Now as I've said to the others - you can just pretend you're still on your 2ww for the next few weeks. It really helped me minimise the mentalling. So so pleased for you!

Mentalling as you know is mandatory. Tbh I found it easier when I didn't try to fight it and just accepted I was going to be worried about it. Denial is a good way to go at the start though!

aandr hope you're ok today. I also don't understand why the sonographer was quite so pessimistic - ok so it wasn't conclusively good but had definitely grown so why conclusively bad? Could you get a private scan, say, after a week? X

OK... a cb digi says 2-3 weeks and I'm not even due af until Tuesday! So smily today. Have decided to go by the mantra 'today I am pregnant'

I am ok at the moment. Thanks for all the positive thoughts. I figured it was strange as well as I have read about the whole 5mm thing. I just want it to be one way or the other really. My body stills seems to think it is pregnant. I have felt rotten all weekend but not so rotten today so I keep flicking back and forth. Oh well at least if I wait the two weeks we will know for certain and things may sort themselves out on their own. I will see how I go - I think if I pushed it they would let me have a scan earlier.

Oh and thanks digi for the pm. I wonder how long the waiting list is for Dr S on the NHS?

And I've got news of my own too... Yep, got a BFP a few weeks ago... Off for the 'check it's not ectopic' scan tomorrow... will be 7 weeks on Wed...

Sorry to have not been around. I needed a break from everything, but I'm getting so nervous for tomorrow that I felt I needed you all...

how lovely! congratulations knitter good luck with your scan tomorrow! Completely understand you needing a break...we're here to hold your hand as and when.

AandR I think the NHS waiting list might have been about 4-6 months for some of the ladies on the ttc/pg with pred thread, which depending on how you feel about resuming ttc may be enough time to have a break. I'm still with the others on wondering why the sonographer seems to be jumping to conclusion. If it helps get you out of limbo I would definitely push for another scan this week rather than waiting till next week.

AandR, could you go somewhere different for a follow up scan maybe? To get a different opinion?

My very odd period appears to have been shorter than normal...it was really painful for days and just seemed abnormal. I'm wondering if an egg got fertilised and never produced enough hcg to give me a positive test or maintain a pregnancy. Obviously I've got no 'proof' so no justification for asking for any investigations. I guess it's time to get going again for the month. I'm worn out though! Why is it taking so b**y long?!
