New thread, hopefully not clashing with another new thread! This Is Our Month, Rat Smackers.

Who's that chewing gum at the back of the class?

Right, to be honest we didn't do much different this month. DHs SA from May came back a lot better than his Feb one so that probably helped. Also it was my second cycle after my HSG x-ray doodah which is supposed to help things for 3 mths or so.

The only other thing which I had read on here was about having pineapple in the 2ww so I did get a carton of pineapple juice in that time. Dubious as to whether it would make much difference but I like pineapple juice anyway.

We have been using a Duofertility monitor but not sure it actually helped much as it changed it's mind this month as to when I ovulated, and in fact as it had been telling me for 6 days I had already ov'd we had almost stopped SWI so lucky we didn't stop!

Umm other than that? See a rat? Smack it!!

Class dismissed!

First response acquired and primed ready for action tomorrow morning. xx

Biscuitsandtea · 25/07/2011 13:59

Oh, and Maybe I have felt crampy too for days. And I have a BFP to show for it Wink xx

maybebabyR · 25/07/2011 14:04

Thanks Biscuits Cramps are nothing like they are normally, am normally doubled over with them. Just thinking that is she is going to arrive, I would rather her do it sooner than later Smile

Cannot wait to see results from FR tomorrow, even though we all know what it is going to say Grin

GenericDietCola · 25/07/2011 14:04

What did DH do to improve his swimmers? My DH has never had a SA, but any subtle things I can do/encourage him to do can't hurt can they?

'See a rat? Smack it!' is my new favourite quote!

Oh thank you ninja - I'm sure I can get some of those down him without drawing too much attention to it (he likes to think we are 'not not trying' rather than think about ttc too much if you see what I mean)

Biscuitsandtea · 25/07/2011 14:29

He started taking the (male bit obv) of the pregnacare conception his n hers. I think there are probably more cost effective ways to get the same supplements but I didn't know any better.Blush

i know exactly what you mean generic, I think vitamin E helps too.

I'm so tired I nearly fell asleep playing with ds just now. That got to be a sign right? I've packed him off for a snooze after his calpol as he was getting hot and starting to babble again and I might just join him shortly. I shall feel decadent if I manage an afternoon snooze, haven't done that in years!

Imps7 · 25/07/2011 14:35

Very much looking forward to the final confirmation tomorrow morning. Yay!

Maybe don't let those cramps stress you out - they mean nothing bad, nothing bad you hear me, without associated monthly gestational bleeding. Don't give up hope!! WHAT DO YOU WANT?? AND WHEN DO YOU WANT IT????

I think I may have put earlier that I am on CD 6 - I meant 6 DPO. Still a good 9/10 days until testing day - which is a bugger as I am away from Friday to Tuesday on a massive drinking weekend for a long weekends with friends, which includes a wedding on the Saturday. It would be great to know either way before then, but little baby Fedex has never been one for good timing.

GenericDietCola · 25/07/2011 14:44

< notes down tips from Biscuits and Ninja >

Ninja remind us when you will be confirming? I hope your DS feels better soon and enjoy your afternoon nap.

Imps perfect timing for an ironic post- alcohol binge wedding celebration BFP. Come on baby Fedex!

maybebabyR · 25/07/2011 14:50

Thanks Imps

I too am at a wedding on Saturday, and am really really hoping that I can be smug in the knowledge that minimaybe will be making an appearance in 9 months Hmm

Afternoon nap sounds lovely Ninja I really want one too, but have to go GPs Sad

NinjaChipmunk · 25/07/2011 14:51

I'm due sat or sun but have outlaws down from friday so a little undecided at the moment! Plus i have no pee sticks. I should probably pop onto amazon before I settle down for snooze.

jaggythistle · 25/07/2011 14:52

i had cramps when i was pg too, i get excited every month until they turn out to be Wrong cramps. hope yours are the right ones maybe!

thanks for the lesson biscuits < Blush because i missed it after depositing DS in his cot and stuffing down some lunch. >

are pregnacare manly tablets zincier than ordinary multivitamins? DH already has those. he has been banned from the bath for 2 or 3 months already. he takes them really hot you see...Blush don't worry, he smells ok as i do allow showers!

i do think he drinks a bit much on occasion, have been trying to suggest cutting down. pretty sure we both cut down when DS was conceived.

GenericDietCola · 25/07/2011 14:53

Ah yes I remember now, it's the birthday weekend isn't it? I hope you manage to order the nice variety of pee sticks rather than the naughty ones.

Maybe you have not been practising that smug look for no reason - I just know you are getting some good news on Thursday.

NinjaChipmunk · 25/07/2011 14:56

I've been trying to get dp to cut down on booze but doesn't seem to work.....or at least it does for about a week then the strong coffees and red wine seem to make a reappearance. But I don't recall him cutting down last time either?

NinjaChipmunk · 25/07/2011 14:57

with a wedding to go to maybe the timing couldn't be worse so of course you are pregnant!

jaggythistle · 25/07/2011 15:07

i know I cut down last time, i was trying to lose weight as well. i think i almost stopped drinking at all actually. i can't remember 2008 that well so maybe DH did just look at me like this Hmm and carry on.

there were more days in the week when we had wine than not then so it was a good thing!

it wasn't for long though, got pg second month of trying, I'm guessing coming off the pill helped more.

I'm just looking for plan x now for this month. have tried SWI every day, every other day, preseed, not SWI for a few days before ov etc etc.

actually, maybe i should just stick with 'see a rat, smack it!' as i may be over thinking...
