Sorry to those feeling stressed out and wobbly. [busad] Here, have a cute, fluffy bunny to cheer you up! [busmile]

Is it just me, or is [bubiscuit] a little bit disturbing? It just looks like a tit with ears to me.

Nothing new here. Still feeling prematurely premenstrual, still got sore boobs, still feeling a bit dizzy, and we can add unreasonably short-tempered to the list (though I suppose that might fall under premenstrual). No point POASing for a few more days yet, so just got to be patient. Damn it. [buhmm]

Imps7 · 25/04/2011 08:45

Morning all

Hope you're all having lovely Easter weekend - I am having the best time! The sunshine definitely helps.

ERTD still hasn't shown up annoyingly - today's CD35. I think I'm in for one of those WTF? cycles this month. I just want to crack on with cycle 5!!

Have you resisted with the POAS Tomboy?

TomboyWife · 25/04/2011 09:10

Imps are you sure there's no chance you're up the duff? When did you test last?

If I'm right about when I ov'ed, it becomes reasonable to test round about today. I've still got sore boobs, I might have the slightest touch of metal mouth, and I'm so ratty and short-tempered it's unbelievable. If I'm not pg I'm going to be really worried about the ratty and short-tempered bit. This goes way past bog standard "being a bit out of sorts for no particular reason".

It hasn't helped that I'm worried about one of our cats, whom we haven't seen for about 24 hours. She's probably just having second breakfast with the neighbours (and now that I think of it, she's been disappearing a lot since the weather turned and we've started leaving the back door open), but I'd like her to come home now please. Sad

Imps7 · 25/04/2011 09:23

I just POAS Tomboy and it was negative. According to FF, 97.9% pregnant women have tested positive by 20 DPO...so I guess there's still a 2.1% chance! I really think I'm just have a duff cycle.

Fingers crossed for both your POAS and your cat coming home. They have a habit of finding soft people willing to give them extra food, don't they?!

Imps7 · 25/04/2011 09:23

*having

TomboyWife · 25/04/2011 09:30

Aw, that sucks Imps. I've had several of those long cycles and they're so, so frustrating. Sad

DreamingOfABump · 25/04/2011 19:46

Hi :D
Can i join you? We're trying to make our first baby, currently cd 18 of 27days, but no clear signs of ovulation this month so not sure when it was. Will be testing 5th May if no sign of AF by then. fingers crossed! x

LateToTheTTCParty · 25/04/2011 22:02

Hello Dreaming, welcome to the thread!

Imps, hope ERTD comes in to land soon, so you can join me in cycle 5 Wink

How exciting Tomboy, when are you going to poas?!

Well, I have officially entered Fertile Week and expect to ov on Sat. Will be dusting off my opk strips tomorrow and DH has his schedule Wink
Let the SWI commence! Grin

Imps7 · 26/04/2011 13:49

Hurrah for Fertile Week Late!! Happy SWIing! How are your temps doing? Mine haven't dropped at all, but I have been drinking a fair amount over the bank holiday weekend and the run-up to the bank holiday weekend plus the weather has been so hot - both of those factors must surely make a difference. I'm going to be strictly off the booze once ERTD has arrived so that my temps aren't influenced by alcohol.

Welcome to the thread Dreaming - hope you get your bump really soon! What cycle are you on?

I am beyond bored with Cycle 4 now. It's going to be the first on my list of Worst Cycles Ever. Not only has it been 36 days long (and counting), but there was no clear OV date and OH had his little issues. Disasterous!! I sort of feel like ERTD is imminent, but I thought that last week too. Pah and double pah. At least there's another bank holiday to look forward too!

DreamingOfABump · 26/04/2011 14:38

I.m on cycle one. Came off pill in Jan. To give cycle a chance to adjust. Amazing how quickly you become impatient. I was fed up of box waiting before trying so moved it forward but for this next bit i just have to be patient. Dodge. Typing due to new phone which i can't really work. Ha ha x

JosieSmith1 · 26/04/2011 14:48

Welcome Dreaming (waves) Don't worry, we're all massively impatient when it comes to TTC, or I am anywayGrin

My body has convinced me I am pg Confused, I have put on a bit of weight and have a sticky outy tummy (which is usually completely flat) and I can't stop eating. It's not fair, now I have to diet Sad And I'm miserable at work. Crazy boss lady is back and on top bitchy form Angry Her and the pg lady seem to have formed a cliche, I feel like I'm in the bloody schoolyard, whispered conversations etc Hmm I feel like I'm not good enough for them but deep down I know it's the other way around Smile Anyway, at the new yard they treat me like one of the family so shove off work people, I don't need you Grin We had an easter egg hunt yesterday, and on fri we're having a royal wedding bbq so that'll be fab, wish I could be there every day and not in this stupid office Angry Grin

OP posts:
Imps7 · 26/04/2011 15:56

Josie work sounds like a total joy for you at the moment Hmm So glad you're rising above it :) You absolutely do not need them :)

Symptoms sound good - but am hugely jealous of your normal flat tum. Mine is always sticky outy - so much so that on 4 occasions over the past couple of years people have asked me "when it's due" Grin I'm not overweight (BMI of 21) and I am a size 10, I've just always had a massive stomach!! Looking forward to the day when I don't have to suck it in all the time Grin

Dreaming fingers very much crossed that you SWI on your first cycle (almost said "get a hole in one" then, but that sounds really inappropriate given the context Grin) We've had at least one Cycle 1 Wonder recently (Daiso) - would be nice to have another!

JosieSmith1 · 26/04/2011 16:20

Thanks Imps, the tum is thanks to riding the horsie. DH reckons it's all going on my stomach now as I work it off everywhere else, but it's the lower part of my stomach and it's reeeeaally sticking out for me Confused I'm gonna have to start doing some jumping with the ned cos that usually tones up my stomach muscles. Maybe my metabolism is slowing down (it's my 26th birthday on sat) Grin

DreamingOfABump · 26/04/2011 18:09

Would LOVE to be a cycle 1 wonder! (hole in one- snort!) not sure what day (UCL27) i ov'd but had swi on cd 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17 & 18. We're now cd 19 but think i might have seen some egg white today Hmm so might give tonight a go just to be sure. My oh is LOVING the baby making, but has told me he'll be a bit gutted if we do get a hole in one ;)
This thread has been fun to read! Good luck everyone :)

JosieSmith1 · 26/04/2011 20:50

Ok, if I'm honest, work isn't the only thing getting me down. DH and I are arguing quite a lot. Basically he comes in, makes a mess, then sits watching tv or playing on the xbox all night. Then muggins comes along and cleans it all up. I'm totally fed up. When we're at the yard he makes such a huge effort to clean everything up after himself and put everything away, but then when he comes home it's as if he thinks he doesn't have to bother. I try not to, but I can't clean anything because all of his stuff is just in the way. I currently can't get into the spare room as the floor is literally covered in dvds that he hasn't got room for (and just got off my bro without even looking to see if there's any he doesn't want) and I'v probably just broken a few trying to get something out of that room. He was off today and I asked him to pick any dog poo up from the garden as I've done it loads recently, so what has he done? He spent hours ironing (one clothes horse worth of clothes), did some dishes, and 'forgot' about doing the one thing I asked him to do. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the ironing and dishes are done, but why can't he just make more of an effort! I'm naturally a very messy person but I can put my clothes in the wash and put dvds etc away when I'm done with them, but he can't be bothered, and then explains it by saying I should know he's useless and forgetful! It's not a good enough excuse!!!!!!

Anyway, rant over Sad It'll work out ok don't worry, we'll be fine, just need to bat him about the head a bit Smile

OP posts:
LateToTheTTCParty · 26/04/2011 20:50

Imps have you poas? even if your OH only managed it once you're still in with a chance Wink

My temps are ok I think, they're pretty constant at the moment - haven't really gone down since the end of last cycle but then I switched to taking it fagily rather than orally and, as this is only the 2nd cycle I've done, I can't really compare... should've stuck to doing it orally, but it's too late to switch back now (and I'd have to get a new thermometer!) I really feel positive, like it's all to play for at the moment. There's been a bit of pant-snot and I feel like jumping DH all the time Grin. I have got the remnants of a ma-hooo-sive cold-sore, not going to let that stop me Grin

DreamingOfABump · 26/04/2011 21:00

omg just be careful where you are putting that coldsore....you do NOT want herpes riddled baby daddy ;)

Imps7 · 26/04/2011 21:34

Josie I feel your pain! OH is very untidy and it drives me mad! Does your DH have his own wardrobe? 'Cos I've taken to just gathering up all my OH's stuff and shoving it all at the bottom of his wardrobe in a massive pile. It takes seconds but makes the place look so much tidier! And he doesn't complain - in fact he doesn't even notice! I guess he doesn't really care how untidy his wardrobe is.

Late - definitely don't switch back to oral temperatures!! Esp if you have a coldsore! Hope all the SWI will work this time!

I POAS yesterday - negative. I'm wondering if I did actually OV on CD 16... take a look at my chart - I'm wondering if I actually OVd on CD 24 (i.e. the supposed 8 DPO). I started taking temps fadgily on CD 21 and there's a definite dip and rise from CD 24 plus I had loads of EWCM - so much in fact that I was worried I might be leaving a snail trail everywhere I went Grin. If I did on CD 24 then there's no chance that I might be up the duff...if I OVd on CD 16 then there's a 1.9% remaining chance according to FF.

Come on ERTD you bitch - just turn up will you???

Imps7 · 26/04/2011 21:34

Ooooh! The crowns!! Love them (although not as much as the bunny ears)

milocuckoomitten · 26/04/2011 22:19

I'm just jumping in, as am TTC #1 - but we haven't been terribly conscientious about it. However, this weekend had what I can only think may have been implantation bleeding - a little brown blood, then brown when wiping. AF is due this Thursday, and the bleeding was last Thursday 10dpo. Was quite surprised as hadn't even considered it might happen this month, didn't think we had done enough, so wasn't thinking about it at all. Now of course I'm wondering why I had that bleeding (I've never had anything like it before) and trying not to get too excited. Had to tell someone about it as I think waiting until Thurs/Fri for either AF or testing may kill me and don't want to waste tests trying early.

JosieSmith1 · 26/04/2011 22:47

Welcome Milocuckoomitten, fingers crossed for you

Imps that's a really good idea. I've written a huge list of what needs to be done in the house, just so he can see exactly how much I contribute. I am also going to guilt trip him by pointing out that the list is what I'll be spending my saturday doing (sat is also my birthday) and because he gets paid on the last day of every month, he hasn't had the foresight to save some money back from his march pay to buy me a pressie so he is paying for a night out, which isn't good enough if you ask me, especially as he's been getting paid on the same day for the whole 7 years we've been together and should really have figured it out by now.

OP posts:
Imps7 · 27/04/2011 07:15

Hello Milo! Welcome! Sounds like you're going to have a short stay and be our next Cycle 1 Wonder! Fingers crossed for you.

Well I've been obsessing about my luteal phase (hey, who doesn't Grin). Although I've not monitered ovulation before, I've written down when I've had EWCM during my 2 previous cycles and on each occasion ERTD has put in an appearance 16/17 days after that. So, by my detective work calculation, if ERTD turns up today (which feels really likely) then OV is most likely to have happened on CD 20 which would make sense with my temps

So sorry to bore you all, but I find this all incredibly fascinating. Yes, yes, I know I need to get out more.
