New thread, hopefully not clashing with another new thread! This Is Our Month, Rat Smackers.

Ooooh thelittlefried I really hope so!
I had some bizarre dreams - very vivid, very weird when I was pregnant.

Zita - I have not been to her clinic or owt like that.
She does a line is premium, expensive vits which lots of people swear by.
Her book is quite good, I have dipped into it and she seems to do a bit woo stuff as well at the clinic - nutrition, accupuncture, visualisation.
This conception lark is so finely tuned and balanced I think there is probably a lot to be said the little bit woo approach!
If there is something medically wrong she refers you I believe and I assume she has good contacts.

I also downloaded the Natal hypotherapy prepare to conceive CD onto my IPOD. I did not actually get to listen it as DH kept on talking on the sun longer and wanting to go for a swim, lunch, a coffee and every time you are interrupted you have to start from the beginning!!!

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/07/2011 14:12

Hmm having had the hsg which hurt like mad really was very uncomfortable but only for about 1 minute I'm rather nervous about how good I'll be in labour!
Think I'll stick with visualising the sperm swimming up to the egg...
Talk about lady of leisure DH has gone off to work and I'm doing nothing! watching crap tv, on here and FB. Really should tidy or something....

farfallarocks · 20/07/2011 14:15

See, nesting instinct kicking in already.

maybebabyR · 20/07/2011 14:26

I've come home from work early. Can I class this as exhaustion and nesting?

You will be great in labour Have and you get a nice bundle at the end of it.

My dreams have been freaking me out the last few days, which isn't good, as DH is on nights, and I keep waking up in a panic. And then I need to pee, and I get creeped out by the bathroom.... God, I hope I really am actually properly pregnant and not just losing my marbles Hmm

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/07/2011 14:44

Oh cringe I bought birthday invites. Finally.sat down to write them and they have a grammatical error! 'Your invited to a party'?! stupid cheapo JTF invites. I can't send them. I just can't!

scarletfingernail · 20/07/2011 14:48

Good to hear your hsg went ok have. Smarts a bit doesn't it. I can remember thinking how painful it was at the time. Fast forward 10 months to pushing a baby out of my fanjo and I realised that uncomfortable was a more reasonable description for the hsg. That is so going to be you in 10 months time too Grin The hsg is just preparing you for your iminent childbirth.

DC3 for me today. Feeling a bit miserable, I should have been giving birth to one of my MCd babies this week and I really believed I'd be pg again by now Sad

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/07/2011 16:22

Yes scarlet smarts is the best word. Still got crampy pain but managed to do a bit round the house.
It must be tough around this time, I can't really imagine but you have our ongoing support. I know what you mean I thought I'd have my baby by now not not even pregnant yet. Wait positive thread, my apologies. Yes it has been a thigh road so far but our bfps are just around the corner!

Scarlet this week must be very tough for you. As Have says, you have our support Smile

Have I would be the same with the invites. It would bug me, even if no one else noticed!

I feel all out of positivity today. Feel as though I am just waiting for the inevitable, and will be back at square one again next week.

scarletfingernail · 20/07/2011 16:32

Meant CD3 of course!

MooseCakey · 20/07/2011 17:30

Chin up maybe, now you have your fertility doll you'll be fine. When's af due?

farfallarocks · 20/07/2011 17:56

Come on girls (adopts drill sergeant tone) this is NOT ON AT ALL.
We are all updiffed, tempting fate all over the shop, OK?? OK??
Fertility doll with definitely help you, ya hear me?

Right, I am off to a Zumba class, followed by a lot of wine, just want the little Zygote needs.

farfallarocks · 20/07/2011 17:56

what even, see baby brain

maybebabyR · 20/07/2011 18:32

Thanks Farfalla and Moose I would love some wine, but I mustn't. I hate being on a diet. I have spent most of the afternoon fantasizing about all the things I will be able to eat when preggers.

I am impressed with Zumba. I am too tired tonight for the gym. Have training with running club tomorrow which will make up for it.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 20/07/2011 18:40

Good evening wise pregnant ones. Long time lurker - first time poster here. I've been using this thread for some time now to help me clarify those previously undocumented pregnancy symptoms (such as baking yummy goodies), and for in-depth medical analysis of the conception process (namely; rat-smacking).

Up until now I've been too afraid that saying I would definitely get pregnant this month would jinx me into permanent infertility. However having smacked that rat good and proper this month (CDs 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 - with ov on CD 10) I am therefore especially outraged that this month has not resulted in a resounding BFP by now - 10 DPO. or on 9 dpo 8 dpo or 7 dpo Therefore I have decided the time has come to make a stand. I will be BROOKING ABSOLUTELY NO ARGUMENT, with immediate effect!

As such, it is only appropriate that I share my good news with you lovely ladies before anyone else - I'm pregnant! Woohoo! Now to I just have to find a pee stick that agrees with me...

havealittlefaithbaby · 20/07/2011 18:44

Ooh yes I'm definitely pregnant this month (despite no swi/ovulation yet). Got cramps, nausea and fatigue already!

MooseCakey · 20/07/2011 18:49

Welcome scream and well done on such impressive rat smacking this month, you are surely updiffed so you're in the right place.

Biscuitsandtea · 20/07/2011 18:49

This is more like it - Good effort Scream and Have.

Scream - pretty impressive 'every day' effort there - that BFP can only be a matter of time... When would AF have been showing up if you weren't so clearly already pg?

Have particularly impressed at the pg without swi thing - expect a call from some medical journal or something soon,. Although of course as we know you were actually pg already just no sticks agreeing yet.

xx

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 20/07/2011 18:59

AF was originally due to drop by early next week, usually Monday, but I've just popped a completely squished rat in the post to her (next day delivery) so I'm sure she'll be staying home for the next 9 months Grin

I suggest you might want to send her a little message of your own; a comprehensive summary of your various incontrovertible symptoms and a brief explanation of the anomalous temperature drop perhaps? She'll understand, thermometers are just so unreliable these days.

Imps7 · 20/07/2011 18:59

Excellent work at the rejecting-negative-outlook-adopting-positive-outlook troops! When feeling down you need only remember one thing - you are already pregnant! It's just a matter of finding the right pee stick for you. A bit like the wands in Harry Potter. We need an Ollivander for pee sticks methinks.

Scream - wow - muchos respect for the shagging! I swear OH and I are having less sex than we did before TTC - I can almost hear the tumbleweed blowing across my wazoo on occasions.

Day 3 of the Enormous Bloat. Please, someone, prick me with a pin and deflate me. (I did a little deflating of my own on the cycle home - I swear it made me go faster).

Imps7 · 20/07/2011 19:00

Oh my lord - so many sticks will be peed upon on Monday by the sounds of things!! Can't wait for the BFP rush!

Biscuitsandtea · 20/07/2011 19:04

Scream - I think I must need to write her a strongly worded letter too. Since she was probably due to come here on Monday too she can just have a total day off and rest up - perhaps book some holidays for the following 9 months when she won't be needed?

Imps lol at your extra pedal power Grin. I have bloated since ov toot his month (never before) but I think I am finally marginally less so today. Just ready for my lovely pg bump to start expanding :)

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 20/07/2011 19:06

The 8 day shagathon has completely revolutionised my marriage, my husband now cowers in the corner when I undress loved every second of it! By complete coincidence this is also the first time DH has seemed just as keen as me for this to be THE MONTH! (He will, of course, be ecstatic when I tell him our news later!)

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 20/07/2011 19:09

Imps I am also LOVING the idea of Ollivander as the ultimate purveyor of positive pee sticks!
