No news here other than the cramping continues. Doctor and EPU are stumped. They don't know what it is and its pretty rare to have it this bad apparently. They said if the 5 week scan looks on track and I have no bleeding then its probably going to be fine....hmmm.....i have another scan at 8 weeks so it will be a long week (2 weeks 3 days to be exact) until then. Hoping the bean sticks so I can get a look at it!

Omg! I am in agony its like very strong period pains is this normal when you ov? Its so sore is it a good thing/bad thing or should i call the doctor never really get periods this sore very confused?!

Yay lily fantastic news, so pleased for you!!

Sorry to hear about the cramps bump glad you're getting scanned but how annoying for you, am sending sticky bean thoughts and hoping the pain gets better. I am 6 or 7dpo and have held off POAS so far (so want to now as all excited by lilys news!) I have tests on order and will probably cave tuesday (10 or 11dpo)......excited and nervous at the same time!

olis hope you're ok - has the pain got any worse? Sorry I can't offer much advice, I get some twinges like stabbing pains around O but nothing else - big hugs, hope all is ok.

I have a BFP this week yay, but not getting hopes up too much as the last two ended up in a MC. Keep knicker checking, and thinking is this the day that I will MC. Evey little twinge I am thinking is this it uh oh MC. Hopefully I wont be on here weeping again

Thanks, everyone. I'm excited but terrifed too. Still have AF type cramps, couldn't sleep at all last night. Told DH and he's really happy, but decided we're not going to tell anyone else for a good few weeks yet. I want to make sure its a) in the right place this time and b) going to stick.

Piglet that's great news, though I know exactly how you're feeling. I've already put a stack of pantyliners and white toilet roll in my handbag, just so I can check a million times a day!

Olis I do sometimes get really bad ov pains, much worse that AF and higher up. Its worth seeing your GP anyway though, its something they should be aware of.

Bump sorry your pains are still no better. I really hope they manage to sort something out for you soon.

Loup hang out til AF due if you can (says she who didn't!). I tested on Monday and got a definate negative and I was so depressed, almost didn't bother to test again at all. And even yesterday am the asda one was pretty inconclusive.

lily i told work incase i was ill but didn't tell family till passed 12week scan, and even when i did finally tell them felt ike i'd tempted fate.

loup as difficult as it is the best thing to do is wait till the day you're due.

oli how are the pains?? if they're still really strong i'd call your gp. I know some women feel it when they ovulate but i never did so can't advise you unfortunately. I'm very bout your weight loss by the way, you're doing really well.

Pains away this morning yey! I am away to cat show never been before i am a bit animal mad i have 4 dogs and a cat so i am looking forward to it. I am still sat at a stone off as i have had to include essential if i do fall pregnant but it is very small portions so hoping to lose more.

Thanks for your advice girls, I know I should wait for AF although not sure exactly when that is as o'd earlier this month after mc..... I know I am only 7 or 8 dpo today so way too early, so just hoping I can get through a good part of next week before caving . It took until 13/14dpo last time ...... Wishing this week away.

Cep I think if all is ok in a couple of weeks I'll tell my parents and probably DH's family. I see my mum every day and its been really hard today not saying anything, but I think its best for now.

Does anyone know what the safety advice is about lifting things while pg? I have to lift stuff 10kg-25kg several times a day and was very cautious about what I did today, but wondering if I'm over reacting or whether I need to keep away from the heavy things for while. Should add that its my shop, so there's no-one making me do it, just me!

lily I am ok thanks, trying not to think about it and to relax more, gosh thats a cliche. Hope all goes well for you too, and it sticks and have a lovely baby at the end

Cat show was great! i was just visiting, I fell in love with the sphnx cat (the naked ones) I think i may get a kitten my last pet though i have 4 dogs and 1 cat already!

Other than that my diet broke today i had a whopper, cookies, lots of wine back on the band wagon tomorrow.

All is great here thanks lily. I had my 12 week scan on Thursday and they put me 1 week ahead of my dates, so I'm thrilled to have got passed the big danger point. I've pretty much announced to the world now. I know things can still go wrong, but I'm feeling more positive and excited.

I'm hoping your first 12 weeks fly by in an uneventful manner. With regards to lifting, I would avoid the heavier items. Your ligaments will be stretching an awful lot as it expands, and lifting something heavy might result in an injury. Do you have someone to help you in the shop?

Nina that's great news, fx for an uneventful few months for you! Thanks for the advice re lifting, makes sense. DH helps with the heavy deliveries most of the time, its just when one arrives unexpectedly or an elderly customer needs some help. I think it'll be ok once I can tell people, its just the first few weeks. Maybe I can blaim my shoulder or something just for now.

Piglet how's things today?

Olis that sounds like a fun day out. One of the county shows near us had a cat show in one of the tents a few years back - the cage had net curtains in, some had glittery kitty litter and others had little frilly edges around the litter trays, all very bizzare! I would be overrun with animals here if I had my way, DH tends to put his foot down. So far we've got a cat, chickens and fish.

Yay lily!!!!! ! That's lovely news. How are you feeling? I would take it as easy as you can at the moment.

I hope the next 2 weeks is as boring as possible but flies by for you then bump!

olis I had horrific ov pains some months ago, and very strong positives on an opk for 3 days in a row...I've always wondered if perhaps I released 2 eggs that month? Obviously I'll never know!

Great news on the scan ninu! Have you decided what to do about moving?

Ppw was fab thanks Cep! Very busy in the morning so we did a few rides then went out into the rest of the park and we went back into ppw in the late afternoon, it was much quieter then. It is all so new and lovely. Dd enjoyed the rest of the park too, she especially enjoyed a rollercoaster called stinger that dh took her on (I hate rollercoasters but I'm fine with most other things!) The only thing she was scared of was the wind in the willows house, I have to admit that the darkness and animatronics (sp?) was freaky! The food there was a bit rubbish though. We spent today at manor farm which was lovely.

Well I'm still bleeding, it's a week now! It's getting annoying.
