Oh deliah i'm so sorry, fingers crossed for you.

Have just had hilarious cat/bath/poo incident but it seems trite now Sad

Daisybell1 · 16/03/2011 18:49

Delilah I mean! Sorry!

katherine2008 · 16/03/2011 19:26

Daisy we need a poo story!

MummyAbroad · 16/03/2011 19:31

Delilah so sorry you are worried. If it really is an mc then you can ask (insist) your GP to refer you to a recurrent miscarriage clinic. Dont know where you are in the country but St Mary's in London is the best. There are many many more tests on offer there than your GP/Fertility clinic can offer. If it comes to it, have a look at the Reccurrent Buns testing thread (you will recognise a lot of names!)I really hope that is doesnt come to any of that though, fingers crossed for you!

Nix Heroin? Really? Or is that your predicitive text messing with us?Grin

Had my scan and all is very good - measuring bang on for dates and heartbeat is 120.Grin Got myself some meds for sickness and am trying them out now.

nickstermum · 16/03/2011 19:35

MA YEY for scan, fab news Grin diamorphine is heroin and pethadine is a derivative of heroin.........

Very relaxing! But not what i would choose again. (I didnt know it at the time.... nor was i aware it only lasted for a couple of hours!!... not good when in est labour for 17 hours i suppose hence epidural Confused)

But.. definately not going there with my birth story! G&A recommended though Grin

Daisybell1 · 16/03/2011 19:37

To set the scene, my darling cat is my soul-mate. We've been together 12 years and are inseparable.

OH has been in charge of poo palace (covered litter tray) since my BFP. I warned him a couple of days ago that it may need clearing out.

Anyway, he hasn't done it and on going up for a bath this evening found she'd pooed in the bath in protest! Result - go girl!

cep · 16/03/2011 19:42

mummya yay that's great news, so pleased for you.... so how long till you book another one?

Velvetcu · 16/03/2011 19:46

mummya great scan news :)

delilah sorry you are worried, fx its nothing.

hotnspicyonions · 16/03/2011 20:08

Delilah FX and everything else for you

Tunnocks fab news on scan. We're DD twins (until I go for scan & then maybe not!)

MummyA great news on your scan too.

Daisy I find it hilarious that cats always poo in the bath. Go girl, your poop palace needs a spring clean Smile

So glad to see it's not just me eating my bodyweight in food! I'm currently lounging on the sofa looking not all that dissimilar to Jabba the Hut from Star Wars, after eating half a chicken kebab with chilli sauce, half cheeseburger, chips & garlic mushrooms. I feel Shock Blush [ashamed emoticon]! What the bloomin heck is this bean doing to me???
Am also v tired. Worked last night til 11.30, then was awake for a couple of hours during the night, and feeling a bit sick. Gonna take a stash of some kind in case it happens again. Then was at school this morning listening to reading!
Am also very pleased with DS progress at school. He is not 5 til May and has already learnt his keywords and has moved onto spelling. He's on stage 3 of his reading (one of only 4 in a class of 30) and since he's one of the youngest, we're clearly doing something right as parents Grin (Apologies for gloating but v v v chuffed!)

Where's that virtual G&T? Oh that's right, I've just got the T tonight!

KnitterNotTwitter · 16/03/2011 20:16

delilah so sorry it's not looking good. Definitely go to the doctors and make a HUGE fuss. If you have private medical through work also give them a ring and see if any consultants etc are covered by that...

mummya lovely news - really pleased for you

re iced buns: my favourite ones are M&S Iced Spiced buns - totally delicious... May have to track some down tomorrow now you've put the thought in my head...

Sorry to post and run on the birth/shoes story but I suddenly remembered I had a physio appointment... Got there 1 minute late having cycled like a maniac and been VERY lucky with the traffic lights...

Basically my shoe ended up in the fridge in A&E because I lost it in the ambulance (I was only wearing pants, dressing gown and shoes at this point and lost 50% of my outfit - they thought I would deliver in the ambulance so took my pants off and shoe came off too...! When I got to Maternity Ward I lost my other shoe in the prat obstetrician's office while he was exclaiming how amazing it was that I'd gone form 2cm to 8cm in just under an hour...

As they left us Ambulance people promised to find my shoe and hand it in at A&E. They found shoe, popped it in a sainsbury's bag and handed it into A&E reception. One of the nurses there thought it was her lunch so popped it in the staff fridge...! DH had a mammoth mission to track down my shoes as I was doing that totally irrational post birth thing of refusing to leave the hospital without them.... Took 3 trips to A&E before someone identified that their sandwiches were chewier than normal!

mamapower · 16/03/2011 20:21

Delilah so sorry to hear that hon, fx it stops (((hugs)))

Daisy PMSL Grin Grin

mummya whooop Grin glad the scan went well and good luck with the anti sickness med's oh and great link, dh was Shock at what happens!

I just had melt down Sad I am struggling with my never ending business, moving, day job 'to do' lists and with feeling shite and tired all the time, the final straw was that Facebook admin fooked up our business page and I had to start again and to cap it all, I actually don't like what the web designer's done with our web page and just burst into tears on dh wailing 'I can't cope, it's too much'!! Oh dear! I think when I look back I might wonder how I have done it!

mamapower · 16/03/2011 20:23

KnitterNotTwitter · 16/03/2011 20:25

Thanks mamap Full birth story for DS is full of comedy moments but probably not for here! Sorry work is tough at the moment. My advice would be to get a good nights sleep and it'll all seem much better in the morning ;-)

MummyAbroad · 16/03/2011 20:26

GrinGrinGrinGrin great sroy knitter totally worth the wait!

MummyAbroad · 16/03/2011 20:27

MummyAbroad · 16/03/2011 20:51

mamap sounds like you are doing a fab job, lesser souls would have collapsed and given in a long time ago. Celebrate your successes and remember its alright to have a little cry and a wobble (blame the hormones excuse) if you need to. Big squeeze for you xxx

tiggersreturn · 16/03/2011 20:58

Knitter that's a great story.

Delilah - sorry to hear your news.

nickstermum · 16/03/2011 21:05

morning!

delilah how is the bleeding this morning? Hope it's eased off Smile

Wombat33 · 17/03/2011 09:01

Morning all! Fab scan news mummya! Hope the sickness pills work.

delilah how are you this morning?

Do we have any scanners today?

Daisybell1 · 17/03/2011 09:07

Morning all

Hope you're ok Delilah

Mamap don't worry about wailing - I am one of those lesser mortals who has just caved in over something minor. You have got an amazing amount on your plate and are doing amazingly!

I am trying to make myself feel better that we must have so much on-going adrenalin which gets us through all this, and sometimes it just runs out. I would be wailing and gnashing teeth if I was you too! Hope a long sleep has helped for you and you're feeling better.

Knitter love your story, although slightly concerned about the 'nearly delivering in the ambulance' bit.... (live 45mins away from nearest hospital)

HotnSpicy I'm also eating for Britain, have convinced myself I feel wobbly if I stop. I'm even managing to out-eat the farmer Confused

Oh sod it, breakfast muffin anyone? Grin

KnitterNotTwitter · 17/03/2011 09:54

Morning

Daisy In the end I was actually about 3 hours off delivering - mostly because I was off with the gas and air fairies... Mind you whole labour was 7hrs and DS was 10lb 6oz so I think i was quite entitled to make the fuss I did :)

Delilah FX you've had a good night.... let us know if you can
