Thanks everyone for the messages since AF showed, I still feel crap, normally by CD2 its all sytems go. probably not helped that 1 of my patients at work today has just found out shes pregnant and told others in the group today, happy for her obviously but just wishing...

jaggy just read your exciting news, sounds really good - I would have POAS again tonight, wouldnt be able to wait until the morning! FX!!!

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 21:22

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 02/03/2011 21:38

Yep - Lovely bunch on here :) Temp slightly up this morning, lets hope it continues to rise! www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2de1f3

ochaye · 02/03/2011 21:42

I have been doing a very bad job of keeping up and this thread seems to have picked up this week which is making my inability even worse!

Sorry af got you Newgold and Karbea Sad. Essence - your chart is looking promising. It only takes once if you time it right?

This thread is going to be HOT tomorrow morning! I've lost track ... jaggy, essence, twizzle, bossyboop ... did I get that right? All poas in the morning?

I have a story but I'll not bore you with the detail. Anyway, the short version is that I poas when I got home from work and against the odds 2 lines showed up straight away. I couldn't stop looking at it and let myself be happy because I know it won't be long before I start worrying.

jaggy - you are SO going to the supermarket on the way home ...St Davids

VintageNancy · 02/03/2011 21:49

Evening, first time I've posted since the new thread (mind you only posted twice in last one!)...

FF reckons I'm 4DPO but my temp rise coincided with when my husband got home from 2 weeks away (so my body temp might have been up from the extra body in bed!). And I got EWCM on 2DPO. So guess we'll see how next couple of temps go.

chartness

Sorry that AF came newgold and you're feeling crap :(

jaggy - exciting! FX for next POAS.

VintageNancy · 02/03/2011 21:51

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 02/03/2011 22:25

ochaye oh wow!!! Congrats. Let's hope the vibes rub off on us all.

jaggy you better be updating early tomorrow!!!

I'm 38 too, 39 at the end of the month, eeek. Really wanted to be pg before i was 39, now will settle for giving birth before I'm 40. Probably this time next year I'll settle for getting pg before 40!
Poor DD, she'd make a great big sister.

This is a very friendly thread (and so it should be). You all sound like you have interesting jobs - references to patients, night time offices etc. can I be nosey and ask what jobs everyone does, I love finding out stuff like that.

For my sins, I'm an accountant but am not too boring honestly!

ochay yey!!!

Well you leave for a few days and there's a whole new thread at 6 pages already!

I suppose I've been in a bit of a sulk because AF arrived 5 days ago.

I'm on cycle 18 (although the first 6 or so were a bit half hearted). Been to the docs and all the first stages tests are fine (bloods and SA).

I've been referred to the fertility clinic and have an appt on 28 March. I can't believe how much choice you get (I live in Leeds). The GP asked me where I wanted to go - I had no clue - what do I know about hospitals?!

Fingers crossed for all those testing tomorrow! xx

It's funny because in real life I get really pissed off when I hear about people getting pregnant, but on here I want it for everyone.

AuntieDoris · 02/03/2011 22:28

I am a drug practitioner - I work with chaotic homeless people who use shed-loads of drugs. Always a fascinating/nauseating/entertaining/stressful job.

I live in Leeds too Level. Where did you get a referral to in the end?

level · 02/03/2011 22:29

Mrs Arch just read your post. I'm a solicitor. I work at a commercial law firm (i.e. for companies rather than individuals) and specialise in employment law.

level · 02/03/2011 22:31

Hi Auntie D - how exciting! What's your TTC situation?

I was referred to Seacroft (I think). No idea what it's like but it's the main place. It's miles from my work which is a pain as it's hard for me to get time off and I don't want to tell work I'm TTC.

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 22:31

i do a really specific job and am paranoid about being anonymous so will have to think of how to describe it vaguely!

Newgolddream · 02/03/2011 22:39

ochaye - YEH!! and thanks to you and vintagenancy for thoughts x

Im a Psychiatric Nurse working in a day clinic, its for the NHS and you get good days and bad days - its not as physically exhausting as when I worked in the wards but its very emotionally draining at time, still generally love it though.

weimy · 02/03/2011 23:02

ochaye congrats!!!!!!!!

Truffkin · 02/03/2011 23:12

Bloody hell you lot are chataholucs Grin

Just checking in to new thread and sending congrats to Ochaye great news! I'll be popping back in the morning to see Jaggy's update too!

I'm 6DPO so will be starting the symptom spotting game soon I think!

There seem to be so many new faces so hi everyone

jaggythistle · 03/03/2011 05:08

sorry, BFN.

got you all excited over nothing.

jaggythistle · 03/03/2011 05:18

BFN on digital, there's a shadow of a line on the Asda one but i can't see any pink so i guess just evap line.

i know I'm not late yet but think I'll be waiting for af now. too sacred to look at thermometer and confirm i was being daft.

feel kind of stupid now.

oops, sorry for whining!

good luck other testers.

essenceofSES · 03/03/2011 06:33

Oh Jaggy , it is still early for a BFP on a CBD. Maybe test again in a couple of days. Don't feel silly, I'm still hopeful for you!

Ochaye - congrats! Sounds like there's a bit of a tale to be told too. Do fill us in when you get chance!
Grin Grin Grin

NewGold - sorry, those first few days of a new cycle are tough. That's one challenging job you have too!

twizzle and bossy , are you testing this morning?!

Truffkin - yay for starting symptom spotting! FX!

Hello too to weimy , VintageNancy , AuntieD , MrsA and anyone else I've missed!

I'm not POAS until at least Saturday. Still confused by my chart and don't want to get my hopes up! Temp was still up this morning and FF reckons I'm 13dpo although I think I'm only 10dpo. On phone so not sure how to link chart but I linked within the last couple of days if anyone wants to take a look!

Oh and I'm a pharmacist by profession. I work for Boots and currently line manage nearly 40 pharmacists. I don't get to practise very much at the moment but once a week or so I'll help out if I'm in a store that needs a bit of help. My geography covers 73 shops so I do lots of driving!
