It's a tough time of the month to be at scrummy, it's made me realise how chilled out I feel having not ovulated yet once I do the time seems to drag, I go through lots of sticks, feel bad about wasting them but do another the next day just in case and continue till after af in case it was implantation. Then I realise that for being so laid back and ready to stop ttc I do seem to want it more than I will actually allow myself to realise though it's probably best for me not to get too attached to the idea so it's easier to let it go.

definitely got a distraction from 2WW this month.

Had poor wee DS at A&E yesterday as he fell on his face :( Had to get glued, hoping it will stick ok and won't need stitches!

Oh no jaggy I am absolutely dreading the first scrapes and accidents with my DS... hope yours is ok!

Can't quite believe how protective over DS I feel - DH says I need to chill out a bit and that when he's bigger he'll get in to all sorts of scrapes but I feel all funny when I think about it so hope you are ok too

So how's 9 DPO treating you?

Meh. Feeling fairly unpregnant. Boobs feel funny but that's cos DS has a couple of bfs a day, but not since yesterday morning cos his mouth is too sore. Will have to have a go at expressing later, am a bit out of practice.

Temps are quite high but I have taken some at funny times when I woke up too early so not sure how reliable they are. And the temps don't really mean much anyway do they, but it makes you feel like you're doing something :)

oooh yours too jaggy - I am loving the charting, really does make you feel like you're doing something....I thought that the temps were supposed to be higher if you take them later rather than earlier, if so yours looks even better

Off on hols stupidly early tomorrow so currently taking a break from manic washing and packing...how can one small DS require so much stuff... I fear DH and I will have to pack very light indeed....

Hi guys from a semi-lurker... have been on this thread on and off but don't know enough about charting yet and my charts haven't helped me to work it out! Wondered if anyone could hazard a guess at what on earth is going on with my cycles (see chart here). This month FF put OV at CD12 but I changed it because I'm fairly sure that ridiculously high temp was because I was ill. Can't work out why it's so up and down though - especially now because AF due yesterday, going on what I think is my normal (stupidly short) luteal phase and the temp dip - but no sign yet. I have no idea what's going on at all... Used OPKs for a month but they didn't pick anything up and am loathe to use them again as they're such a faff!!

Just don't understand it at all and can't work out how to time things! Any advice will be much appreciated. I promise when I know more I'll join the thread and try to help others in return!!

Humph - Having a break is alot tougher than TTC :( Had the most horrible ovulation pain today where it literallly took my breath away, but then came to the realisation that there would nothing there waiting for the egg! :( Unless of course DH's swimmers last the 5 days!

i think my ov pain feels like really bad trapped wind or something. maybe those swimmers don't know you're taking a break ifat. :)

on phone so can't stalk so well.

i have a v odd looking chart this month.

either a) I'm ill
b) i may spontaneously combust soon
or c) sleep derivation gives me strange temps!

have had temps this high at 10dpo before so i know not to get too excited. it normally plummets on 11/12 dpo so we'll see.

Nothing happening here, gearing up for Sunday (CD8) and the swi every 2 days can start all over again.

jaggy - chart is still looking good, 1 of these months it will be the month!

poppyjen - I can get weird CM after ovulation, including normal EWCM, C and also really thick globby stuff, cant think of a better way to describe it

scrummy - sorry for your BFN - I start POAS at 9 DPO , its too easy done eh.

ifatfirst - you just never know, fx!

mrssatsuma - maybe your body was gearing up to ovulate earlier - hence the EWCM - and then didnt and then tried again? Not sure.

Right, I'm really confuzzled! I'm 99.9% sure that was ov pain yesterday, but I've had loads of EWCM today and just checked CP and it's still high & soft!

I tend to get a few twinges either side leading up to ov, but the pain yesterday was so sharp and lasted a good few seconds I am convinced that was the egg bursting out. Temp up by .16c this morn!

Well I have got a cb digital monitor and am going to see how that works, cd3 hopefully I will ov during half term. Will try to start temping again too.

that is a bit ifat. it's going to be one of those annoying wait and see things though.

another high temp for me, but it was one of those mornings where you wake up without realising. so i still don't trust the temp as there was a bit of a delay and I'm not sure i was lying especially still!

Nothing interesting to report here. CD15 and waiting for the egg. Could be another 10 days...

AF due monday or tuesday at v latest (longest LP 13 days) - I will only be tempted to test before then if my temp is still high tomorrow and I haven't been awake too early/all night/too late or any other doubt!! I hate a BFN

hope that egg hurries up!

DH was trying to get me to test, I said noooooo when I said said my temp was low and it was all stretchy I meant I would be ovulating soon, talk about premature testing This weekend is THE weekend.

i prob won't even test tomorrow to be honest. I've been caught out too many times already with late af, early af, imaginary symptoms etc. it's only month 8 and I'm already cynical and preparing to see a temp drop.

I'm having a dilemma. My temp this morning was definitely in the post-ov range. Didn't drink last night, didn't get up, am not unwell. So it's likely to be a real high temp. But I've had negative opk's the last 7 days and I've always had at least two positives before ovulating. Plus I didn't get my usual ov-day bloating/cramping that I normally get. But I'm wondering if that was a symptom of late ovulation.

Also in previous ovulation my temp has crept up so I'm never really sure for a few days, but today it's properly high. All in all this is very unusual for me and I'm not convinced I've ovulated. I would normally wait a few days to see if it stays high but I'm supposed to start taking my medication from ovulation to suppress my immune system from attacking a potential bean. Think I might wait and see if temp is still high tomorrow.

We're definitely running to the end of this thread.
