Hi ladies,
AF arrived with a vengence this morning, am in bits with cramps. Was not expecting it either as had no pms or my usual symptoms. Strange. Confused

Sorry to read about the sadness some of you have experienced and my thoughts are with you.

Congrats to all the ladies wth BFP!! And best of luck to those still on the December bus!

I'd best go run for the January 2012 bus now..! I'll pop back in here to see ya all. And thank you, I've really enjoyed my first bus trip!

spidookly · 25/03/2011 12:42

Awwww Livin :(

Bang on time too :(

Sorry you are feeling so rubbish. Are you really for the January bus? Surely we have a few more days of last days of December for people getting AF now?

LB1982 · 25/03/2011 12:43

Sorry to hear that Livin :( And everyone else who has been caught by the witch! Very spot on though Livin so it's good that you have a very regular cycle :) All the best of luck on the January Bus! I may come and join you soon (but hopefully not if you know what I mean).

This is my first bus trip too and I agree - Very enjoyable. Everyone is very funny and nice and it keeps spirits high :)

LivinInTheMoment · 25/03/2011 12:54

Oh My God! I just checked the Due Date calculator after posting that and if I get pg this month, I'll have a due date of 30th December!!

Looks like I can sit back down! Phew!

Yes Spidookly and LB it looks like I have a pretty regular cycle! After being on the pill for years and years I was not sure.

Great to be here still! I'll just settle down now with my hot water bottle and later on this evening can enjoy some glasses of wine Wink

75sarah · 25/03/2011 12:56

Congratulations Popsy, Nell and Iknow. Fantastic news on those Christmas babies.

I'm sitting here quietly at the back as this is my first bus trip, but fx to everyone trying x

Well it looks like if I'm out this month, I may be off the next few. Got my smear test results back this morning and I apparently have mild dyskaryosis and they're suggesting no babies until everything is cleared up. Very annoyed as apparently it's caused by an STI, I'd been begging DP to get checked (he was my first sexual partner so anything I've caught, I've caught from him) and he kept dragging his heels.

dollysgirl · 25/03/2011 13:01

thanks spidookly,ucl is 25-30days so i average it at 27 x

spidookly · 25/03/2011 13:01

im sorry to hear that LIVIN,i was just the same last mth-none of the usual pmt ( i actually im sure its pmdd but thats another board alltogether!!) and felt very calm and quietly confident- then BAM!! af came 3 days early out the blue... but once she was here i thought its better that she didnt tease me for a few more days and me be getting my hopes up to b crushed by her knocking!! still a chance for a 2011 baby tho,so she can be just about tolerated hey! fx for you x

spidookly · 25/03/2011 13:11

Oh no Tanif, that is terrible :( You poor thing, you must be very upset.

Men are rubbish at going to the doctor, aren't they? Angry Don't be too hard on him, I'm sure he thought there was nothing to worry about.

Although, it is good that it was caught now.

What if you're already pregnant? Confused. I presume they covered this with you?

spidookly haven't had a chance to speak with the doctor yet. If I am, the leaflet I had sent out said they would wait until the baby had been born to continue any treatment. I'm in two minds about what to do, my mum had the same thing happen and nearly two years later they're still messing about giving her six-monthly check ups. I'm not willing to put starting a family on hold indefinitely so part of me thinks just continue trying.

sevendwarves · 25/03/2011 13:17

Sorry AF got you Livin, glad you can stay here though, just don't throw cake with those troublemakers at the back!

sorry tanif how awful for you, at least they've caught it though. I'm now scared as I didn't get to have my smear done.

blushingm · 25/03/2011 13:21

sorry to hear that tanif - my friend found out by accident after 2 babies that she'd got clamydia (sp??)

it would have been impossible for her dp to have had sex with anyone else (he was waiting for surgery) between concieving and her finding out and she hadn't either so it must have meant she'd had it the whole time (over 4 years)

sorry AF caught you Livin - she's witch - glad you can stay with us on this bus though

sevendwarves · 25/03/2011 13:22

tanif I'd ask about worst case scenario of not getting it treated for a few months (or google if you're brave enough). As this is your 2nd cycle can I ask if you were using condoms before ttc, in other words could you have had it long?

Tanif · 25/03/2011 13:26

seven I've been with DP for ages, been on the pill for several years, though we did use condoms initially. I know I can't have caught anything from anyone else because, like I said, I haven't had sex with anyone else ever!

Poppyjen · 25/03/2011 13:32

Hi ladies Smile its an amazing sunny day here, hope you can all get out and get some lovely vitamin D into your systems!

Tanif it is great that they picked that up and that they can now do something about it, Sad that it may affect your ttc plans though. Fx that this is your month and that you don't have to think about it too long!

Sorry to hear that AF has decided to visit some of our fellow passengers, but extremely pleased that some of you will be staying with us Grin

Congratulations to all with BFPs so far - excellent work, and I am liking the fact that so many are getting second chances on the same bus - that's got to be a good thing!

Update for me today, another Confused day I am afraid. I have had another appearance of EWCM which is now making me second guess whether I actually did ovulate on 17th at all....and for those of you interested in that kind of thing yes I did check it was EWCM, glass of water and all Blush WTF, to coin a phrase ladies, W T F.

Still planning to act as if 31st is AF due date (as 2 weeks after suspected LATE ovulation) so hopefully there will be some clarity soon.

Feeling mightily frustrated today I have to say.

LB1982 · 25/03/2011 13:32

Hello Tanif. Just thought i'd share my experience. I had moderate dyskaryosis 2 years ago (CIN2). I was told that if it's mild (CIN1) that they don't do anything and just keep sending you for smears to see if it clears up on it's own (which most of the time it apparently does). Apparently CIN1 can be evident for many reasons - sometimes it's a mistake or discharge can cause it. Only when you get to CIN2 or 3 is it definite and the cells need to be removed. This is what I was told or read up on - Have no idea if it's correct!

I got pg one month after having cells removed and mc at 6 weeks :( Silly of me really. It was not planned but I assume the removal of cells caused the mc.

Anyway, all is now well and I got the all clear in June last year :) Back to yearly smears.

xstitch · 25/03/2011 13:34

:( tanif.

The only thing stopping me from testing is not having any tests in the house. I know sensibly it is way too early but can't help wanting to know.

Tanif · 25/03/2011 13:36

LB thanks, you've made me feel a lot better :)

I'm mulling it over and I think I'm going to just carry on ttc. There's no guarantee we'll get luck before the next test is due in September, and if we do, it'll just have to be a few months late for the next test. From what I can read, these things take years to develop into anything dangerous, so might as well carry on trying until I know more for sure.

MickyLee · 25/03/2011 13:36

:( Tanif, you must be very upset. Hope you get treatment soon so you can carry on TTC

sevendwarves · 25/03/2011 16:16

tanif if you've been off condoms for a long while then you must have had it for a long while, that's what I was getting at. If it obviously hasn't done any harm then surely up to another year won't hurt while you ttc.

weimy · 25/03/2011 16:27

Congratulations Popsy, Nell and Iknow!!!!

tanif :( xx

Cd1 here so I'm still on this bus if I ov on my usual day :)

spidookly · 25/03/2011 16:44

"If it obviously hasn't done any harm then surely up to another year won't hurt while you ttc."

IANAD but I don't think that is very good advice (sorry seven)

Tanif - I think you need to see a doctor and find out what level you have and what treatment is intended before you keep TTC.

The likelihood here is that everything is fine, but the consequences could be very serious if you make the wrong decision here. Get armed with all the facts of your case before you continue TTC.
