I hope you get somewhere with your dr tomorrow chloe.

Sorry af got you yrmotb.

That sounds hard harassed I hope that you are able to enjoy your evening, come back and chat if you need to.

That sounds a bit better Cep, hopefully it's all a phase that he is coming out of. I'll try to update the stats when I can but I find it hard on the phone so might not be everyday.

I'm feeling a bit down tonight...I am so sick of this bleeding, and not knowing where it's coming from or when it'll stop, or even where I am in my cycle :(. it's not getting heavier or lighter so I can't see where it'll end. I know that I should go to the dr but it means taking dd and the gp I saw last time was hopeless! On the plus side I mentioned that I was thinking of reflexology and dh said he had thought of booking me a session for mothers day so he's paying! And he wants to have a session himself. I'm quite looking forward to it.

OP posts:
cep · 28/03/2011 09:37

mel sorry you were feeling a bit low last night, i hope you're feeling better this morning. I think it would be a good idea to go to the dr's, any bleeding midcycle is supposed to be checked. does dd go to nursery? (sorry i can't remember)

well last night was horrendous (sp?) ds woke up at 3:30 and didn't go back to sleep at all. When DH got up earlier than usual he took ds down for breakfast so i could get some sleep, i was woken by ds headbutting my back and kicking me. I really don't know what's wrong with him lately, he seems to be getting really violent. I'm starting to wonder if dh is right and he has got adhd or something like it.

meliesmummy · 28/03/2011 09:49

Cep she goes to nursery on tues and thurs mornings, I'm working tonight so I'll be asleep tomorrow and I don't want to wait till thurs, luckily dh works about 10 mins walk from the surgery so he's going to try to come and sit with her for me, appointments at 10:20 with a more sensible gp. I've looked into it, a coloscopy (detailed cervical exam) wouldn't affect tcc and is safe during pg but a biopsy is best avoided so I'll see what he says. Your night sounds awful, that's all you need at the moment! How is his behaviour generally? I know you are probably sick of people saying this and it doesn't help but it's probably just a phase.

Any luck with the consultant Chloe?

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 28/03/2011 09:53

cep I would get back to your HV and express your concerns about his behaviour. Perhaps he has picked up on you being pg and is lashing out a little bit? Confused Is everything good between you and dh? My friend's little boy was a bit of a nightmare for a few months too but she was arguing quite a bit with her dp and since they have resolved their issues her dd has settled down again. Just a thought?

melie hope you are feeling a bit better this morning, the not knowing is so frustrating, believe me, I know!

Well, surprise surprise have been trying to get through to my hospital consultant's secvretary again today and it keeps ringing out, then switchboard eventually put me through to appointments who of course can't help me. I am so Angry It's like trying to get blood out of stone! Rang BUPA to see if I would be covered and of course, fertility treatment is not Sad I just feel so neglected at the moment and can't even voice my opinions as can't get through to anyone who can help me. Next appointment is July Hmm

Chloe55 · 28/03/2011 09:54

friend's ds, not dd obviously!

meliesmummy · 28/03/2011 10:04

chloe thats shocking, have you heard of PALS? They can help you make a complaint and get it sorted, I think it stands for patient advice liason service. They are probably online. Anyway, got to run for my appointment.

OP posts:
meliesmummy · 28/03/2011 11:12

Well...I'm none the wiser! He didn't want to examine me because he said it's hard to see what's what if there's bleeding. I guess i'll just have to see what happens this weekend. On the plus side though he said that when I'm pg that if I go to see him at 8 weeks he'll say I've been spotting and send me for a scan! He was really nice about it. And no bleeding since last night so fx it's stopped.

OP posts:
laylasmummy09 · 28/03/2011 11:46

hope your appointment goes well mel
i hope your ds lets you get some rest soon cep
and hello to everyone else

i havent posted for a while but ive been lurking ive been quite busy with my dds birthday and being ill and visiting family, my younger sister has been ttc for 2 years and found out last week that her pregnancy is ectopic, i am gutted for her, i wish i could introduce her to you ladies but she doesnt have internet Sad

im in to my 2ww very boring and only 5dpo according to ff so way way way too early to test and of course im symptom spotting Blush im not going to consider buying any tests until 12 dpo, im pretty sure i will get a -ve this month as i didnt dtd as much as i would have liked in my fertile period but i really hope we timed it right id love a december baby, good luck for thiks month ladies Smile

cep · 28/03/2011 12:22

chloe that's disgusting, how can they leave it with no way to get in contact with them. Like mel said maybe worth looking into the PALS. maybe make a formal complaint. we have been arguing a lot lately, but then we always did really, but the last few months have probably been worse than normal. I tried phoning hv no answer i'll call back later, they did mention coming round to the pigsty house so we may have to try that.

mel sorry you're none the wiser, it's good he'll refer you for a scan though. Did he say to come back when you weren't bleeding or did he just leave it at that? He's behaviour normally is a bit hit and miss, he doesn't do as he's told very often, used to shout a lot but has stopped that so much now. he goes to the hosp for ear appt's, and everytime we've been he's had glue ear, but as it hasn't seemed to effect his speech they're not worried. But i'm wondering now if it's getting worse, he's started saying "what" a lot more and seems to not hear me, but i just don't know if that's normal being male a toddler. He's very energetic/mischievious. Thing is that dss is nothing like ds, he always stayed where he was put, never got into things he wasn't supposed to. didn't talk till after 3, wasn't brave enough to run off and dh just isn't used to a child who's like ds.

Well told dr i'd had another little bleed, and she's arranging another scan for me mid to end of this week. She was concerned that i was just so tired and shaking so she's signed me off for the week. Boss loved that when i told him, and has asked me to take med cert in, they don't normally ask to bring it until you're actually back in office. Hmm At least then i can take ds to nursery and fall back into bed.

cep · 28/03/2011 12:24

sorry laylas i got carried away whinging talking about ds. I'm sorry to hear about your sister, it must be so difficult. fx for this month.

meliesmummy · 28/03/2011 12:59

Hi laylas, sad news about your sister. She must be gutted :(. I'm symptom spotting too, and for all I know I'm at the end of af, but my instinct says not. Cep he said to come back if I'm still concerned. I'm feeling more positive now though, every cloud and all that! I figure that if it was af at least my 2ww was short so we can get trying again! I'll just have to see what happens at the end of the week. Whats confusing me though is that if it was af I need to start opks again on Friday, as well as take a pg test because I'm day 27 on fri if it wasn't af, and then potentially come on on Saturday! My dd says what all the time, I think she just doesn't listen though, I think it's just a toddler thing in her case, have his nursery got any concerns? Enjoy your rest, let us know when your scan is x

I'm off for my nap. After tonight I'm off for 2 weeks (using up holiday I was meant to have when I was off sick)

OP posts:
cep · 28/03/2011 13:31

mel just to be on the safe sie, i'd do the opk's. i would probably try to not do a hpt until the sat though if that when af is/was due. Ds has flaked. He was getting down from the table his eyes were closing. i'm going to let him have an hour and then try to wake him up. Hmm normally wouldn't let him but he was awake from 3:30 so felt a bit mean not letting him today. I don't think so, they haven't said anything anyway. I think i may just be grasping at straws. Blush will do, is a bit frustrating they haven't called yet. The dr kept calling them last time and then called me, this one isn't. she also didn't tell me to collect the form (i asked she said no) the last one did, and they took it from me when i got there. so unsure as to what's happening.

laylasmummy09 · 28/03/2011 14:14

thanx cep and mel i hope you both get some answers soon, instinct is usually right IME so i have my fingers crossed for you and i hope if it is af like you said you will know where you are and you can get cracking again, i agree with cep re opk tests though just to make sure you dont miss an oppertunity.

cep · 28/03/2011 15:11

epu have called scan next tuesday as they don't scan within 2 weeks of another scan.

laylasmummy09 · 28/03/2011 15:33

not too long to wait cep though it will feel like ages away to you, im going to consider a little white lie when i get pregnant to get a scan at 8 weeks if i get that far as both my mc's were missed by three weeks but at the same time i really dont want to tempt fate Hmm

Don't think of it as tempting fate laylas think of it as being reassured, I will (hopefully) do the same. The GP said I could go to him and ask at 6 weeks but I would rather wait until 8+ as thats where the last baby got to.

Anyway, back to the playdoh!

OP posts:
Collie2 · 28/03/2011 16:09

Hi eveyone, welcome to the newbies that joined over the weekend. Sorry you find yourself here, tis a lovely thread full of support though.

cep poor you with ds, you must be shattered. I'm sorry I don't have any advice, I think just keep persevering and he'll settle down again. Do you think he could be attention seeking at all? Good news on the scan, nice of gp. Tuesday will come around and it gives you a focus.

chloe omg I am so sorry about the bleeding. That is really odd!! Glad it stopped and is not af, but hope it's nothing to worry about. Have you managed to speak to anyone yet? Your consultant sounds like a nightmare. Mels suggestion of PALS is a good one, the hospital should have one. They'll do the running around for you.

mels I'm sorry your body is still giving you the run around. Glad your gp was understanding enough about an early scan if you get a bfp, but sorry he wasn't much help on the bleed. Fx for you on Saturday.

yrmotb gutted for you that af arrived. Saw on t'other fred that your planning your summer hol to detract from cd1. Good plan, how's that going? I love holiday talk!

Waves to everyone else on thread. Sorry for not shouting out to everyone, I've been gone a few days do too much to catch up on.

Who asked about selenium? I took 1 tablet (selenium mixed with vit a, c and e) daily. Good for dh too. From holland and Barrett

Back from the lakes today. was nice to be away from home and with mum. Worried about her now though. She's still there with her dp, but he's not the most sentive of blokes and I worry she's bottling it all up. I had a lovely meal booked for the 2 of us on mothers day and I asked if she was still happy to go but she's asked me to cancel it, says she doesn't want a fuss Sad I'm a little flat as well today. Beautiful sunny day, and have been to the garden centre for plants to pot but just can't muster the motivation to do it.

Still no sypmtoms. Also have some really quite painful back/pelvic (cant tell which) pain over the weekend. Got me stressing all over again!

Reallyusefulengine · 28/03/2011 18:39

Hello all,

Sorry all, have been gone for another day and have lost the thread a bit. Started bleeding again even heavier than a week ago Confused

CEP You poor thing, as Collie2 said, you must be shattered. Am hoping it is just a phase and will be ironed out over the next couple of nights. Sleep deprivation is utter shit.

Chloe Am sorry to hear of your bleeding, you poor thing. It sounds like alot to endure.

Mels I had one reflexology session and got pregnant that month after 14 months of trying for a 2nd baby. I had had it years before because I used to puff up like a balloon before my period (when I was single and found looking 6 months pregnant wasn't attracting the boys). 1 session then and again, found the bloating went and never came back (these days its good old fat which loyally stays all month long) Grin. Absolutely wholeheartedly think it helps. I'd do it again but it has given me such happy results that I couldn't bear it if it didn't help this time Sad.

Did have acupuncture today though which was kind of good but I was told to categorically not try for a baby for another 2-3 cycles as I was running on empty - not enough blood to sustain anything. I have managed to talk the acupuncturist into monitoring me and maybe changing her mind in a month if I've made progress.

cep · 28/03/2011 18:47

collie sorry about your mum, are you going to spend mother's day with her even if not going out?

Got through to hv's but typically the one i need to speak to isn't in till wednesday, so she's going to have a chat with her and get her to call me then.

Collie2 · 28/03/2011 19:46

Said if she came over i'd make her a nice breakfast. Think she wants to do her own thing in the day but i'll she what she says closer to the time. If i don't have the day with her i'll probably pop in on her in the evening for a Brew too and shes only 10 mins away.

Sorry you haven't got through to the hv you need. hope you get some help on weds.x

Hi everyone.

Still confused here! Had a tiny amount of pink mucous overnight, but also LOADS of clear cm????!!!! And I felt really sick this morning. Did a test, bfn, but im not sure it counts as fmu because I had been up all night and drank a carton of apple juice on the way home. And work was v busy so I didn't get a rest break in the early hours so I was really tired (actually I still am!) so maybe I felt sick because of that?

collie I hope that you and your mum are able to enjoy mothers day. Any symptoms today?

Any luck with the hospital Chloe?

How's your ds Cep?

I've booked my reflexology for Thursday morning RUE. although I'm bait worried because since booking it says that he doesn't treat during pg so I'm worried because my cycle is so messed up he won't do me? Plus I've got a horrible itchy patch on one of my toes (I think it's an insect bite that I scratched too much and the skins gone all flaky) it looks gross tbh and he might recoil in horror!
