The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (But it does work).

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at every opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronym-age to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed.
OV is ovulation - I'm allowed to forget what date I've OVd, feel free to join me on that one!

Bunting is to be put out for any small victory, thread-parties are held regularly and hugs are always welcome! Grin

Once you have your BFP, feel free to hang around and share your wisdom and virtual cocktails with the JSers.

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Most of these rules are well and truly broken!! But we try to chill - honest

happy St Davids by the way! Grin never pass up on a chance to use a new emoticon, ha ha

BamBam21 · 01/03/2011 12:17

Oooh, new emoticon! Never noticed that katee! St DavidsGrin

Sorry you are feeling rubbish today. Are you able to take it easy, or are you at work? I'm feeling better now, but still have the tummy cramps. I'm desperately trying not to let my mind play any tricks, or it will be a LONG 2WW!Smile

Just trying to clear up my kitchen today. We live in a tiny flat, and we just have so much rubbish! It was getting to the point where we couldn't actually see any work surface, never mind clean it!! Blush

kateepie2 · 01/03/2011 12:21

I live in quite a large house bam and most of the house is like that. I'm quite unashamed -too tired and too much crap about to clean properly atm, but it does piss me off from time to time Grin

At work, and had a meeting with my boss this morning, 5 mins before I felt like I was going to hurl. That's not fun. But, if it keeps LO healthy, bring it on I guess Wink

Wondering about asking MNHQ if we can change Envy to [barf] I'm sure its more appropriate!

deemented · 01/03/2011 12:23

Hey folks,

Glad to hear the smear wasn't too bad sorry you're sore, though.

So, i've POAS three days in a row this week so far. Anyone ekse?

BamBam21 · 01/03/2011 12:45

LOL at Envy katee! Glad I'm not the only one with a hellish house though. Sometimes I feel quite ashamed, and then I think sod it, we're happy in it!Grin

dee when is ERTD due? I hadn't realised it was POAS time for you just now. Fingers crossed for you!

deemented · 01/03/2011 13:08

ERTD was due yesterday.

And i think i had a squinter Shock

BamBam21 · 01/03/2011 13:14

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH!! That's exciting dee! Did you use FMU? Have you had symptoms?

deemented · 01/03/2011 13:24

Well, i have used FMU. There is a very very very feint line there, i think. No symptoms as i'm still breastfeeding DS3, so boobs are veiny as usual. And i fell pregnant with DS3 whilst BF DD, and had no morning sickness or anything then - apparently BF helps keep your hormone levels up.

I dunno. I so want it to be a BFP, but i'm terrified as well!!

kateepie2 · 01/03/2011 13:26

ooooooooooooh dee Grin

BamBam21 · 01/03/2011 13:34

Oh dee try to keep calm! Maybe test again in the morning and see if you still get a line? I am really excited for you dee. Smile

Noy seen nickel on here for a while.......

nickelbabe · 01/03/2011 15:10

i'm here!
no news, though.

went up to see my brand new nephew on the weekend.
had a bit of a squish, and cos sis is FF, DH and I both got a go with feeding.

t 4 weeks old, they don't do much, which is actually a blessing considering how much the 4 yo niece wanted me for!! i must have swung her about a million time, between Grand olf duke of york, and let's go fly a kite!

it was good for DH, as well, cos he got to hug and cuddle a tiny baby - he took to it quite well - got a few photos of him with him, and he was quite as ease (once he got used to it!)
he said he was amazed nephew hardly cried - well of course he didn't! he was practically asleep and only griped a bit when he was hungry, then when he wanted his nappy changed.
awwwwwwwwww. Grin

nickelbabe · 01/03/2011 15:13

also, sis gave me her pregnancy care book that she was given (by the midwife) at 8 weeks - she said i'd need it cos there's lots of stuff in there for before 8 weeks!
listening to her story, though, made me even more determined to have a home birth with no intervention (apart from drugs of course....)

she was having a text book labour, then the midwife said she was going to burst her waters to get things going.
and sis needed quite a lot of stitches because she tore. basically, they shouldn't have burst her waters, because it rushed it along too fast - she was labouring nicely, then waters were burst and baby came along before she was ready.

JosieSmith1 · 01/03/2011 16:09

Fingers crossed Dee!

Bam I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time. I agree with others - you should push to get a docs appointment and see what they could tell you.

Glad you enjoyed time with your nephew Nickel

Hope your horse is ok Nelly

BamBam21 · 01/03/2011 16:38

Hi nickel! Glad you had such a lovely weekend. Did it make you feel extra mushy seeing your OH with a tiny bub? I think there's nothing more lovely than a big man with a wee baby! SmileBlush

Hi Josie! Hope you are feeling much better now.

nickelbabe · 01/03/2011 16:52

it really did, Bam Grin

BamBam21 · 01/03/2011 16:59

GrinOh I'm feeling quite mushy myself now! That's lovely!Smile

How are you feeling now dee?

deemented · 01/03/2011 17:09

Hmm... i'm ok. Amwondering if it was just an evap line. But if it was that means theres been five evap lines in exactly the same place - what are the chances of that? Just worried as the line is very very feint.

Am using £ shop cheapies. Am trying to talk myself into getting a 'proper' more expensieve one.

WDYT?

nickelbabe · 01/03/2011 17:10

how long did you leave the test before you got the line?

i think if it's after 10 minutes, you have to discard it.

nickelbabe · 01/03/2011 17:11
St Davids

wow! i only noticed that cos i went further up te thread! Shock

pweety.

(MN are going too far with smileys now..... [stern] )

BamBam21 · 01/03/2011 17:16

You can never have enough smileys nickel! Grin

It would be a bit of a coincidence to get 5 evap lines like that dee. Maybe you should splurge on a fancy digital one for peace of mind.

BamBam21 · 01/03/2011 17:21

SorryBlush! I'm getting carried away with the excitement and cheerleading again! Grin

deemented · 01/03/2011 17:24

It said on test to read in five mins, and to discard after ten. Read it in five and feintest of feint lines. Still checking it them now and lines still there....

BamBam21 · 01/03/2011 17:32

I think that sounds promising dee, but it's so frustrating when the lines are faint. If I were you I'd get a "proper" test and try again in the morning. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for you dee.

LizzyMathsWhizzy · 01/03/2011 18:28

ooh, dee sending BFP vibes your way! x

kateepie2 · 01/03/2011 21:21

Dee that's exactly what I had - I wouldn't go straight for a digital test though as I don't think they are very sensitive so you may well get a false neg. It took a good six days for me to get a strong line, so if you can stand the wait, try again day after tomorrow. My first was so faint you really need the eye of faith Grin good luck xx
