Ive managed to void one of my tests Confused I know better than to test when spotting but cant help it! SO anyway was bfn but squint and you can imagine a faint line Hmm an hour later while pointing it in all directions (internet cheapie) the paper at the end of the strip lifted up and the dye that had collected started sweeping back across. This has happened before so was waiting for it to move right across like last time so I could do more squinting. The dye did move across and when I went back 5 minutes later to see if the dye had moved to the other side yet there was a faint 2nd line. Roll on tomorrow for a temp dip and full on af to put me out of my misery as this is just getting ridiculous even by my standards!

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 16:45

you'll strain your eyes you know bossy Wink

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 16:47

your chart still looks ok though don't you think?

weimy · 02/03/2011 17:05

fx Bossy

Well observation over and done with twizzle, was good with outstanding features. Only thing that let me down was depth of detail in my lesson plan, however had thought I was being observed on Fri so only had 30mins or so to write up lesson plan to their format. Feel much better now :)

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 17:26

Glad you got on ok Weimy

Is it stupid that I am absolutely crapping myself about doing a CBD in the morning in case it's negative? I am fairly certain there was some sort of line there this morning, I have googled obsessively to see how common false positives are.

Too much time to think at work I guess!

essenceofSES · 02/03/2011 18:20

jaggy - nervousness for tomorrow is understandable but you know how rare a false positive is Grin

weimy - well done on getting through your observation :)

bossy - the days when you approach/reach your usual LP length are a nightmare of a rollercoaster aren't they? I'll be checking in in the morning to see what your temp has done!

scrummy - sorry I didn't reply to your question this morning, I was too excited for jaggy Blush However, as MrsA says, BF=breastfeeding.

Thanks to all those that have commented on my chart. I guess I'm likebossy and will wait and see what tomorrow holds!

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 18:34

failing to care about concentrate on work at all.

I know false ones are rare, I did happen to have the only type known to give occasional false positives though! typical.

FF thinks I should test on Friday so I am a bit early.

Have got two CBD so can always wait a couple of days run out to the shops for other ones to try and try again.

You can use OPKs as sort of pg tests can't you...

bossyboop · 02/03/2011 18:45

yes you can use opks, heres what I had read about it

im sick of the sight of my chart - no amount of staring at it is going to make it change, felt so sick today, every time I eat I feel yak and its been quite a lot as had the muchies all day but think its as im so aggitated about the whole thing!

While I expect the dreaded af for me, I have high hopes for you jaggy Smile

Sounds like you did well weimy!

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 18:46

eee the pressure!

bossyboop · 02/03/2011 18:50

oh and jaggy, you are right I think thats what is causing the headaches!

Everytime I go to say boobs I say balloons as thats what they are like at the mo though shouldnt complain!

When pg with DD had no symptoms apart from retching at the smell of the tumble dryer, then tested the day af was due, 2nd month of trying. What happened to that - 17 months down the line this time zillions of tests and zillions of symptoms!

Had the tumble dryer on today and nothing at all Sad

ravenlocks · 02/03/2011 18:53

Popping in to say 'hi'. BFN last month on my WTF cycle, still on a charting holiday - haven't temped for about 3 weeks and am on CD11 and not doing OPKs. Still giving the chilled out approach another go. Although am kind of following the Sperm Meets Egg plan without really admitting to myself (and definately not DH) that I am!

Maybe it is hormones as am mid cycle but I felt the urge to come back to the thread and check how everyone is.

Hi to everyone that remembers me!! Congrats jaggy, fingers crossed for the CBD tomorrow - if you get a 'not pg' don't worry, I found they weren't that sensitive and took me until I was 2 days late to get a +ve on it, 3 days after a +ve on a FR.

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 18:59

Hi Raven! Nice to hear from you :)

I am reminding myself that I am not late so could be too early, but thanks lots for the info about your CBD. I doubt I will be able to resist the call of the digital tomorrow, although I am indecisive on whether to look at my temp first or do the test!

I of course have no intention of going home and POA OPK later...Blush

I am still weeing a bit more, and have the Odd Boobs/Odd Nipples, still a bit crampy - could feel it while in bed this morning.

twizzlestix · 02/03/2011 19:53

Don't blame you for being nervous jaggy hopes and emotions run high when it's a is it or isn't it a line question. I will be checking reguarly as possible tomorrow to find out results fx.

Wow weimy that's a fab result without having zero notice and had to pull it out of the bag! Well done you

Despite my temp drop FF has increased my preggo points to 78pts that combined with no AF (longest cycle ever at 30 days now!) is messing with my head! But still feel like AF is coming ( yes I know I've been saying it for 3 days but it's true)

If not here in the morning then I shall poa£5.

weimy · 02/03/2011 20:10

Oh jaggy Bossy twizzle I am keeping everything crossed for you. :)

poa£5 Grin how funny!

Good to hear from you raven :)

I have been totally emotionally incontinent today, cried during my debrief Blush, poor bloke didn't know what to do.

Now I am shattered.

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 20:14

lol at emotionally incontinent weimy! Hope you get a good rest tonight and feel better. :)

MY mumsnet frenzy at work has increased every night this week. MUST STOP POSTING!!

Scrummybumb · 02/03/2011 20:19

www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Scrummybumb

Tnhx MrsArch and essence for the clarification. I thought you didn't even ovulate when you BF? Just shows how much i've still got to learn.

jaggy I hope you get to sleep tonight, i know i wouldn't. FX for tomorrow!

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 20:22

Aye it will be like waiting for Santa lol!

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 20:23

I'm BF too by the way - AF came back when I went back to work and was expressing for DS. So I got 7 months off :)

essenceofSES · 02/03/2011 20:23

Scrummy - I didn't get AF back until DS was 12mo but from temping, I believe I did start ovulating within a couple of months of AF returning. DS is now 21mo.

weimy - sorry but I ROFL at emotionally incontinent too. Hope you can relax this evening though.

jaggy - oh no! Please KEEP posting Grin

Scrummybumb · 02/03/2011 20:23

I wish i could mumsnet at work, i recently accepted a promotion in an all bloke office, any hint of me even planning to take time off would cause a problem. Kew long maternity leave! Grin

And hats off to the teachers, i don't know how you do it!

twizzlestix · 02/03/2011 20:34

weimy I ve done that before Blush in front of an advisor Blush so I guess we're both emotionally incontinent!

Don't worry scrummy before too long you'll know way too much about TTC and all the ways your body plays tricks on you. My loveliest of lovely friends who is mother of 2!! I'll say it again 2!! Had no idea when she ovulated or anything and was updiffed cycle 2 with pfb and cycle 1 (after one BD Envy with no 2. She didn't even poas til was 2 weeks late, i wish I could be so relaxed!

You don't know until you have to due to tonnes of loses. Well that's what happened in my case anyway sorry if projecting :)

twizzlestix · 02/03/2011 20:34

By loses I meant bfn not m/c realised that may be misinterpreted

Scrummybumb · 02/03/2011 20:35

jaggy essence - noted
Lol Was going to make some xmas jokes, but they all sounded really rubbish

jaggythistle · 02/03/2011 20:36

don't encourage me!!

I was spotted on Mumsnet today by a collegue - will have to be more secretive...don't think he saw my username from across the room though. :O

Scrummybumb · 02/03/2011 20:41

twizzle it's my age - 38 - and my nature of wanting to be in control that leading me to try and learn everything under the sun in record time.
I even went to see my gp when we decided and i think my first words were: so how long have i got before I'm too old for IVF on NHS.

Although feeling fairly relaxed about it all this month (it shows, doesn't it? Wink)
