now line yesterday, then yesterday and today are the prime shagging days. Get thee back to bed. Does your man go in for "watersports", seeing as you have been practising fun with piss this afternoon?!

AlpinePony · 28/10/2011 18:16

Laura I've never had a positive OPK stick but I am now on my second ESH baybee... make of that what you will. I'm a fan of the Shag Dictator these days (CBDM).

AlpinePony · 28/10/2011 18:18

CBFM? i don't know what I'm talking about. POINT OF ORDER!

LauraPalmer · 28/10/2011 18:43

I know, I know Kat, it's overkill. But since I haven't been coming up with any BFPs I'm quite thrilled at the prospect of getting positive OPK lines. Basically I've been doing about 3 per day. "Maybe it was too early...I'll do another one." Or, "Was that a proper pink line? Better test again." And the most common version: "Well, that one won't be accurate since I just drank half my body weight in wine, I better test again later tonight."

I'm a junkie.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 28/10/2011 20:13

Surreptitious BESH update. I'm on a work night out. I'm driving -cos of the diet. No Droid...yet.
