Really sorry to hear ERTD hit you Tomboy, but you were so SO late I don't see how it can have been anything other than a chemical pg, so that's definitely something to hang on to.

Keep calm and carry on.... Wink

Still waiting for my ERTD, only one day late but getting the BFN makes you impatient, doesn't it, as you just want to get going on with the next cycle.
phooey I'm pretty certain I didn't lay an egg this month - I had a weird early, short but heavy ERTD last month and the opk didn't pick up any LH surge this month... Who knows what the hecks going on, I've always been regular as clockwork and it's only since we've been TTC that things have got all out of kilter!

Tomboy so sorry to hear about ERTD, it does sound as though something was going on, so fingers crossed for next time.

Morning all,

Well am annoyed at myself as i cracked this morning and POAS as i had a dream about getting a positive test.
Anywhoo, as you can imagine it was a BFN. Not sure why i'm gutted as i'm 4 days away from AF due and still only 12 days (at most) PO and therefore had a inkling it would be a BFN but some part of me thought it may not - am i making sense or am i just waffling?!

Mahoosive congrats to Lizzy I would love to offer you a glass of Wine (yes even this early in the morning! but i'm afraid it's {brew} for you now. Clink!!

How's everyone else?

Don't give up hope yet Daiso I had a BFN the day before yesterday...

I am so excited, I can't believe I'm pregnant again already. I had a miscarriage less than 4 weeks ago, so I am really surprised, but also a bit worried that the bean might not hold on.

Thanks for the congratulations from everyone, I hope I don't need your commiserations in a few days like last month.

Daiso · 13/03/2011 09:31

Ooh that has perked me up a bit Smile

My friend MC'd and caught approx 7 weeks later and is now 13 weeks and all fine so sending all those positive vibes your way. I shall keep my fingers crossed for you ( but not my legs i'm afraid as they are pretty useful staying open at times Wink )

Tomboy, sorry to hear about ERTD. Bodies can be really cruel sometimes.

Yeeeaahh Lizzy Smile !!!

Big, big congrats, make sure you are treated like a princess from hereonin.

Daiso don't feel too down, it was far too early to test - I did it to when 12dpo Blush this could still be your month! Don't buy any more sticks and you can't be tempted to POAS again.

I've had brown blood for 3 days, just finishing off now. Soooo hoping it's implantation bleeding but I doubt it is. I don't understand my body - I always get this before ERTD, why does my body produce old blood before red blood?! Confused if anyone has a biological answer, please share so I understand what's going on and can possibly spot the difference between thus and implantation bleeding.

Just nipping in to say huge congrats to Lizzy and hope you are enjoying the excitement & trying to ignore the nerves!

Tomboy I'm really sorry that this cycle has messed you about so much. Am really keeping my fingers crossed very tightly for you now you're at the start of a new one. (((((hugs)))))

Also Phooey I had no symptoms and was convinced this was another babyfail cycle for us. I felt nauseous all afternoon on Thursday and had a strong urge to test when I got home from work. I'm still not getting strong pg symptoms but believe that's normal this early on (am exactly 4 weeks today!) Fingers crossed for you!

Finally, we are having a fabulous weekend. Gorgeous hotel, room with our own french doors and patio, beautiful spa / pool etc and an amazing dinner last night in the 2 michelin star restaurant! We've had a walk round the gardens this morning and are planning more pool time this afternoon. They even have Becks Blue so I can join in with DH having a beer! Late thanks for thinking of us, it's so great to have a brilliant support group on here and that really made me smile! Of course we keep catching eachother grinning like idiots and have indulged in a little baby chat!

Thanks for the invite to the grads thread ladies, may feel brave enough to head over to join you next weeks when am back in the real world Grin

Huge congrats Lizzy! Grin

Sorry about BFN Daiso. Way too early though, so wait and see what happens in the next few days. You may yet be the next to move to the grads.

We're off to America tomorrow (we were meant to be going somewhere else this weekend, but we decided to cancel that as the stress of going, getting back, and then heading to the airport 12 hours later was going to be way too much). I'll try to look in from time to time, but I'm not sure how often I'll be able to. DH is looking forward to some nice, stress-free holiday SWI. Grin

Hello all,

Well, this is me. Somebeans TTC#1, Cycle 2, UCL 28, CD18

Having spent my 20s trying not TTC decided in November with DH that we would 'see what happens'. Since then have got obsessed and have been stalking forums, have just joined and this is 1st post!

Used OPK (firstresponse, was BOGOF in Boots), got a positive OPK line on CD14 and BD'd. Now HATING the 2ww.......

You're in the right place somebeans, good luck with TTCing.

phooey didn't plan timing much, figured it would probably happen some time in the next 6 months, so am a little surprised! I only came off the pill in December, and have had a miscarriage in that time. I think my body has forgotten what a period is! I think it probably is pretty good timing, but I really couldn't care less when its born, just that I made my baybee!

Truff we can hold hands on the grads thread, but I'm not sure I'm quite brave enough yet! [goes across for a little stalk to see if it is comfy in the grads thread emoticon]

Seems like you're NOT in the right place LizzyMathsWhizzy, many congrats to you and Truff.

I am also a Maths teacher, apparently us teachers like to have control in our life so that's why we get so obsessed TTC.

Ha ha, you may be right somebeans! lol, I put my foot in the door of the grads thread, but I think I'm going to pee on a few more sticks before I'm totally convinced. I definitely haven't done 4 today... all positive, so I'm trying to believe it! I think I'm going to reduce it to one a day from now on. I have 12 left, so that should reassure me a bit. I have one fancy digital, so I think I will save that for a few days yet, I have a superstition that once I see the word pregnant it must be true, but if I see not pregnant I will be devastated, and it isn't quite as sensitive as the internet cheapies.

Me, me, me, me, me Sorry everyone!

So I went shopping at Bluewater today to cheer myself up as DH away on business in Taiwan and I've been at home variously fretting about him and fretting about symptom-spotting.

Went for a pee... and major red blood. Yes it's the wonderful shitty ERTD Sad

Back to square one for me, CD 1 here. Good luck to those due in next few days, hope your undercarriages are red-free zones.

On the plus side I bought some lovely new clothes and a bottle of red wine Wine Smile

Welcome somebeans another fellow teacher!
