Yeah the ovulation calculator predicts your fertile days but the best way to know is to check cm, when its ewcm its fertile and the last day of it is when you are about to ovulate (of course you dont know its your last day unless you have a set pattern every month). Everyone is different and has a different number of ewcm days, sometimes just 1 day like I had this month but often have a few days. Thats why its best to swi till after the ewcm to stand a chance. Once you ovulate your temp goes up. So you should see a pattern, the day after the last day of ewcm your temp will go up and that is 1dpo. Fertilityfriends works it out for you and puts a red cross on your chart once you have 3 high temps after predicted ovulation.

Look at my chart you can see on cd11 I had ewcm, the next day temp goes up and thats 1dpo, hope I make sense! Also assuming that I have a 14 day luteal phase af wont be due till thurs.

Though now having pink cm, have only had that once before at 5dpo which lasted untill I got af.

ochaye - having read 'taking charge of your fertility' I thought it best to keep track of everything! So, in case we aren't successful and have to go down the medical route, I would have as much evidence in my hands i could possible collect, hoping that would shorten any discussion/examination time.

bossyboob - thanks for the link - addictive reading. Trouble is, i was convinced I was pg in jan, had every symptom going and spoke to an ex nurse who agreed that it would pretty amazing if I wasn't. Little did we know Amazing how your body can trick you when you want it to....

i know it's not a huge drop, just looks rubbish now! i have of course been getting my hopes up between my chart and 'symptoms'.

this is the first time in about a week that i have done my temp at the right time after a decent sleep so i will pretend that's why it's lower.

hope everyone else looking for a temp rise got one!

jaggy please dont despair, yours was only a little drop and I still think your chart overall is looking good. How long is your lp normally, I would be tempted to poas I really would!

Wheras my temp has been at line for last 2 days sadly. Just want AF to show now.

it has been mostly 12 but 13 last time. will prob do it tomorrow morning if temp reasonably high.

temp gone up ridiculously after the dip yesterday so think something gone wrong somewhere, still spotting. Got some much needed tears out yesterday which was a bit embarrassing when it was while watching the biggest loser and glee of all things (dh is the glee fan in our house)

I am a muppet and just tried to watch one born every minute while eating lunch. tears in my beans on toast

I managed to rack up 69 pregnancy points with today and tomorrow to go before af on thurs but I expect af may turn up sooner if this spotting picks up the pace but then again its far more cruel for my body to drag the spotting out for a few days before smacking me in the face with af

bossyboop - your chart looks great to, its an overall pattern that is important not all the temps and your pattern is high!

I thought you were worse than me re POAS - which will teach me to read your post properly - I could have sworn you said you had taken 69 pregnancy tests - good god!! - till I read 69 pregnancy points lol

I have been for a wee about 8 times today, better record that on FF too...

I have to confess that after your last post about POAS newgold I suddenly needed a wee so did POAS What a waste of time as it wasn't even FMU - BFN of course! So I learned precisely nothing about whether I am pregnant or not :)

Back to no POAS allowed till AF is late!

not quite that many tests, 1 a day, down to ovulation sticks now just to satisfy an urge to poas! Waiting for some FR and cheapies coming in the post but expect af will arrive before they do! I bet ive used that many the last 17 months
