Sorry peeps, really busy today but just wanted to yell 'test missg, test!!! Fingers crossed for a BFP!!!

According to FF am now 5dpo so trying not to over analyse every little thing!

eve34 · 21/07/2011 12:57

Afternoon all.

Hope we are all well.

Miss G TEST TEST TEST TEST. Hope you have recoved from the drama of breaking down and well done for avoiding the gym - the work of the devil them places :-)

Summerbird - Hope you have recovered from your hangover - hate them, hence why I don't drink often it takes me days to recover. Glad to hear you have some good news about your friend.

IQ - hope you are ok and the next 6 days go by quickly really hope all goes well for you.

Blue - hope you are feeling better - it does just hit you some days out of nowhere. Look after yourself.

Whatsoever - that is what we want to hear more poss pg. Hope it isn't doing your head in too much - keep us informed of any news :-)

Well it is very nearly the weekend for me only 6 mins to go. I have camp next weekend with the kids from work think of me!!!!! Feeling much more comfortable but do have a sharp pain in my cervix (tmi) sorry to mention it, but wondered if that was normal or not? Otherwise all is ok. I decided that all that pain was me ovulating - I can day dream so dtd last night just in case. DP was most surprised.

Hope everyone else is ok.

MandaHugNKiss · 21/07/2011 13:11

I called the GP for my tsh result and it was 1.42 - so, the lower end of normal, and infact great as far as ttc is concerned. Hmmm, so I don't know what is causing my symptoms then. I suspect the GP would assume depression and offer ADs! But I'm pretty sure depression doesn't affect your basal body temperature though.

Also, I discarded that whacky high 'literally didn't get any sleep that night' temp and sure enough fertility friend has removed my crosshairs. Which feels right, don't think I O'd yet (it's cd18 today. If I follow last months pattern I'm due to O saturday... and DP will be at his mums from friday until sunday eve). THat said, last night DS2 was literally 'on' me from 3-6.30am, feeding, so I also got precious little sleep and yet my bbt was still very low (36.26).

How is it I'm STILLLLLLL in the WTF cycle when it's my third or fourth since the miscarriage (depending on whether I count the first one which clearly wasnt a hormonal cycle given it came 10 days after I stopped bleeding). (I forget who asked the other day, but, yes, my loss was quite late - induced at 16+5, baby had gone about 2 weeks before that. I held him in my hand afterwards and took pictures - he was very clearly a boy!)

I'd just settle for my body getting back to normal. I'm sick to death of wtf now!

Missgiraffe1 · 21/07/2011 13:15

Hehe, that's just the encouragement I need Pie and Eve !! Will ask DH to pick one up on his way up road. Am going to bodypump tonight, but will take it easy just in case (and also because the new routine has a 6 min squat/lunge combo section which is brutal, and my legs ache from Tuesday's class!)

How's that 'trying' going Pie? I am hopless. I tell myself to put all thoughts of pg out of my mind until AF due - but find it impossible to think of anything else! I've already been working out when to tell people!! I have a weekend hen do in London towards end of Sept. My FIL is getting married again, so it's his fiance's do. She is dying for me to have a baby, and was so gutted about previous MCs. She had already started stocking up her bottom (baby) drawer Sad. It would be lovely to be able tell her just before we go. That would possibly be around the 11.5/12 week mark. Bloody hell. I am even more insane that I thought I was!

Not sure about that pain Eve but think it's perfectly reasonable to assume it was Ov. I am getting quite excited about all the testing that will be going on over the next couple of weeks!

Missgiraffe1 · 21/07/2011 13:22

Oh Manda, I'm not surprised you're so pissed off. I am making so many assumptions - most of which are based around all being back to normal, but I guess at just 9 weeks post ERPC, these could well be unfounded.

I hope you get some answers soon. I don't know much about temps and charting, so can't really offer any advice, just a Krispy Kreme Biscuit and a virtual hug x

MandaHugNKiss · 21/07/2011 13:22

missg I also think you are justified in testing... I have about 35 ic's if you want me to sling a few in the post to you?! Grin

MandaHugNKiss · 21/07/2011 13:25

COnfession time I've never eaten a Krispy Kreme - that's despite tescos stocking them, they have a consession in a local department store, and I've been state side five times in the last four years... And I like doughnuts! Mad, eh?

InsomniaQueen · 21/07/2011 13:33

Just had the best news - my good friend gave birth this morning - 12 days late to a healthy 7lb 11 baby girl!!!! I've made her a baby hamper and had to put it in the post cos wanted her to be able to use the stuff ASAP and not sure when back will allow me to drive the 70 odd miles for a visit!!!

Feels incredible to think about it as she has been in and out of hospital during her pg - was very touch and go for both of them (swine flu, laryngitis, bladder infection ect) - her little girl is an absolute little fighter!!! Cant wait to see her and give her a big snuggle!!!!! Feeling sooooo Grin right now - not even metalling!!!!
Xxx

Missgiraffe1 · 21/07/2011 13:43

Awe, that's lovely news IQ. Phew, 12 days late? She must've been going out of her mind!

Manda get yourself down to tesco right now! You are putting doughnut lovers everywhere to shame Smile. They are my one sweet vice. My DD would eat them 'til they were coming out if her ears!

Hope everyone else is having a good Thursday. Right, back to that website updating...

InsomniaQueen · 21/07/2011 13:57

Also have been entertained today by my sister who is convinced she is having a sympathetic pg - so far we have had sore nips, full boobs, bloating, insomnia and freaky dreams all at the same time.......this is obviously how bad things are.....I even have my sister metalling right along with me!!!!

Confused!!!

BlueCrane · 21/07/2011 14:39

Wow this thread moves fast!! Our internet went down at work, then I've been in a meeting and just thought I'd have a quick check and wahey it's all going on...

missg very interested to see what might be going on with you...I think testing def sounds like a good idea...could mean that all that DTD in the shower on hols was 'just for fun' Wink Wink as, if you'd thought you might be pg, you might've panicked about slipping over in the heat of it all and causing yourself or baby some damage and utterly ruined the fun!!

IQ huge congrats to your friend!!! How is your back today?

manda I second the encouragement re. Krispy Kremes...soooo good...my favs are the maple glazed ones...mmmm...yummy!!

whatso I must also confess to boob prodding to see if they are sore Blush ...keep reminding myself that they were SO sore when I was pg so I would actually know if they were sore again but still important to check...right?!!

Oh dear...would love to stay and chat but must get back to work!!

One last thing...my cramps seem to have eased off today but I am soooo tired!! Hmm latest thing on my 'symptoms' list that I'm trying not to make!!

MandaHugNKiss · 21/07/2011 17:46

He he, just as blue exclaims it's busy in here, it all dries up...

Pie I forgot to say - I looked at your chart (and again just now). What caused that high temp you discarded on saturday? Because, yes, with that temp in, you've got a friday O, without it SUnday (although sunday fits much better with your opk - but it's possible you could have picked up the tail end of your surge if O WAS friday). You haven't got your BD's marked - I don't understand why you don't want strangers to see exactly when you're having sex... Grin

summer Such good news for your friend - so hope it can spur her on.

Glad you're feeling better, eve and yay for some SWI!

IQ How lovely to hear about your friends little bundle finally making her way safely into the world - and how lovely of you to send her gift. And, hey, perhaps your sister isn't metalling, but actually, y'know, knocked up? THat would be fun, wouldn't it?!

missG Have you blooming tested yet? Or are you being sensible and waiting for fmu?

SImilarly, whatso are you poas soon? Go on, go on, you know it makes no sense! Grin

Also can't wait for you to poas blue! Your deadline is today, right? SO you'll be reporting here tomorrow morning, right?

Well. I just took an opk that finally has a line on it. It's not positive, but I fade in fairly quickly once the line starts - I imagine that it'll be positive tomorrow or the next day meaning I'll O saturday or sunday. Seem to have a bit of EWCM today, too. Perect. Just perfect(!) DP is aware and will try to get back each day to service me, as it were. Wow, romance is NOT dead (says I, looking at the roses he got me earlier - he'd gone into town to buy his DD some stuff in Abercrombie and fitch but got me flowers and my favourite gastropub ready meal thingy from marks and spencers as well. Which I just ate. I'm sooo full it's horrible)

ShimmeryPixie · 21/07/2011 19:37

Hi All!

Note to self (and others it seems) - prodding boobs does not make you pregnant. That ship has sailed and you are either on it or not. I'm symptom spotting like crazy (inability to remember correct words for everyday items - check, ahem, moistness - check). sadly I'm pretty doubtul this month. It just doesn't feel right.

Mmmmmm. Maple glazed Krispy Kreme. Blue you are a girl after my own heart.

Right. Back to work.

MandaHugNKiss · 21/07/2011 19:40

Oh! And I just remembered cuttle you popped in and did nothing other than post a stats list with you on the end of BFPs... so many conratulations to you Smile

shimmery Work? It's approaching eight in the evening. Whatcha workin' at?

PieMistress · 21/07/2011 20:29

Hi Peeps,

What's the ferris bueller quote about life moving fast, blink and you'll miss it! This thread is nearly like that Grin

shimmery how many days dpo are you?

manda whoop on the +opk and DP coming back to get the servicing in! Grin My discarded high temp on Sat was because DP woke me up snoring in the middle of the night and I lay awake for ages and couldn't get back to sleep so went downstairs and read on the sofa for a bit before nodding off for a very restless couple of hours then got up so think that might have made it unusually high ?? If I do include that temp then it gives me crosshairs rather than a definite line, am sure time will tell! Threw me out the month by ovulating at least 5 days earlier than normal though, booooo! I wasn't really prepared! The opk was negative on Friday but positive on Saturday evening which is why i'm swaying more towards a Sunday ov? I was really sorry to hear of your late loss, big big hugs xxxx

missg oooo have you tested yet?

summer great to hear about your friends prognosis being a bit better. what is the next stage with regards to treatment? how many days DPO are you now?

IQ fab news about your friend! fingers crossed you will be able to share your good news with her soon. How have you been feeling today?

blue my intermittent cramps really do my head in! I get very confused by them - grrrr! When is AF due again? No amount of prodding will make my boobs sore at the moment! I even had a overly paranoid moment on the bus that all the bouncing around would make any egg 'unimplant' isn't that supid !!!!!

eve oooo where are you going camping?

whats I was exactly the same this morning in thinking 'ooooo morning sickness' and then remembered i'd hardly had much tea last night so was bloomin starving hence feeling a bit queasy, PAH!!!

I've never had a krispy kreme donut?!! What am I missing and where do I try one?!

waves to all !!!! friday tomorrow,whoop !!!

PieMistress · 21/07/2011 20:33

ps - manda I just 'undiscarded' that random high temp from Sat and its kept my probably ov date as Sunday

BlueCrane · 21/07/2011 21:12

Evening all!

manda deadline tomorrow so not quite there yet...will POAS on Saturday morning if nothing by then, but not feeling hopeful eitherway at the moment! Liking your DP flowers and M&S meal idea!!

pie I've no idea when AF due as still in the WTF time post ERPC...which incidently was 6 weeks ago today Sad I got a bfn 2.5 weeks ago and now had cramps on and off for the last week and been overly hormonal and moody as hell...poor DH...more about that in a mo! When is your AF due...if Ov last weekend then I'm guessing you're nearly a week into the 2ww...oh the waiting and being patient is sooo tough!!

missg where are you? have you tested...liking your earlier theorising!!

whatso how's things?

IQ hope you're still taking it easy? Will you be off work tomorrow as well? How's your back? Is DH back at the weekend?

Well I must tell you all about my evening which has been rather eventful but not in the best of ways! I stumbled home from work very hungry, very tired and in a foul mood (seems to be the norm courtesy of flipping hormones at the mo!) hoped DH had put dinner on, which he hadn't, so I started to do it but was just too tired so he took over, cue me going in the shower...he popped into the bathroom to chat...decided to join me in the shower (no missg I hadn't been telling tales of your antics on holiday!!) anyway...nothing happened in there but as I got out DH says he can smell burning so still dripping in water I dash into the kitchen to find he'd left the potatoes in a pan on hot stove with no water so they were seriously burnt and in a right mess, I grabbed them and dumped them on the worktop...went and got dry, came back and discovered the hot pan had burnt blisters into the worktop!!! Shock Angry soooo now shopping for one of those glass worktop saver chopping boards to cover the mess as we can't afford to replace the worktop...grrrr...

Just realised this is a rather long post...oops...hope you're all well this evening?

PieMistress · 21/07/2011 21:30

blue am guessing AF will come next week for me, i'll test if the witch isn't here by Sat as that's 14dpo but not feeling like this has been our month :( sounds like you've had a bit of an eventful evening!! We got our glass worktop saver chopping board from Matalan if that's any help! It's quite funky :)

Summerbird73 · 21/07/2011 21:30

oh bloody hell too much to catch up on!

pie your post made me PMSL - in particular this bit: ''summer great to hear about your friends prognosis being a bit better. what is the next stage with regards to treatment? how many days DPO are you now?''

i am actually going to tell my friend about it - she has a good sense of humour so will think it is funny that you have mentioned chemo and TTC in one breath! (honestly i think it is Grin Wink )

in answer to your questions - her chemo starts on 4 August and should take 15 weeks - fingers crossed she will be in remission at the end of it (the stats are 60% in her favour - better than the 10% i was reading about! Hmm ) they basically said that the cancer was on her diaphragm but no longer on the liver or lung - she needs an MRI to be absolutely certain so still not out of the woods.

Oh and i am 7DPO i think - crikey so i could test next week Shock i am thinking of holding out until next weekend...

manda i am so sorry about the circumstances of your MC, that brought a tear to my eye. so so sorry Sad and those unmumsnetty hugs on their way to you xxx

shimmery loving your stern words - i shall stop prodding boobies forthwith!

blue for the sweet love of god will you just POAS FFS woman! aaand relax. i have a secret good feeling about you but will shut up now!

IQ wonderful news about your friend, she has been through so much but the babba's are resilient little things, loveliness loveliness loveliness! (FTR i was 12 days over too - i had to go and be induced as i was a danger to society by that point Grin ) oh and i am loving your sisters sympathetic pregnancy!

missg i shall have a krispy kreme from you thanks! i resisted them for ages as they looked chavvy then my boss brought some in for us and i have been addicted since!

eve how many DPO are you? those pains could be implantation... i got those with DS and with the MC baby. FX for you

phew think i have covered everyone! but waves if i havent - oh and cuttle i meant to respond to say congrats! Grin

Summerbird73 · 21/07/2011 21:33

whatso i havent waved to whatso Blush hey there

blue you little minx Wink

whatsoever · 21/07/2011 21:58

Evening all!
MissG rofl - muchos metalling!
IQ - congrats to your friend
Manda - AF not due til next Wednesday so if AF doesn't arrive by then I'll POAS but not a day before Smile

Been to my yoga class tonight which is probably the highlight of my week at the moment (dear heavens). DH still not back. Talked to mum and mother in law - grandma not good, she's having a nasal feeding tube fitted tomorrow. Now watching Torchwood.

whatsoever · 21/07/2011 21:59

Summer waves back!

InsomniaQueen · 21/07/2011 22:40

Just got to the end of a VERY long post and pressed UNDO on my I-pad which wiped the lot.....GRRRRRR Angry!!!

will have to re post tomorrow as am too tired to start all over again!!

Night all
Xxxx

BlueCrane · 22/07/2011 10:18

Morning all...well, deadline over, project with the courier on the way to the Client and I can relax and sort out my disaster of a desk and do my filing!! Smile

On a different note I caved in and POAS this morning....aaaand...BFN! But I actually feel ok about this as it means that if I do get a bfp sometime soon I can be more confident in it having had an absolute bfn beforehand IYSWIM. It was using an internet cheapie but I do trust these ones as I got my first hint of a bfp on one last time! So, will wait a few days and test again if AF still not arrived. ho hum...so the Confused continues as does the waiting! Time for Brew and cake methinks!

Happy Friday everyone! Roll on the weekend and having POAS this morning I can have a nice lie in tomorrow not stressing about being too half asleep to remember FMU for testing and/or testing and then not being able to get back to sleep thus wrecking lie in opportunity!

Missgiraffe1 · 22/07/2011 11:08

Cuttle I missed that altogether! Congrats! Hopefully that list of BFPs will be increasing soon Smile

Whatso, sorry your Grandma is so ill Sad . Do you stay far away from her?

Blue only a day earlier than you intended - well done. Want to say "awe, sorry it's a BFN" but also understand it still gives you a bit of clarity.

I also POAS - BFN. Of course it is. I worked myself up into some kind of hysterical stupour yesterday! Idiot. As soon as the thought pops into your head, there is no removing it. It's like the PG-related hormone version of Pringles! So, I'm fine with it. If that bleeding had been implantation, I would def have got a BFP by now, so no more boob-prodding, belly squishing, imaginary symptom spotting for me (well, for a few days at least anyway Grin). Guess I just wait until the end of the original 2ww period and see what happens. Only another 10 days, although I know already that I'll test a few a couple of days before that.

Just a short one, busy at work. Really shouldn't be on here, but boss is on hols - peace and quiet Smile although I'm much busier as a result, IYSWIM

Happy Friday to you all.
