Scrummybumb · 02/05/2011 12:18

WOW! molly and SES CONGRATULATIONS!!! Let's hope the next months are uneventful as possible, in the nicest possible way.

mrsmcjnr thanks for your kind words. Yes, I have used access, only this time I was after the book and got a bit carried away....

ifat sorry to hear about your friend. That must be really tough.

ChantingAsISpeak · 02/05/2011 12:56

Congratulations to you both :D

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 02/05/2011 14:44

Congrats Molly & SES Grin

DH has just scared the life out of me. Out of nowhere he randomly asks "what day are you on?" I reply day 24. To that he states "I think you're pregnant" Shock and just left it at then. When I ask why he thinks that, he just shrugged his shoulders & wandered off!!!!

He's obviously got some sort of psychic abilitlty as I have absolutley NO symptoms!!!!!!

MollyDefoe · 02/05/2011 14:54

Thanks so much for all the lovely messages, everyone :) Am of course now imagining experiencing a whole torrent of pg symptoms: metal mouth, nausea, tingly boobs Hmm

bossyboop · 02/05/2011 18:52

Smile congratulations molly and hotcross! Love logging on and seeing great news like that!

Day 2 of my spotting which means going to have to book the dreaded hsg but on the plus side now I am ovulating later it is better as hsg means no swi till afterwards and when it looked like I was ovulating CD 10/11 it looked like the hsg month would be wasted as it has to be done cd10.

I am now the proud mother to 2 guinea pigs and they certainly fulfill a need!

Scrummybumb · 02/05/2011 19:00

Ohh, guinea pigs, you've just made me Envy

ifat he wouldn't be the first bloke to do that! Let's hope he's right.

MrsMcJnr · 02/05/2011 19:32

Wish I´d come and chatted to you all before I wasted a precious pg test this morning. It was a moment of weakness, I tried to tell myself that as this is CD31 and my usual cycle is 28 days then I was in fact overdue and my temps were high but....it was negative . Either I am not pg this cycle (most likely given odd chart) or I am only 9DPO as my chart thinks and not even 30% of BFP´s show up so early .. silly girl, I should know better.

MrsMcJnr · 02/05/2011 19:41

Jaggy ? glad to hear you are ok now :)
Molly ? yea, yea, yea!!!! A line´s a line, congrats!!!!! I have a little boy born in January and he is fabulous :) Hope you get even more good news tomorrow! :)
SES ? yipeeeeeee!!! Think very good sticking vibes. Was your name always SES? I was on those threads for months and months, how old is your DS? Thanks for the luck you sent my way.
Scrummy -:)It´s a good book.
Ifatfirst ? sounds like DH might be onto something? ;)
Bossy ? good to have a plus side, book that test!

weimy · 02/05/2011 20:49

congratulations Molly and Hotcross Grin

:) the guinea pigs! bossy

Cd 13 here so will swi tonight maybe :)

Newgolddream · 03/05/2011 12:41

Huge congratulations Hotcross and Molly Wine heres to a happy and healthy 9 months, and come back and tell us (Im sure I will still be here)

bossyboop - glad you are feeling a bit better to and that you are looking at a bright side. Smile

Ifatfirst - sorry to hear that its been 3 years and of your losses, sometimes I wonder where the energy and hope comes from, but you obviously have the right attitude and I sincerely hope you do get that BFP for a sticky bean soon. Smile As to your chart I think its looking really good with a good rise, so everything crossed. Thats sad about your friend and IVF, it doesnt matter sometimes knowing that other people can be worse off when its something you desperately want to but Im glad its helping you. IVF sounds such a tiring and emotionally draining experience, how is she?

weimy - glad you are out of the dumps. Smile Hows the swi going?

MrsMc - welcome and sorry to hear about your loss and now the BFN. Dont be too hard on yourself re testing early, Im your twin there Grin, cant help myself - each and every month, starting at 9 DPO.

scrummy - sorry to hear youre out. Sad 24 days is a normal cycle according to my Doc, because thats what Im having a lot to, he says the lenght doesnt really matter as long as you are ovulating remember. Ive just ordered more OPKs to from Ebay. And yes I will think about getting my bloods done, he recomended to wait until at least next cycle, good to know hes supportive.

chanting - welcome Smile Congratulations on your weight loss, Ive managed 2 stone off since last year but I have a long long way to go still. I had DS3 when I was 37 (Im now 40 and ttc no 4) , it took about 7 or 8 months which was my shortest yet so age sometimes is not necessarily a negative factor!

eurochick - welcome! I agree with hotcross regarding individual temps not being that important but as long as a pattern of pre and post ov can be seen , thats more important. SWI - 6 days in a row? I admire your stamina!! Grin

Well Im just about to ovulate I think - not had a positive test yet but Im on CD14 which was when I ovulated last month plus loads of EWCM the past 2 days so will be swi tonight. I have managed not too bad this cycle - started on CD8, then CD10, CD12 and now if all goes to plan CD14 so every 2 days.

jaggythistle · 03/05/2011 12:49

I'm going to go for every 2 days this cycle too. also not getting overeager and starting on day 9 or something when my earliest ov day has been 15 Blush

i think what gets me grumpy sometimes is how much all this is out of our control. we can chart, get the preseed out and do whatever, but it just feels like we might as well just SWI (at the right time i suppose) and hope for the best!

mrsden · 03/05/2011 12:53

Congratulations hotcross and molly, two BFPs in one day Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Do you have any symptoms? Were your post ovulation temps any different to usual (apart from not dropping at the end)?

I'm 6dpo, I'm not feeling particularly hopeful but we did SWI at the right time so maybe this will be our month.

Newgolddream · 03/05/2011 12:54

Hi jaggy! I started on CD 8 because I ovulated a few times on CD10-11, I wish it was the same every month!!

Youre absolutely right about lack of control to - and for me its depressing thinking even if you manage to swi at the right time theres still only a 1 in 4 chance. That bugs me, Im like "well theres a sperm and an egg - just FERTLISE"!!!!!!! Grin

Newgolddream · 03/05/2011 12:58

Fingers crossed for you mrsden, like you Im not hopeful, wish I could get all my early days pma and enthusiasm back.

mrsden · 03/05/2011 13:00

I was going to do the every other day thing but then when I got ewcm I didn't want to waste the chance so did it every day for a few days. I wish I could be more relaxed and just follow the every two to three day advice. Also, we more or less give up once my temps have risen. I'm wondering if maybe we should continue for a few more days afterwards just in case.

mrsden · 03/05/2011 13:04

oh, yes I'd love to go back to feeling how I did when we first started ttc. It was all so exciting then. We're going to a wedding this weekend and I remember when I first heard the date I was worried about what I would wear because I thought I'd be heavily pregnant ha ha ha.

jaggythistle · 03/05/2011 13:18

hahahaha newgold " just FERTILISE" go on - get on with it!!!

I've tried every day for a few months and am now impatient to do something else Grin cos it will totally make a difference Hmm

MollyDefoe · 03/05/2011 15:58

Hi all!
Thanks so much for the good-luck wishes! DP is a bit fazed, I think - we've just heard that our offer on a beautiful house has been accepted, so within the space of 2 days we seem to have the prospect of a new home and (hopefully, if all goes well) a potential baby to look forward to. He's walking around looking a bit stunned, to tell the truth!

Mrsden I did have a few symptoms, which made me a little suspicious. On 11DPO, I had very weird tingly, needling sensations in my general womb area, and all the next morning quite strong cramps followed by (sorry for TMI) strange yellow CM. My sense of smell is a lot more acute, too (I can smell sweaty feet from a mile off! yuk!), and annoyingly salad is making me feel pretty sick. But other than that, plus slightly tingly nipples and a dull AF-like ache, I don't feel very different. My BFPs are still pretty faint, but if what I felt on 11DPO was implantation, then it hasn't had very long for the hormone to increase, I guess. Annoyingly, I read an article on t'internet about how faint BFPs can mean that something's wrong with the pregnancy, and so obviously now I'm stressing out a bit!

Karbea · 03/05/2011 16:16
