I think you can get a positive or a negative test with a chemical pregnancy - so hard to tell I think hon.

No, thanks for asking, I haven't got any more tests at home and am scared to get another BFN to be honest, so am waiting. Probably try again tomorrow. I am still quite hopeful due to the spotting I had fitting the description and timing of implantation bleeding so perfectly, but also worried because I have had cycles like this before.
Thinking about it, am fairly certain that OV was delayed a little bit by stress about three weeks ago, so the dates on my calendar are probably right. Which means the spotting was 10dpo and I am three days late. Not sure how good the test I used was - it said it was for early testing but was Morrisons own.

hmmm... odd one-sided stabbing-type pain. Not pain as such, maybe more a sensation? Perhaps being over obsessive observant but maybe OV?

On day 12 so wouldn't be out of place.

Can anyone describe what it feels like for them?

(or tell me to stop over-thinking things if more appropriate)

BFPs coming along like buses now!

Lucy, I never noticed ov until I started TTC and really looking out for it - last month I felt something similar to a stitch clearly on the right side of my abdomen for a few hours which kicked in about 36 hours after my LH surge began, so I reckon that was it. I haven't felt anything this month yet (LH surge began yesterday) but I'm certainly more aware of all this kind of thing now so it's easier to keep an eye out for it!

Imps good to hear cycle 5 is under way, give your OH a good talking to - no slacking this month!

I seem to be running a bit behind on this cycle - PeriodTracker had me ov-ing on Sat, but my LH surge only kicked in yesterday so will probably lay the egg today or tomorrow (CD16 or 17). Have been SWI since last Tues (every other day for good-quality sperm, that's right isn't it? DH is questioning and thinks we should SWI every day....) and will carry on a bit longer than previous cycles this time, just to cover all bases. Temps are all over the place, if I get a BFN this cycle I'm going back to taking it orally for cycle 6

Congratulations Molly!

I still have no tests so no news but no AF either. I think this is the first time OH has actually believed I might be pregnant. I think I ought to get another test and try it today because I have a meeting at work tomorrow and if I was pregnant it would change the course of the meeting slightly so should really try again. Wouldn't it be typical if I was one of the 5% who had to have a blood test to confirm? My GP is away this week!

I'm TTC #1. Only just started this week and taking it easy. To be honest it would be better if nothing happened until September as my contract ends in August and I need to get something new.

Great Bank Holiday News Molly !!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you Milo to join the club! I'd definitely try and pick up another test today - if only so you can concentrate in your meeting tomorrow!

late - I'm convinced I felt something yesterday in the car - almost like a pulled muscle twinge but deeper. Came, then went, then felt it again (only a bit but enough to satisfy myself I hadn't imagined it the first time) Really really hoping I'm right because it would tie in every so well with the Bank Holiday, ahem, 'activities'.

Going to wait until next weekend, then test again if no AF. Whatever the result I can then go to GP when she's back at work next week. I need to know whether something's wrong and she said she would do the tests if I wanted - we've been trying on and off for two years and not knowing is messing with my head too much.
