I'd say that cd 8 was probably too early for ovulation but all sorts have been going on with your cycle so stranger things have happened. Are you doing any sort of ovulation testing yet? I have no knowledge of fange pains either but I think it is probably unrelated to ovulation. CD 15 is very early for boobache.

I reckon you would be best off trying out the well cheapo range of ovulation tests. Even if you have a long and irregular cycle they are so cheap you can piss on them without guilt.

bugger I've conceived twice on CD8. Or at least done The Sechs on day 8 which has led to conception. I OV early - CD10-12 and the swimmers (in our case) nneed 48 hours to navigate my dusty tubes. If we'd waited until my egg popped it would've been nowt but dust by the time they got there.

I really would recommend getting a hold of a Shag Dictator to see if you are ov'ing early. Mine didn't make me pregnant, but it did confirm my suspicions that I OV early.

bugs, pm me your address and I will loan you my shag dictator for as long as you need it. It really does help to pinpoint the right days. Ov testing does the same thing, but as pone says, if you wait until the egg is coming out, the swimmers might not make it in time. The Shag Dictator allows to to cover both bases.

I get EWCM sometimes about 3/4 days before I ov. So seeing it on CD8 might not mean that you are ovving that early.

That is exactly what it is there for. It acts as a sort of ladder to them so they can get into the cervix and it has nutrients in it (like semen does) to sustain them on their travels.

Exactly. Producing it on the actual day you ov would be mother nature working against itself. Unless your tubes are 2cm long and your partner's swimmers Olympiads.

That's a good idea. The Shag dictator recommends you use it after 3 cycles. It will still be waiting in my top drawer so just say when you are ready, although hopefully you will not get to that point.
