hi ladies,
daisy I think a card is spot on, I am sure she will appreciate knowing that her baby is being remembered, and that people know their baby's name. I dont know your mc history and whether you have passed your own dd yet, but I found on mine that the days and weeks leading up to it were worse than the day itself. A lot of ladies on the Tighties-Whities-mc thread said the same, so your friend might appreciated some extra understanding at that time as well. What a nice friend you are.
collie what sad news, I'm sorry. My much loved grandmother passed away while I was pregnant with DS. Its such a sad thing but I am sure it wont affect your pregnancy in anyway. Dont be afraid to grieve and cry if you want to, you wont hurt your baby.
WIW I hear from the recurrent mc thread that the NHS are just starting a large trial on progesterone (St Mary's RMC) so even thought the evidence is sketchy, its seems they havent given up the ghost on progesterone use altogether. Its routinely prescribed over here (Costa Rica) for ladies pregnancy after mc, my sister in law used it during her last two pregnancies.
Orange jealous of your new bras! I got some manky old ones out of the cupboard from last time, would love some new ones but still feeling too tired and pukey to go out shopping.
Irene You know its safe to take paracetomol right? Have you tried making your own lemsip? Hot lemon, honey and crushed paracetomol? ..and if your nose is really blocked, try snorting salt water. Its really gross (especially if it goes down your throat - blearuuurghhh!) but it really clears you out. Hope you feel better soon.
