Just done it again! Posted messages to Poppy about Pimms, Insomnia about her cunning plan, Manda about pro plus, cocktail sticks and teething and about feeling boaky after eating a fish supper (straight after bodypump) but it had logged me out. Is this a new problem on MN??? Marathon did that happen to you too?

Can't be bothered writing it all out again, but am definitely sending the Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit to you all in order to make me feel less guilty about aforementioned grease-ridden dinner Grin

InsomniaQueen · 30/06/2011 21:41

MissG has happened to me for the past couple of days!!! When I try to post it says I'm not logged in - all I've done is use the back button which brings up the last page - then copied my post - logged back in and pates then gone straight to post.....that works but is a pain in the bum!!!! Just happened as I tried to post this Angry!!!

summer fully agreed - but my husband is very spoilt......in fairness when we went to new York I paid for a meal and watching the new years fireworks - my credit card was practically on fire.....additionally I have allowed him to have not one but two dogs.....have bought him a number of his very exciting very pricey video games this year because of his sad "oh so and so has one - it's amazing" (god his kids are going to ruin me financially).....I always encourage him to go out and play go out with his mates.....and even looked the other way when he spent a significant amount of money on an electric drum kit (a boyhood fantasy) which is currently taking up spaces in my future nursery!!!

All in all I conclude that I'm worth it - plus I said that holidays make me more relaxed therefore more likely to conceive.....the logic is good but not sure how strong my argument is!!!!Grin

Hello all Smile

SES fingers crossed for your BFN soon given the clear scan. I work for a big 4 accountancy firm. I'm on a team of 2 normally but the other 1 is on a year's mat leave. People keep telling me what a good opportunity it is to prove myself for promotion but doing the work of two people for a year doesn't feel that great Angry Anyway much better day today and second week at a yoga class I love which really helps.

Blue hope you're all set for a lovely break

Insomnia symptoms sounding hopeful...

DH is back on Saturday which should be about the time AF is over so perhaps good timing! On the sad side my good friend goes in for an ERPC tomorrow after having a 2nd scan which showed her baby had definitely gone (there was some uncertainty over dates so they waited 2 weeks). Very sad for her too and they don't live in the same city as us anymore so can't just pop round with wine and chocolate Sad

Here's to a good weekend all, with plenty of SWI where relevant Wink

MarathonMama · 01/07/2011 08:39

Gosh it's been busy on here...

Hello ladies! It's Friday Grin Let's crack open the Wine and Biscuit (chocolate would be better but...)

Poppy, Manda, IQ, I'm so jealous of your symptoms! Poppy's are sounding particularly promising, maybe it's multiples Wink. Keep us all up-to-date

MissG that's exactly what keeps happening, it's so blinkin' frustrating, especially when I've taken the time to add all the * and [, look back at what everyone's said and included their names. Hopefully HQ will get it sorted soon.

SES sending BFN vibes your way.

Whatso I used to work in the Big 4, for my sins. They always want you to jump through some hoop or another for that elusive promotion. I always thought I'd go back but haven't missed it at all.

IQ I could also do with some husband taming lessons, maybe there's a business venture there? thinks IQ could maybe be a contestant on The Apprentice next year

Summer are you POAS this Mon?

Nothing to report here:

Nipples/ breasts: normal
Sense of taste: normal
Constitution: normal
Frequency of urination: normal
Abdomen: rounded (i.e. normal)

Ho hum.

Missgiraffe1 · 01/07/2011 09:05

Good morning all, and a sunny one it it too. It''s going to be a mad bed linen washing frenzy over the next few days (except tomorrow as we are at a wedding) in preparation for 10 (up one from last time I checked!) of our friends staying here the night before we go to France! Yikes! My lovely little Dad has offered to come up and tidy a bit once we leave, as - with there being 8 girls (ahem) and 4 boys, and with probably all 8 of us having been for fake tans before we go - I am imagining every towel in the house being used, as well as every glass, plate and mug (and bottles of Wine of course])

Sorry to hear about your friend Whatso and, although you're not close (in mileage terms), I'm sure she'll appreciate an understanding ear when she's ready.

Marathon did you read Poppy's genius method of not losing your post? I seem to have no common sense when it comes to such matters. Thanks Poppy!

Have a lovely Friday! Smile

Summerbird73 · 01/07/2011 09:11

marathon am not sure i am going to make it over the weekend! honestly i am only CD22 BUT am 12DPO. Also my boobs are so sensitive, i am trying not to go on about it to DH but they feel like they did when PG with DS

The weird thing is with my second pregnancy (the MC one) i didnt have any symptoms other than nausea, i didnt get the sore boobs or tiredness (and yet i got them straight away with DS) the MC happened at 10 weeks. I know i am talking myself round here but - aaaarrrggghhhhh

might crack open the Wine myself over the weekend - could be the last time Wink or if it is BFN then i am getting hammered next weekend at my friends 40th birthday party Grin Grin

whatso big hugs for your friend, i get so sad now when i hear of other people going through it Sad

insomnia with the greatest respect... Envy Wink

BlueCrane · 01/07/2011 11:17

Just a quick hello before we head out the door to the airport and off to Cork for the weekend Grin Grin

Haven't had a chance to catch up with everything posted this morning but wishing you all a lovely weekend with lots of symptoms and bfn's/AF for those waiting for those and bfp's/NO AF for those waiting for those Smile

Catch up on Monday!!

Summerbird73 · 01/07/2011 12:40

oo have a lovely time blue Smile

Poppyjen · 01/07/2011 12:54

Have a great time blue !

Missgiraffe I think that the genius method of not losing posts was falsely attributed to me....much as I would like to think I have rare (ahem, extremely rare) moments of genius I must confess that one was not mine Wink

Happy Friday everyone Grin

MarathonMama · 01/07/2011 13:01

Have a fab time blue, you lucky thing!

Summer that's sounding very exciting! Can you get one of those First Response early tests and try today? I'm super jealous of you, Poppy and Manda. Out of interest, and vague hope, how many dpo did your symptoms kick in?

MissG sounds like lots of fun at your house (the get together obviously, not all the washing) I might have to gatecrash!

Summerbird73 · 01/07/2011 13:08

marathon as i will be 14DPO on Sunday and CD24 I could prob do a Clearblue digi then. DH is a bit Hmm about it as last month we did two tests at BFN around this time and were v disappointed - i kept saying 'well the hormones will kick in in a few days' etc etc. Gaaaahhh i think i will do it sunday.

manda you still getting any symptoms? you must be about 7dpo now?

InsomniaQueen · 01/07/2011 15:19

MissG what a good dad!!!! Hope you and your full house have a great time away!!!!

Blue so hope your having a wonderful time on your weekend break!!!

Summer I accept your Envy with complete humility.....the only problem is that my resolve is being sorely tested right now!!! I woke up at 3, felt ridiculously warm and felt the room spinning and really nauseous - laid still and was fine eventually. Woke up for work at 7 and felt the same but more sick this time - had to steady my nerves for 20 mins before leaving my bed. Was thinking it was something I ate (had a cheeky takeaway last night) but as my stomach has been otherwise fine I'm not really sure what to think. Been eating crystallised ginger (purchased last month in preparation for morning sickness) which has totally helped!!! Really trying not to get my hopes up at the moment - as its very doubtful but considering I've never felt this sick post OV or when I was BFP.

Now metalling......but staying away from the tests as a holiday is hanging in the balance!!!!

Arggghhhhhh!!!!!

Summerbird73 · 01/07/2011 15:43

oh.my.god insomnia .....Hmm..... so when can you test? when does DH get back, just scanning your recent posts and you just dont know - you could have OV'd without a high temp (not that i know diddly squat!). Stay strong Smile

MarathonMama · 01/07/2011 17:01

OMG IQ that sounds very promising! So between you, poppy, summer and manda we could have few BFPs this month If symptoms are anything to go by! I am so Envy Keep trying to imagine symptoms but there's nothing there and I'm sure I had early symptoms last time. Got everything crossed for you all though.

IQ You should book the hol this weekend and test on Sun, that way it's bound to be BFP!

shellshock7 · 01/07/2011 17:21

Hello everyone, hope you are all excited for the weekend Grin

Sorry not got time to name check everyone, but I know a couple of people were asking about early scans...there are two EPUs in my area - one you need a referall but another you can self refer so will try for that at just after 8 weeks (my MMC was at 10 weeks for the baby had stopped developing at 8), if not we are going to pay, we just can't wait for 12 weeks!

Will catch up with properly with everyone when I get chance Smile

whatsoever · 01/07/2011 19:13

Have a great time Blue!

I have run out of fingers to cross for all those with hopeful symptoms.

Shell sounds like a good plan re: the early scan. If and when I get pregnant again I will definitely do that, even if we have to go private.

Hope everyone's enjoying the sunshine and/or tennis. Smile I've been working at home today (unplanned but worked out best with picking car up from the body shop and lots of client calls) and had the tennis on mute in the background. Unfortunately as soon as I shut the laptop and got the wine out it's all gone downhill for Murray Sad

InsomniaQueen · 01/07/2011 20:20

Currently enjoying a nice glass of coke minus the vodka, just in case!!!!

summer AF is due on the 9th I think......husband has gone out for a night with the boys so I'm chilling at home with the dogs.

Trying sooooo hard not to think about it but it seems like it just keeps popping up, "did you wash the salad properly", "no I better not have s drink", "think it would be best to get an early night"......the slim chance that I'm pg is making me question the things I have taken for granted the past weeks.

Damn it all to hell - where is that person with the crystal who can tell me one way or another (right now) plus tell me that everything will work out......Confused

marathon not allowed to book until he gets back because the return date is "fluid"......he is worried about me being pg and flying - I know that isn't the reason for the MC but its made him wary - will have to see how it all works out......damn my body and it's symptoms!!!

It would just be easier if your wee turned blue when you were pg then you wouldn't have to sit staring at lines on tests or waiting for those stupid egg timers on the digitests!!!!

Summerbird73 · 01/07/2011 21:30

BLUE WEE yay for Blue Wee Grin Grin i was just thinking earlier that i too wish i could just go up to one of the old dears in the street and say 'am i PG' to which she would reply 'yes dear but i knew that when you were shagging' Grin

i caved in and drank wine tonight - DH is out so i am making the most of my [hopefully] last weekend - as i say if i get a BFN i am on the lash next weekend Grin

insomnia ok so i am keeping my fingers crossed for you, i guess your DH is talking sense but gaaaahhhhhhh you will get that holiday and the BFP! Smile

eve34 · 01/07/2011 22:30

Evening all Hope we are all looking forward to a relaxing weekend :-)

Summerbird and insomnia fingers crossed for you both how exciting for you. Likes the idea of blue wee - would be much simpler!

Blue - hope you have a fab weekend

Miss G hope you have agreat time with the house full Sounds exciting.

Whatsoever - hope your friend is ok, at least she has you to offer support and comfort even if you can't be there.

So can someone please tell me what the dop poas cdo !!!! letter mean? I am confused - doesn't take much.

Have poorly DS today - he will bre better by monday - work will never believe me after 4 weeks off if I don't go back!!!

MarathonMama · 02/07/2011 16:41

Well ladies, my pre-AF spotting has arrived right on cue, I'm gutted Sad Have been a right old grot bag because of it, feel bad for taking it out on DH and DD. Oh well, on to next month...

eve I think your letters mean days past ovulation, cycle day and pee on a stick.

I love the idea of blue wee! Wouldn't it be great if our bodies did that.

MandaHugNKiss · 02/07/2011 19:47

Ah, blue wee... but you can imagine, can't you, that it would still be inconclusive enough to have us going as loopy as ever in the 2ww!

'Is it blue? It looks more turquoise-y to me?' and many women posting pictures of their pee in pots in order to get the opinion of other women... it'd be hilarious Grin

Well, my pee is definitely not blue! And, I dunno, I feel queasy on/off still (especially when hungry) and have been having some pinching on my left ovary... but really don't feel pregnant. And as we were invited to a wedding here. Lush. (apparently Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley's nuptials are gonna be there) (and, no, it's not their wedding I was invited to!) a couple of days ago and it's August next year. DP is to be best man. I can't imagine me making it with a five month in tow Confused

marathonmama Spotting 8dpo is normal for you? How long is your LP?

Summerbird73 · 03/07/2011 14:26

marathon Angry about your AF - just means more 'marathon style' shagging this month am afraid! hope you are on the wine tonight?

manda i love your virtual MN threads on blue wee Grin

well as for me, I POAS this morning and got a BFN, i am now 14dpo and CD24 so still have a few days yet, however i got some brown spotting yesterday which could be either implantation bleed (but prob a bit late for that now) or AF announcing her impending arrival (the byatch!)

anyway i shall keep you posted. off to finish making soup whilst DS is playing recorder in his room when he is supposed to be having a nap! Grin

MarathonMama · 03/07/2011 14:43

manda spotting is usual about 3 days before my AF but last month it was exactly a week before. I thought it was implantation bleeding but alas AF arrived a week later. Same again this time. I didn't get any spotting pre-AF before my dd was born, very strange.

I'm trying to imagine the logistics of photographing mid-flow....

summer not good for now but there's still time as you say. Are the symptoms still there?

Summerbird73 · 03/07/2011 15:07

no symptoms of either manda my boobies were ever so sore last week but ok now. but i have no signs of AF (other than the mild spotting yesterday) i would usually have back cramps by now. ah well, i have promised DH a marathon shagging sesh this month if AF arrives! Grin

MandaHugNKiss · 04/07/2011 07:49

Hmm. Currently feeling quite fed up - it seems my cycle is still screwed up. Yes, I know there's a faint hope but I'm realistic.

I should explain.

So, yesterday, 9 dpo, temp dropped near the coverline. This morning it's a fraction closer to the coverline and I'm spotting. And kinda crampy (I just typo'd that as crappy - which is just as accurate! Grin)

Really, body?! A 10 day lp? That is just not on (I usually expect af 15dpo).

(as I said, still faint hope - that it's implantation - but I just don't feel that Confused)
