Awe, not so great timing whatso, just grab him and tell him he's not leaving until the deed is done (whilst giving that "don't mess with lady on TTC mission" look).

Blue sorry to hear of recent bleeding, that must be frustrating when you had so little right to begin with. Have no advice, just hope the sun is out where you are, and you manage to have a chilled day.

Marathon Still nothing. I have noticed though, last night and today, that I have higher than usual amount of white/creamy discharge (sorry TMI, but like over-watered wall paper paste). Trying not to read too much into it, but...... Glad you seem to have finished with your first proper AF anyway - whoohoo!! onwards with the TTC!!

Dizzy, have you decided to go for it then?!

Hope you're having a better day today than yesterday Manda

BlueCrane · 14/06/2011 15:50

Bleeding v light and on and off so think it's probably just part of the WTF cycle!! Going to docs about my hand tomorrow (still not right unfortunately!) so will check with them then anyway and am planning to POAS on Thurs (week after erpc) to see if I can get a bfn Hmm

Glad TTC is starting to get underway for people Grin here's to matching underwear (though wish I could get back into my normal bra's...don't seem to have 'shrunk' in that area yet!!) and pouncing on DHs/DPs to get things going!! whatsoever I will also be pleased to get that first time done and know everything's ok down there IYSWIM.

Thinking positive thoughts for you missg

marathon glad AF nearly gone!

whatsoever · 14/06/2011 18:26

missgiraffe1 and BlueCrane - guffawing at your descriptions of getting back on the TTC bandwagon with DH/DP! There will have to be pouncing/alluring looks in my house tonight/tomorrow and I very much empathise with the need to ensure things are OK 'down there'.

marathon cheering nearly done AF. (Re-reading that sentence - what do our bodies drive us to that I am cheering your period being nearly over??)

DizzyKipper · 15/06/2011 06:35

Hi all,

I had an awful dream last night in which I had another MC, but this time we were able to see the baby as I passed the material. Won't up feeling as terrible as I felt in the dream.

hotcrossSES · 15/06/2011 06:46

Dizzy - sorry for your dream. I had one almost exactly the same after my first mc and it was so vivid. Take it easy today and try (not easy I know) to put it out of your head.

Great to have chat on here about ttc again. I've just about got my head around that being our next step but 12 days on from ERPC, I'm still getting BFP :( I stopped bleeding about 4 days ago. Do you think I should phone the EPU?

Missgiraffe1 · 15/06/2011 09:05

oh Dizzy, so sorry to hear of your awful dream. I hope it doesn't set you back.

Whatsoever, hope your DH is suitably knackered today Wink.

I caved this morning, there is a faint line! Eeeeeek. I don't know whether to be Grin or [shocked] or Confused. What I want is to be able to relax and think
"Wow, I'm actually preggers again (and forget - for the timebeing - about the stress of knicker-checking, panicking about every twinge, early scan freak-outs etc etc), this is amazing!"
but I'm not sure. I know a line is a line (apparently), no matter how faint, but I'm not sure if this means I am actually pg or if it means there's still a little HcG left after MC. It was a cheapo tesco test, I bought 2, what I should do is wait and do the other one tomorrow morning (but what I know I'll do is do the second one in about 2 hours, and I'll have been to boots and back for the Early Response ones by lunchtime!)

I've come to realise that no mattar what way things go in this TTC malarkey, we worry either way!!

Missgiraffe1 · 15/06/2011 09:26

"mattar"? (could my inability to type/spell be baby brain????)

BlueCrane · 15/06/2011 09:39

Oh dizzy so sorry to hear about your horrible dream...hope it doesn't play on your mind too much today!

Missg Grin ooh!!! I'm guessing there's really no point in my saying that you should definitely wait for FMU tomorrow and retest then as I would probably do the same as you suggested in your post Blush and no matter how much I keep telling myself I will relax and be more chilled this time around I know I won't as I'm an impatient so-and-so who just has to know!! How long is it since your MC now? And (sorry can't remember) have you had an AF since owould this have been it?! Really hope it turns out to be good news for you!!!

I'm shattered this morning but that's my own fault for staying up too late last night and then trying to ring the docs early this morning, only to find the only appointment they've got clashes with my hair app so will try again tomorrow! Looking forward to some pampering at the hairdressers and actually starting to look forward to going back to work on Friday...3 weeks at home is a looong time!

hotcross I've heard it can take a while to get a bfn unfortunately as depends how quickly the hormone levels drop. No personal experience yet as I will be testing for first time since erpc tomorrow morning.

Missgiraffe1 · 15/06/2011 10:23

Hey Blue good luck at the doctors about your hand, hope it's not something that will take too long to fix itself. Are you getting anything exciting done at hairdressers? Maybe you should pop to beauticians too, my friends have all been joking about vajazzles since The Only Way is Essex was on. Would a diamonte "TTC" down there be a turn off??? Grin Or, how about

ERPC was on 16th May, so 30 or 31 days (depending on how you count it). ucl 27/28days.

Hotcross I'd be interested to hear how this turns out for you. I've heard so many different stories - some who get bfn within a week, and some who take much longer, Wonder if it depends on how high the HcG level got to. Did they check your HcG? EPU probably best people to advise. Glad you're checking though - my 'head in sand' strategy is why I'm now in a WTF place!

BlueCrane · 15/06/2011 10:38

missg nothing too exciting at the hairdressers but it is in need of a reshape...after bizarre extra growth spurt with what I did have of pregnancy hormones!! Think the excitement of a trip to beauticians will only extend as far as an eyebrow shape or manicure...not sure either DH or I would be too keen on anything more 'adventurous' Smile

Your dates are def interesting... here's hoping it's all good news for you!!

My hand is definitely irritating me as it hurts when I drive and each evening the area around where I think the nerve has been damaged is quite sore and swollen. Had been hoping it would just sort itself out but clearly not doing so will see what the docs say tomorrow...so frustrating as it is an unfortunate reminder of what had to happen last week and also so unecessary as clearly the hospital is supposed to make you better not cause injury Hmm !!

MarathonMama · 15/06/2011 11:10

OMG MissG! You must be all over the shop. How exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time! From what I've read about others who've had a BFP before an AF it's a bit of a waiting game now to see if the hormone levels rise. Any other symptoms???

Sorry to hear about your dream Dizzy that sounds awful. Hope you are feeling better?

Whatso matching undies? I don't think I've worn matching undies in years! In fact, I'm not sure I own any. I did have an undies drawer clear out a couple of weeks ago and found that I do own 24 (yes ladies, 24) black cotton thongs. DH thought it very entertaining and suggested I see if I could wear them all at once Hmm

Blue hope your hand isn't too painful. Enjoy the pampering! Don't blame you for missing out on the vajazzle. At least know we now we know how MissG keeps her DH match fit Wink

Not such a good day for me, AF was tailing off to brown discharge yesterday but then last night came back with a vengeance, red blood and fairly heavy so I don't know what's going on. Boobs are sore too so I assume my hormones are having some sort of party. Grrrr!

Missgiraffe1 · 15/06/2011 11:33

Hehe, have never actually had one of those done, but you never know. I'm up for anything once!

Marathon that really sucks. Just when you're getting your head around your cycle regulating, your body goes and confuses you all over again! If hormones were people, I bet they'd be right devious little beggers!

I thought I'd phone the EPU, just to ask what I should be doing, if anything. "Test again in 2 weeks". Pft, as if! She basically said it was possible that it could still be HcG dropping post-MC, or equally it could be a new pg. Nothing new or groundbreaking there then. Still no symptoms, but can see me reading so much into everything for the next week! So, yep, another waiting game, and the headf&%k (sorry, but only way I can describe it) of having to try to put out of my mind the thought that I might be pg again, whilst also taking all the precautions of pg at same time [insert WTF emoticon]. Grrrrrr, is it too early in the day for wine Wine?! Ooops, sorry, forgot, I can't have any!!!!!!

So, guess that's my head back in the sand again! Will attempt to not mention it until next week. I soooo can't concentrate on work.

I hardly even wear matching socks, let alone undies - and more people see my socks. Actually, my DD has started wearing odd socks, and it annoys me (fickle or what) and I thinks her friends parents must think I let her out in any old state (not helped by fact she also seems averse to ironed clothes these days!) The joys of teenagers....

MarathonMama · 15/06/2011 13:03

Unmatching socks are quite trendy aren't they? [can't believe I'm using the word trendy] That and laddered tights? I don't understand teen fashion but then I used to sport rolled down knee socks and trainers with the tongues sticking out so suppose I can't talk. Unmatching undies are also trendy, of course...

Headf&%k - too right! I can totally understand why it would be. It's just a waiting game now but those days are really going to drag. Big fx that it's good news though Grin

Hotcross I'd definitely phone the EPU and see what they say, at least it'll reassure you.

shellshock7 · 15/06/2011 13:42

Fingers crossed for you MissG : - )

BlueCrane · 15/06/2011 13:45

Feeling suitably pampered from the hairdressers and now going to try and do some studying this afternoon (though an afternoon snooze also feels like a good idea!)

missg I think unfortunately you have a long week ahead of you...really hope it's good news at the end of it though!

marathon what a pain with AF!! How dare she come back when she indicated she was leaving!

Re. things matching I find if I stick to a range of things in black and white then most things can be easily matched up Smile though I did invest in some nice other coloured matching underwear when we were TTC last time...just a shame that I can't fit into it again at the mo as seem to have put some (very unwanted) weight on since my BFP and through MMC which is annoying!

Missgiraffe1 · 15/06/2011 14:06

Hi Shell, thanks. How are you?

Blue I feel like I have only just lost the weight, a full month on. I definitely filled out a bit around the middle, even though I only got to just over 9 weeks. And sitting about the house eating mid and post-MC, when you're usually at work, probably contributes too. It'll go once you'te back into your usual routine. Have a nice afternoon

hotcrossSES · 15/06/2011 14:07

MissGiraffe - fx for you! I think you're right about the whole ttc/pg process. Whatever stage you're at you worry and it always seems like you want to be at a different stage Hmm
EPU told me to test again in a week (which will then be 19 days since ERPC).

Marathon - Grr! at AF return. Why are our bodies so cruel?!

Blue - glad you're feeling pampered from the hairdresser. Hope you manage to get an appointment with Dr tomorrow and your hand gets sorted.

I'm meant to be meeting a friend and her DC for a picnic later but it's just started to rain. What happened to the warm sun we were promised?!

MarathonMama · 15/06/2011 15:39

I'm so with you re. the weight. I was at week 13 when we had our mmc so had a good old jelly belly. I've been comfort eating ever since, need to start thinking about being healthy in anticipation of ttc (if my AF ever decides to bugger off!).

Blue your hair's looking fab, give us a timotei swish of the head so that we can get the full effect...

BlueCrane · 15/06/2011 16:44

Have had a seriously unproductive afternoon, just felt v tired and down and not really known what to do with myself...probably just because I am actually tired and silly hormones playing up again!

Must also stop eating biscuits as jelly belly not doing any favours here...dreading trying to get into my work trousers on friday!

Ho hum...DH home soon which will be nice!! Hope you all have good evenings with lots of 'entertainment' whatsoever Wink

MandaHugNKiss · 15/06/2011 17:18

Just quickly:

missG Exciting stuff! I hope that what I'm about to say won't apply to you... but I was still getting a faint bfp three and a half weeks after my erpc. Did you test until you got a bfn? In which case your line would defintely be new Grin. That said, I was 16+5 so I kinda expected it to take a while.

I guess if I were you, I'd need to test over the following days with the same make of test and at the same time of day, to get an idea of whether the lines are getting darker or fainter. I really hope it's darker! (I've always been one of those loonies who carries on testing after bfp to watch it get darker... for me, I see the darkness increase every other day but I know that it's different for everyone. That said, I got a barely there line at 10 dpo with DS3 - at 11dpo it was very clear indeed.)

blue Glad you're loving your hair - I recently discovered a 'miracle' product that makes me love my hair again even though it desperately needs colouring (SO MUCH GREY ) and a decent cutting... Morrocan oil. It's simply amazing stuff.

Jelly bellies? Uh. Nope, not here. I'm still all taut. Gah, who am I kidding, my belly is of the jelly kind too (and not the good type that is the many flavoured beans). Infact, I've gained a kilo in the last day, somehow. Given a hardly ate yesterday I'm at a loss as to what's causing it although my bbt is a lot lower than usual too - I wonder if it's comehow connected.

Missgiraffe1 · 16/06/2011 08:45

Manda am a fellow testing loonie. I hadn't realised your loss was so late on, I'm so sorry. Keeping fingers firmly crossed for a bfp for you soon.

No, I made the mistake of not testing until now. Did second tesco cheapie yesterday afternoon, also bfp. BUT, did CB digital this morning - Not pregnant! Confused. Can only assume that there was just enough HcG left in my system yesterday, but it had dropped below detectable by this morning.
I'm sort of relieved in a way, but disappointed at the same time (never nice to see a bpn). Hope AF arrives soon though Sad. Guess I'm officially in the WTC cycle!

So, now I have had bfn, I'm back on board with the TTC - now, where are those sexy matching undies??.......

MarathonMama · 16/06/2011 13:44

Oh no MissG, are you sure that it's not that the HcG is going up and hasn't registered on the CB digital yet? Have you bought another CB to test in a few days?

How frustrating for you, it's so annoying not knowing what's happening. You must be going up the wall.

My AF seems to have gone (she whispers in hope) so am hoping to be blood free for a few days at least. This whole thing is so frustrating! I'm hoping that I'm starting to get back to normal but my boobs have been so sore I suspect my hormones are still up to no good (in MissG's words: cheeky beggers!).

Hope the rest of you are ok? Waves to Blue, Manda, Hotcross, Dizzy etc

BlueCrane · 16/06/2011 14:01

Hello all...so so sorry about the bfp mess with your head situation MissG hope you get either a bfp on digi or AF in the next few days!

I POAS this morning and still bfp...and irritatingly a stronger line than when I first found out I was pregnant! I also went to the docs this morning who seemed quite surprised that the hospital had made such a mess of putting the thing in for the anesthetic...he said my vein and nerve are inflamed as a result, hence the pain and strange tingly sensations and said I should get some ibuprofen gel to rub on twice a day for the next few weeks which should sort it out...grrrr..quite irritating.

marathon glad your visitor seems to have finally left...here's hoping she's gone for a while!

How's everyone else today?

MarathonMama · 16/06/2011 14:20

Blue How annoying! Hope your hand's better soon, has there been any improvement?

By the way, just saw this on AIBU, it's pretty juvenile but did make me giggle so thought it might cheer everyone up. The responses are the most amusing:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/1237046-In-thinking-he-should-call-my-lecturer-and-tell-them-what-he-did

Missgiraffe1 · 16/06/2011 15:20

Hehe, that is well funny, appeals to my juvenille sense of humour!

FX AF is gone Marathon, finished, kaput. Am touching all the wood around me (sorry, but that thread you posted a link to is making me read sexual innuendo into everything: 'touching the woodie'! I am obviously even more juvenille than I thought! Grin )

Didn't cross my mind that the tesco tests could be more sensitive than the CB ones - assumed the opposite actually. I bought a 2-pack (do I ever not?!) so will test again on thur, on wed, on tues at the weekend Smile if AF doesn't arrive.

Blue having googled extensively about faint 'v' dark lines, the stronger/darker line doesn't necessarily mean that you have more HcG than before. (Although, of course, we are totally, 100% willing to believe this IS the case when we are in that first few weeks of pg). I know you won't be able to get to that next point of moving on until it turns to bfn soon, so FX it happens soon.

The sun is out here today! Like a true saddo, I was very happy at getting my washing hung out Smile
