Just logged on to see how it went AandR. I'm so sorry. That is utterly, utterly crap. :(

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 30/09/2011 11:45

Oh god I am so sorry aandr Sad Sad. I was so hoping for a happy outcome today. Is there any chance things could change? Big (((hugs))) lovely xxx

Freezingmyarseoff · 30/09/2011 11:58

Oh AandR Sad I'm so sorry to hear this. How devastating for you. Bug hug for you

digitalgirl · 30/09/2011 11:59

Oh no AandR Sad - I'm so sorry to hear that. So horribly unfair. Will you stop taking the progesterone now? What else were you on - aspirin? Are there any more tests you could have done to find out what's causing this? I'm really very sorry Sad

CollieandPup · 30/09/2011 12:34

Oh A&R I am so terribly sorry Sad its shit shit shit!! Why did she seem so certain it was not viable (sorry i hate that word)? 3.6mm doesn't sound too far out? How far do you think you should be? 6 weeks ish? Despertaley hoping she is wrong. 2 weeks is a long wait, can they not see you sooner? xxxxx

MissTinaTeaspoon · 30/09/2011 12:55

AandR I'm so so sorry Sad. I hope that you've got plenty of rl support right now and that you are able to take things easy for a while xxxx

Remind me, what investigations have you had?

You are in my thoughts xxx

Youremindmeofthebabe · 30/09/2011 12:56

Oh aandr I'm so vey sorry to hear that. There are no words to describe how shitty that is. And this 2 week wait is horrible, I'm sorry you have to go through this again xx

AandRMum · 30/09/2011 14:45

Thanks Am fine at the moment - always takes me a bit to process things and I guess I had prepared for the worst. I think the two weeks is mainly to see if it will happen naturally and to assuage a slight amount of uncertainty. I am fine about the wait at the moment but if it becomes too much, I may ask for another scan earlier just to confirm. I am not keen for another ERPC though. Fx . She says she can recommend me to St Mary's at Paddington but seemed doubtful as to whether they can help. Could someone give me Dr S's details? I will see if I can get on his waiting list. I have only had the normal rmc tests which have all been normal. I have a thyroid cyst but it doesn't affect my thyroid function. I have been feeling crap so had hoped it was ok but obviously there is an issue. I am not sure why she was certain - the scan is so blurry it was hard to define anything other than the sac and yolk but she expected pulsations?! I am 7w by last af but 6+4 based on the last scan and when I ov ...

digitalgirl · 30/09/2011 15:10

Have pm'ed you AandR

Was it an external scan you had? Am wondering why they're not recommending another scan next week.

SmileyGirl1 · 30/09/2011 17:28

Thanks AandRMum - you are def right re the wtf cycle. I got a pos opk on thur v early morning so we had some baby dancing but then myself and DD were on a planned trip to my family. DH arrives in the morning, not sure if it's worth BD again, time has probably passed although I dunno maybe it's worth another try. I just feel a bit down like it's realistically not going to happen this month even though I'd desperately love it to.

Thanks Izzy. Hope your DD is better?

Welcome Twittwoo I'm new here myslf!

Welcome confu3ed

Hi Itsabear how are you feeling now? You are having such a rough time of it. Thinking of you for your scan next week.

Congrats Ladym - FANTASTIC news1!!

Awh AandR I just saw your more recent post, i'm so so so sorry to hear your news. I hope you have lots of RL support, that's so incredibly tough. So so sorry.

TomboyWife · 30/09/2011 23:03

So sorry AandR. Sad Life can be so incredibly unfair sometimes. Thinking of you.

Twittwooo · 01/10/2011 07:10

So sorry to hear your news AandR, you must be going through such a tough time. I hope you're getting all the support you need. Thinking of you.

Velvetcu · 01/10/2011 10:32

AandR I'm so sorry to hear that, it really is shit. Sad Sad

LadyMaybe · 01/10/2011 20:08

Oh AandR I'm so sorry to see this news, I'm a bit confused as to why the dr was so sure though - 3.6 is about right for 6+3/6+4, I can't link on the phone but try having a look at www.baby2see.com - they shouldn't diagnose non- viable unless it's reached 5mm without seeing heartbeat, or you see no more growth in the follow-up scan. Could you book a private one a bit earlier to see if things are progressing? Two weeks is a long time to wait. Oh you poor thing, so unfair. Take as easy as possible.

mousebacon · 01/10/2011 21:43
