Now also, in honour of the Rugby World Cup, we can also take our pick of the strapping, fine-thighed walking sperm banks who will be on display in New Zealand soon. I vote myself to be the tournament's physio and also we can judiciously place a few eager volunteers into the Pit for Gloom purposes. They are so incredibly tough that they are not likely to go the way of Daniel, Cap'n Jack and Mitchell.

Roll up, roll up....baggsy the first go on Jonny Wilkinson.

EWCM often comes before ovulation though. Ovulating on day 8 would give you a 24 day cycle at the absolute most. How many days are you up to this month? it is all sounding very optimistic though if you have done lots of sechs and had ewcm. But don't feed the test-monster too early!

Working harder, not smarter at the moment. Will catch up properly after looming production deadline. (or in the morning when I want to avoid the dreaded To Do List.)

MeMeMe side note: Pleased to tell you I took BESH advice and forked out for some IC OPKs...will commence daily POAS tomorrow.

Laura Pass me the gin, I didn't see no BFP yet. And after two years I don't hold out the highest hope. Gin all the way (yes, even at this time of the morning and just before work).

InTheSunshine · 18/10/2011 13:20

Life would be infinitely more exciting if we all drank gin before work.

AuntieDoris · 18/10/2011 16:00

Gin at any time is good for me.

I had to go and visit the Sexual Health Clinic today as part of our referral to the Fertility Specialists. I was just chatting away to the nurse, expecting a blood test, but had not anticipated having to have an internal examination! I think I chatted all the way through the procedure so i didn't have to think about what she was doing rummaging away down there!

Fucking stupid stick. Arsewipes to that. Making an appointment will at least make you feel like you can be a little bit proactive in the process perhaps. I think Rie has taken a break from beshing before, it isn't anything personal I wouldn't expect. It can just get a bit all-consuming if you focus on it too much, and depressing too.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 19/10/2011 06:57

Pee sticks are stoopid. I've only ever found one who agreed with me! It does drive you crackers at times, all this ttc malarky.
I have to get up in the next five minutes but can't be arsed
Anyone fancy going to work for me? Or could I just have some of the gin that's being passed round?

MadameBoo · 19/10/2011 09:30

I like to mention her Rieal highness in case she is lurking. So I shall still name drop her from time to time.

eurochick · 19/10/2011 13:01

The Droid ran me over.

Sigh

On to cycle 12. WTF IS WRONG WITH MY LAYDEE BITS? WHY WON'T A BAYBEE STICK TO MY TEFLON WOMB? DOES ANYONE THINK I HAVE A TOUCH OF PMT????

Ahem.

13 (I think!) for us now.

Bollocks innit?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 19/10/2011 19:50

If this is an infertility game, bingo! 22 months. Lost track of cycles but I reckon it's 23....

I wear a mooncup, and I'm a feminist bugger. I haven't looked at your fred yet though.

We have been trying for number 2 for 22 months now.

My laptop is playing up so I'm going to be sporadic around here for a while.

I am a mooncup convert too.

My cup overfloweth today though. I am having the heaviest period I have had in a long time. It's a wonder I don't look like a dried out old prune with all this liquid draining out of me. It's properly vile.

That reminds me, had better go and take my iron tablet.

And then eat something to ease the constipation.

Isn't it glamorous being a woman, eh?

MadameBoo · 20/10/2011 21:52

I wear a pad at night for the first night though. But I do love my mooncup. I save all my menstrual blood for rituals so it's very useful.
