hadrian hi. it is difficult pg women seem to be everywhere, shortly after mine i had a friend who already has 2 dc's announce she was pg with twins. my other friend had her ds. an old school friend announced on fb she was pg. Todays my first hurdle af due date, i may just make myself comfy upstairs on the loo with a good book/my ds for the day.

tokyo i'm sorry things have been so tough lately, i hope dd gets better soon.

mel sorry hon i remember you saying something about that before. A hard job as it is i would imagine without the tough time you're going through at the moment. an hour to work cor that's horrible, especially if you don't feel like going in. Just don't forget we're here for you to vent to even about work if you need us. There does seem to be quite a few/most of us who have mc on their second.

Hi Melie, I know what you mean about 2nd pregnancies. In my group of 9 friends, 7 have had mcs with their 2nd pregnancies.
Thing is, I can't think why this would be the case. It is very odd though.

My experience in RL is many ppl lose thier 1st pregnancy. Out of my group of friends, 4 of us want a baby, 3 had a mc with 1st pregnancy and 1 of us is having difficulty conceiving. Thankfully one is now 6 months pg, so hopefully we'll have 1 baby in 2011.

You are right mellie that most ppl here are ttc#2. Maybe more mummy's use MN so it scews the stats.

cep your worrying is only natural, but hopefully it will go swimmingly and you'll have nothing left to worry about!

iggy welcome, I'm so sorry for your loss but I'm glad you've found us. I've seen you on the nov bus but I stuggle to keep up with both threads so don't post often. Everyone is really lovely here so feel free to use us as support or a friendly ear to rant at! X

Hi Hadrian how was your week at work? I think pg people are stalking us! I feel the same. I can't get over the number of pg announcements recently. 3 in a week! Thankfully people I don't see too often. Someone brought their new born twins to work yesterday but thankfully I was in a meeting and missed the whole affair!

melies that's really good of your DH to not go, I can imagine it's the last thing he felt like doing and would only be worrying about you. How are you feeling today. It's very dull and wet here today but I hope it's sunnier where you are and you do something nice x

I don't know many people trying for their 2nd DC but when I mc a friend did tell me all of her friends who where pg or trying lost their first. I think it's very common to lose your first..... But noone told me this before I had a mc. I just thought the chances of mc were the same regardless.

melies I drive an hour to work too. Sometimes I cry on the way, but in a way it's a good thing as it gives me quiet alone time to be sad and get it out of my system.

Tokyo sorry your having a hard time a the moment.

I fell asleep infront of the TV last night so feeling refreshed. Woke up at 4 this morning which had messed up my temps again though!

It's quiet in here today....where is everyone? It's awful weather in London today, and I'm stumped as to what to do...don't really fancy getting wet.

Does anyone have any advice about taking Baby Asprin? Would it be silly of me to take it post ov if it hasn't been prescribed by GP? I'm usually like everything to be as natural and organic as possible. I don't take painkillers unless I'm in agony and try to take natural vits & minerals rather than supplements, except for Folic Acid...but I will do anything to have a sticky bean next time round.

Has anyone researched this?

hi all, have just got back from my first cinema experience with ds. actually wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. ds wasn't to bad, started getting bored nearish the end, wuld have been ok if we'd had more sweeties.

collie we had a bad night with ds awake from 3:30 on and off. sooo tired.

How are things looking today Cep? My dd loves the cinema, we went to tangled last week and saw a trailer for Winnie the pooh and now she keeps asking to go and see that! I think it's as much about the popcorn as the film for her tho! (she gets that from me!)

I'm sorry to hear that the weather in london is awful, we've had it in Swansea all week but today the suns out so we took dd out to a farm centre and then pub lunch on the way home, it was a nice morning.

Ninu shame about the weather, we've had some sun today oop north. I second you re the m/c stats, you are more likely to m/c with first, and guess it's just bcs most people here (not me!) to be outted do have DC.

Thanks for asking collie Cep, we've actually just got home. DH had arranged for us to go to a nice hotel last night after the service and have dinner and then we went on a long walk in the country today.

The service was short and sweet there were 3 other couples there, and very sadly indeed, one chap all alone. I really felt for them all but particularly for him . I hoped his wife/partner was ok.

The priest was lovely and mentioned all our babies during her prayers. DH admitted that going had really helped him feel like we've said goodbye properly. I feel like I've not abandoned my baby, which I had been feeling like. Thanks again ladies for your support xx

mel he actually wasn't as bad as i thought he was going to be, but thankfully it wasn't too busy in there, we had a couple of i need a weewee. (dh took him but apparently he didn't do anything, within 5 mins of coming back in ds was pulling trousers and pants down....yes right infront of my seat, quick pull up of clothes and mad dash to loo.) only thing we didn't take enough money so didn't get enough sweets to keep him still.

blackkat oh so pleased it went well. that poor man being on his own. How nice for the dh to arrange for a hotel what a lovely gesture. I'm glad it's made you feel a bit better.

I'm ok, thankfully af didn't start (or at least not yet) so doing ok so far.

I've only just started taking note of mine...and I think its watery, so hopefully will have EW tomorrow. Also did an ovulation test for the first time where the test line was more faint then the control line. Am I right in thinking that that is a negative? Its an internet cheapy so intructions aren't the clearest.

ninu that comes from spending all day on the computer and googling everything. i even googled itchy eyes and pregnancy before i got my bfp cause my eyes were so itchy the day before.

i'm not too bad blackkat had a silly panic last night cause i went to loo and got a streak of blood on 2 wipes, so ofcourse that was it i was thinking it was a chemical pg. nothing on st or wipe this morning. so am back to just being paranoid about every "wet" (sorry tmi) feeling down there.

I went and bought some ov sticks from Wilkos yesterday. £2.80 for 5 is that good? Anyway took a test yesterday and it was negative so do I keep taking them each day?

According to MN ov predicter on my first cycle bleed I should have been ov around 24th to 28th feb or if I go back by 2nd bleed I'll be ov around 7 March to 11 March.

Just to be on the safe side I've been swi everyday since Thursday!

How's everyone else doing?

lili it tends to be recommended to test opk every day in the afternoon, cause the surge isn't supposed to show until then. i never knew when to expect mine so pretty much tested every day from 2 days after af stopped. (and still never got a positive). yay for the energy you can get a load of cheapy ones on ebay.
