7dpo... Could vomitting be pg related or have I eaten something dodgy?

maybebabyR · 28/03/2011 13:48

Ah, tanif

vom is never good Sad

There are a lot of bugs going around at the moment, and 7DPO may be a bit too soon. Is there any chancve you ovulated earlier?

Tanif · 28/03/2011 13:58

maybe I haven't really been tracking. I'm basing my ov date on when I had pains and pinkish EWCM. I also appear to have Montgomery's Tubercules on both nipples, but especially the right one, very red and sore. All this means is I'm going to be horribly disappointed next week.

maybebabyR · 28/03/2011 14:01

Oh bless you. Maybe you have ov early Smile

Keep your chin up though, you never know what next week will bring Smile

Tanif · 28/03/2011 14:20

I think I probably just learned a valuable lesson about the local pizza shop lol.

sevendwarves · 28/03/2011 14:53

Congratulations pippy

My Internet cheapies arrived so I POAS, BFN obviously. spidookly you're welcome to tell me off, I deserve it Blush

MickyLee · 28/03/2011 15:33

Congratulations pippy and great news for you tanif FX you get a BFP too.

Thanks for the messages about SIL.. sadly just spoke to her and her baby has Edwards Disorder. She is of course completely heartbroken but going to leave her (baby is a girl) in Gods hands and not terminate. She is hoping to at least have a few hours with her :(

whitegold · 28/03/2011 15:33

Afternoon everyone - ooh loads to catch up on!

Congrats to pippy & rew Grin

tanif hope you're feeling better soon.

I am finally on CD8 and af has gone, yep its that time again! Going to try to get in as much swi as possible over the next couple of weeks and hopefully still be in with a chance of a December baby Smile

seven I'm going to order some internet cheapies this month too, but like you I'd probably POAS as soon as they arrived! Need to try to hold off as long as poss before ordering them! I saw some on ebay, think it was 20 for a couple of quid - would these be worth getting do you think or should I get better quality tests?

whitegold · 28/03/2011 15:35

Micky Sad

BlueCrane · 28/03/2011 15:38

Since I've decided that I'm officially in the 2ww (only because I now seem to be entering the realms of 2weeks before estimated AF due date rather than anything more technical) I have decided that I may try an internet cheapie on Saturday but will save my FR's until later next week Smile eitherway we'll be keeping up the SWI right through to AF or BFP just in case Wink

Clearly there's still time seven was a tad early for you today anyway Smile

ThePippy · 28/03/2011 15:43

Thanks all.

seven it would have been wrong for you not to try a stick out - got to check you didn't get a dodgy batch or anything!!

micky so sorry about your SIL. My cousin had a baby with Edwards Syndrome - in fact was preg with twins so had no choice but to leave it to the gods as selective operation would have risked the other twin. She had a few hours with her baby boy in the end, but I have to say the baby had some fairly major physical abnormalities. I'm sure the doc's will have prepared your SIL for all of this, but I suspect it will be very tough on her. Cousin now has a lovely DD (the successful twin) but her birthday every year is a very big mix of sadness and happiness. Life is so unfair sometimes.

BlueCrane · 28/03/2011 15:44

micky so sorry to hear that for your SIL...

Tanif · 28/03/2011 15:48

Micky your poor SIL must be devastated. Life can be so cruel and unfair sometimes, you read every day in the papers about negligent mothers having 5,6,7+ children that are taken away from them at birth, and then people that would be genuinely amazing parents get all the s**t thrown at them :(

maybebabyR · 28/03/2011 15:48

So sorry to hear that micky x

Nell799 · 28/03/2011 15:49

Congratulations on all the BFP!

Micky sorry to hear about your SIL, that must be a horrible thing to go through.

I've been getting period pain cramps today, like I am just about to come on any minute, and I was due on today, is that normal?

whitegold · 28/03/2011 16:04

nell can't talk from experience but I've heard loads of people say they had cramps when af would have been due and maybe even a small amount of light bleeding, but that everything was fine.

Try not to worry Smile

ThePippy · 28/03/2011 16:10

nell I had cramps from the usual number of days before AF was due every time I have been pregnant (4 times). In fact 1st ever pregnancy was an accident and I left it a whole week past AF due date to test (even though my cycles at that point were clockwork) because I continued to have cramps for the whole week and was thinking AF about to arrive any minute. this was long before the days of obsessive about OV, luteal phases, 2WW etc and I really wasn't paying attention to any other signs.

So I would say for sure it could be pregnancy or AF - I ignore cramps as a symptom now as a result. Only one way to know! Good luck!

orangehead · 28/03/2011 16:11

Oh Mickey Sad I dont know what to say. Im really sorry.
Nell that normal, had that with all mine, with two of them some light bleeding as well but all ok

sevendwarves · 28/03/2011 16:53

whitegold the ones I got were £1.99 for 20.

Micky I'm so sorry, what an awful decision to have to make :(

peapop · 28/03/2011 16:53

mickey I'm so so sorry to read about your sil.

tanif so pleased you can carry on ttc and I really do hope everything is ok.

Congratulations pippy and rew what lovely news to start the week with!!

AF is still dragging on for me, back to spotting now. Wish it would just hurry up so I can start pooting! Grin

sevendwarves · 28/03/2011 17:28

Blue I know there's still plenty of time, I'm not ruling it out yet. I'm never sure how early I could get a BFN with my long luteal phase tbh. It's still 8 days before AF is due which is stupidly early to test but I'm already 9dpo.

dollysgirl · 28/03/2011 17:45

awh rew congrats!!!! so uplifting to hear good news yey!

micky thats much better news;maybe puts it into perspective at least baby is still here :-) i have dd with special needs and they truly are special trust me...

BLUE i did another opk this morning- negative again!!! its cd 13 for me so i guess there is still time-i refuse to do 2 a day thus buy more!!! im thinking,my last cycle was 25 days and i ovd day 11 according to cbopk,so am i right in thinking that if my cycle can be 25-30 days, then the day i ovulate could change by 5 days too ??so i could get a positive on day 16 at the latest IYSWIM ?i will also start temping next mth if im not successful, but will probably use some cheaper opks too, just to compare temping and opk's ( though i havnt a clue what im doing with temping :-s ) have u got a positive yet?still time for you also, but like u say just keep swi anyway! weve swi every other night since cd5 , but im worried its all for nothing as im not going to ovulate anyway :( guna keep testing another 5 days till cd18 then stop as iv got only 5 left..
