Tina looks promising!! And CD 32 too!!! Rubbish for bfn yesterday though, what did you use? Any other symptoms?

nice to hear from you

Hope all our newly updiffed people are not metalling too much doing ok!

Lots of good news on the grads thread recently from some old post mc ttc thread people, incase some of you would like to know but don't lurk. Smile

MissTinaTeaspoon · 28/09/2011 08:13

They were superdrug sensitive tests (meant to be as good as fr). I never thought I would actually wish for my period whilst tcc!

CollieandPup · 28/09/2011 08:14

Xposts Tina. Its so easy to think the worst, even though they are such unlikely possibilities. Especially when you've had your share of disappointment and raised hopes. The spotting doesn't mean you're out at all, and can be a good sign, but I know its not the first time you've had it. I'd convinced myself that my pg was ectopic when I got my bfp, it just seems easy to to think that, than that it might actually go right, which is logically the most likely senario

X

Loup23 · 28/09/2011 10:06

Have been AWOL for a while and trying to catch up but checking in to see how tina is getting on - any news? I have mid cycle spotting and am v prone to spotting during 2ww but the month I got BFP (feb) my chart looked liked yours so I'm holding out hope......

Waves to all others - CD9 here and getting high readings on my monitor already, so frustrating Angry

LadyMaybe · 28/09/2011 10:49

Hmm, ok I've had a look at your chart and I think it's possible you didn't actually ovulate until day 17. I know the temps look clear by that's the last day you have ewcm, and the day before your cervix changed. That also puts your peak post-o temp at 7dpo which would tally with peak progesterone, and would put you at 14dpo now. I really hope that climb back up continues and you get your bfp. Shouldn't be long now missTina, chin up.

Hi lily hope these next few weeks go easy for you as you wait for the appt to arrive.

Sorry for a short one today feeling a bit pathetic and wishy-washy and just want to hide under covers.

MissTinaTeaspoon · 28/09/2011 11:06

Thanks lady, collie and loup. I just don't know what to think really! I'll go to the gp on Monday if things aren't clearer, and maybe retest in a few days.

Hope you manage to get some rest lady and have a good evening loup Wink

MissTinaTeaspoon · 28/09/2011 11:30

Ok, cb digis ordered off amazon. If that doesn't tempt af to come out of hiding nothing will!

Youremindmeofthebabe · 28/09/2011 14:42

Hello!

tina How frustrating. I must admit that what ladybee said crossed my mind when I looked at your chart, and I know that my EWCM didn't always coincide with ov Have you tried the ov sticks? I might have some left over if you want to PM me your address.

izz how's DD? We did have a vomiting incident with DS and nearly had a day off school with him, but sent him in the end. No 48hr policy here, or certainly none I was aware of. However, apparently all of reception had a vomiting bug over the first 2 weeks, so maybe one should be in place!

All's well over here, lots of work to do, but obviously I am spending as much time as possible avoiding all work, and procrastinating. Really, I need to get my arse in gear. I've got so much on and have an assignment due 2 days after baby's due date which I should complete well before xmas to be on the safe side.

In other news I have started my Xmas shopping! Proud and disturbed by this fact..

Waves to all, twittwoo, ladym, aandr, loup, tomboy, freezing, battery, mouse collie and blackcat Also a huge squishy hug for lily ((0))

MissTinaTeaspoon · 28/09/2011 15:00

Thanks yrmotb. I used to use opks but went onto charting to save money, I was spending a fortune! The spotting is getting a bit heavier so fx things are normalising! I'm so relieved that I don't even mind not being pregnant Hmm! And at least I can treat myself to some Wine Smile. Also my fanjo swabs from last week came back normal Smile

AandRMum · 28/09/2011 15:01

Hi All - chin up LadyM at least you are heading into Summer. We are having a late spurt of pretend summer before we are plunged into darkness! Good luck for your scan tomorrow. What time is it?

Tina no helpful chart info from me but a tight squeeze as I know how horrible the scenarios can get in your mind. Hang in there - hopefully LadyMs theory holds up and if not then your af is suitably chastened and arrives pronto!

Impressive YRMOTB - we have numerous birthdays between now and Christmas - I never end up starting until mid Dec - which is not advisable!

Waves to all

LadyMaybe · 28/09/2011 20:37

Hi my scan is at 1pm - and i'm truly bricking it. Symptoms changed recently, more hunger less quease, and I'm trying to steel myself for the 'I'm sorry'. Also, because I measured quite far ahead last time, iota going to be a bit tricky knowing whether development is ok - could grow only a mm or two and be fine for dates but I'll worry about slowing rate. Anyway, just got to suck it up and see what the result is. Fingers crossed.

MissTinaTeaspoon · 28/09/2011 20:53

Good luck for scan lady. if it's 1pm for you what time is that here?

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 28/09/2011 21:00

Good luck ladymb - got everything crossed for you!

aandr how are you doing? Hope the week's not dragging too much x

LadyMaybe · 28/09/2011 21:00

1 AM for you Smile

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 28/09/2011 21:01

And Tina - I'm still hopeful. I always get spotting before a bfp Smile

MissTinaTeaspoon · 28/09/2011 21:20

Good luck to you too for tomorrow AandR xxx

izzy thanks (again!) for the optimism but it's over for this month. Acupuncture tomorrow, I'm hoping I don't need weekly sessions because I cant afford it

confu3ed · 28/09/2011 21:22

Hello ladies, could do with some company on my bumpy TTC ride after 2 RMC. Had a break from it all for about 8 months and now back on clomid and the roller coaster that is TTC! Any tips on staying sane would be much appreciated!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 28/09/2011 21:25

Tina my acupuncturist used to treat two people (in separate rooms!) at the same time. It worked better than you'd think; she would talk to me and get the acu going then leave me chilling while her other client arrived, come back to me while they were relaxing in a state of pincushion-ness. However the real bonus of the arrangement was that it was only £20 instead of £40. Are there any near you that might do this kind of deal? It made it a lot more affordable!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 28/09/2011 21:26

X-posts confu3ed - welcome! Smile

confu3ed · 28/09/2011 21:28

Thanks IzzyWizzy. I have heard great things about acupuncture and £20 is amazing!

MissTinaTeaspoon · 28/09/2011 21:36

My session is £65! It was recommended to me though so that's why I chose them. The following sessions are £48. Sounds like you got a bargain izzy.

Welcome to confused, pull up a chair and get comfy x

confu3ed · 28/09/2011 21:46

Thank you MissTina, armchair all ready! x

TomboyWife · 28/09/2011 21:52

Evening ladies!

Fx for good scan news LadyMaybe and (I think?) AandR. Try not to brick it too much.

And welcome to confu3ed, it's a very friendly thread.

Tina sorry you're out for the month. Sad

So, I guess I should be ov'ing round about now, but the CM hasn't been terribly clear and I've been so distracted with other stuff I've lost count of my CD. But I've just had a right pop at DH over something that was annoying but not all that annoying. That was the absolute first symptom last time round... Hmm

Freezingmyarseoff · 28/09/2011 22:02

Tina sorry you're out this month, but glad that you relieved that your body is working properly. Shock at the acupuncture prices. Don't know what to suggest as I don't know much about acupuncture. Could you ask for a discount?

LadyM Really wishing you all the best for your scan.

YRMOTB you're freaking me out abit at your organisation Grin

Welcome Confu3ed sorry you're here.

I think I've finally succumbed to DD's cold so I'm off to bed to try and beat it. night all

itsabear · 28/09/2011 22:12

I've been away from the board for a while as have had a series of catastrophes...in a nutshell: back to work, leaking radiator in spare room, broken boiler, brother in bike accident. With 2mcs to boot it is definitely our annus horribilis! First full day at work today followed late finish due to event and then 2 hours to settle DD who decided she would not go to sleep. Ugh.

Good luck for your scans LadyMaybe and AandR.

Sorry you're out Tina. Let us know how the acu goes. I've just contacted an acupuncturist local to me who specialises in fertility acu...£50 first session than £40 after that. She recommends weekly....(quickly remortgages house).

Congrats Twittoo. That's fantastic news. I can see why you would cancel the interview. You had every right not to cancel - people do it all the time - but if you are the kind of person who ends up feeling v guilty it wouldn't be worth it.

Welcome to the newbies. Sorry you've had to go through such a horrible thing. I'm not sure sanity is an option confu3ed...

It's 4 weeks today since I had the medical management and I still haven't had a negative test. Will test tomorrow and ring EPU and demand a scan if still positive. Have been having a lot of cramps and am stressing out that this means there is something left. Hopefully it's just AF and my body getting back to normal.

Whinge alert.....2 mcs in 4 months has left me feeling so fat. I was going to the gym loads before and then had to take 6 weeks off with the last mc. I suppose it's oestrogen plus some serious wholenut consumption when comfort eating. It's adding to my general bad mood. Whinge over!

My blood test results came back normal today. I think they tested me for all vits, full blood count etc plus lupus and the blood clotting thing? Or are they the same? Feel very ignorant for not knowing exactly. However, it's all fine so I guess I just have to go with the 'unlucky' reasoning.

Hi to everyone I've missed. x
