Jump on if you are a TTCer hoping that this cycle is 'the one' and will result in a sprog or sprogette due in November.

Welcoming season ticket holders and new passengers.

Hi ladies, internet cheapies arrived and despite best efforts I just couldn't wait...and guess what...BFN but as only 10dpo I guess I expected that. Also not FMU but I could just be making excuses up!

Still disappointed though as got a BFP with DS at 10 dpo with a FR so was hoping for the same this time - still only a month since I stopped taking the pill so I know I am expecting a lot for it to happen so quickly again second time around - we were very lucky last time that DS turned up so quickly.

Ho hum. At least I now have a bag full of tiny strips of paper to play with over the next few days before I bring out the posh ones at the weekend Smile

ghosteditor · 08/03/2011 17:01

Hi ladies, hmm, BFNs all over the place by the look of things! Still quite early for those of us left on the bus, though, right?

If I haven't said it already then huge congrats to busyboysmum Grin .

I am on cycle day... um... 18 today and due to DH's travels was only able to have SWI from day 14 onwards. However, I'm having some quite odd stomach pains today which some part of my brain (not the rational part obviously!) is convinced must be implantation pains. Seriously [shakes head] I need to get my head checked!

Luckily this should be quite a busy week so it should go quickly!

WaitingforStork · 08/03/2011 17:18

Hello ladies, and thank you to everyone who wished me the best for our wedding. The day was perfect, couldn't have gone better and the honeymoon was the distraction I needed from POAS.

Anyway was gotten by AF on Saturday (less than an hour after peeing on First Response, that's just mean!). Only our first month of trying and my first month off the pill so at least I now know my cycle length again, back to 28 days first cycle, small blessing I suppose.

So good luck to all those left on this bus, I'm away to book a ticket on the Christmas baby bus!

x

Still BFN for me this morning (11dpo) Sad

Early days I know but still can't help feeling low. This is the problem with testing early I guess, so much more opportunity to be disappointed.

Hope there is some more positive news out there for all of the other ladies left on the bus Smile

bornofdust · 09/03/2011 10:00

No BFPs here yet. Like Poppyjen, I'm 11dpo, but on the last day of my supposedly short cycle. However, I would like to present a case for some possible 'signals' (because there's nothing like clutching at straws when reality and sanity are trying to drag you down).

  1. No sign of AF yet and I normally come on quite gradually. Nothing going on down there so far, it's like tumbleweed through a desserted western outpost. TMI sorry!
  2. Lower back pain last night and this morning. Unusual for me, but could be attributable to a pilates class.
  3. Coffee and cereal tasted tart to me this morning. Again, not normal for me, but the milk could be turning.
  4. Lastly, there was a faint pink line on the Internet cheapie. However, it may have been over 10 minutes and they do tell you on the packet to ignore the results at that time.

Better go, the men in white coats will be here shortly...

HopeCalvary · 09/03/2011 10:42

Due af today. Did a poundshop cheapie, bfn. My friend who is 10 weeks may pop in later with a more expensive one so I saved my wee from this morning aha!

Getting period like pains, really worried af is going to arrive after being so sure last night that I had that 'weird' feeling.

You can see by the chart that even at 5 weeks you could still only have as low as 18miu and the best pregnancy tests will only pick up as low as 20. This is why sometimes we just keep getting negatives! And sometimes we are just not pregnant :(

bornofdust · 09/03/2011 11:26

That's really interesting. Thanks HopeCalvary!

TheCake · 09/03/2011 12:01

bornofdust I'm really hopeful for you! Well I managed to dtd last night on what my iPhone app says should have been my fertile day and also on sat and sun. Hopeful that I could at least be in with a chance this month... If not I may go down the ov stick route although I really cannot be bothered with that, see how I feel I suppose!

hopeful1 · 09/03/2011 12:48

Hi everyone,

I am new to this thread. I had IUI with clomid 8 days okay and have decided to do an early pregnancy test on Friday (day 10) as I cant bear the wait any longer, how can 2 weeks go so slow!!!!!!!!!

I fell pregnant first time with my daughter 2 years ago but now having period pain and no signs so dont feel very hopeful at all.

Fingers crossed for all of you that are yet to test.

hey lovely ladies i will have my FX for all you left who may still be on the bus but i think its my turn to hop off, after 7 BFNs over the last week ( CB digi today and just popping to the loo TMI) i beleive AF has just got me...

I will still lurk so FX for you all

off for a huge Wine or 2 !!

louboutinslover · 09/03/2011 13:50

Hi lovely ladies,

been lurking on here so have now decided join to hopefully calm my insanity when TTC number 3.
Am on cycle one and have only just come off pill so chances are very small. However, been tracking some stuff and just feel so preggers is ridiculous! Also have been having brown CM since Saturday but only when looking for it (TMI sorry).
I have a feeling this must be due to coming off the pill after 5 months but my mind is of course trying desperately to persuade me otherwise!
Internet cheapies arrived today so will no doubt be happily POAS regularly now til AF due date on 15th..
Sorry for big rant but just thought I would introduce myself by sharing all my madness with you guys. blush

HopeCalvary · 09/03/2011 16:11

Enjoy that drink MumTumWanted! After all this waiting, it's well deserved! Have one for me too!

All the best louboutinslover and hopeful1! My af due today, still no show. A friend is bringing me round a digi test soon :)

bornofdust · 09/03/2011 17:21

The optimism was shortlived. She got me this afternoon! Sad

Ah well, tomorrow is another day and all that. Will check in and keep my FX for everyone else.

Poppyjen · 09/03/2011 19:12

oh born I am so sorry to hear that. Wishing you all the best for your next attempt Smile will you be on the Christmas bus?

HopeCalvary · 09/03/2011 19:44

Sorry to hear that born :( all the best for the future!

I had wee'd in a glass this morning and got a negative from a poundshop test. My friend come around at 4pm with a tesco digital. I was going to try dipping in the glass of wee, but read online that you can only do that if you've kept your wee covered and in the fridge! You then have to bring it to room temp!

So oh well, I shall wait until tomorrow.

No af as yet.

dpo 14

Feeling tired, hungry and craving sweet stuff. Thirsty, and like I've been punched in the stomach. Boobs not particularly sore but they have got bigger just like when I get af. Strange cramping mid way up my back, sort of at the back and to the sides, a bit like achey stabbing stiches. No period cramping at the mo, but feel very bloated.

HopeCalvary · 09/03/2011 20:07

Lower back cramps now, but not like period pain, it's a bit different. Ladies, I'm really getting my hopes up now. It's like the first time. I had no ideas about being pregnant, I thought I'd messed up my body with work and drinking so much, I felt really weird and the cramping felt like different organs not just the ones from period.

Later a friend that worked at the hospital said you can get kidney pains because they are working harder sending blood around and filtering stuff for your growing baby. That's probably not at all what they said, but that's what I remember in my non-medical brain! Will let you know in the morning with my Tesco digital. Anyone used these?

bornofdust · 09/03/2011 21:58

Thanks everyone. I'll be lurking for a little while out of curiosity, I've said it before but statistically there must be more bfps due on this bus! For anyone early on in their cycle, stop reading this and go and seduce your OHs! Lie back (or not) and think of the November bus! Grin

Poppyjen, yes I'll probably be on the December bus.
The cake, I know what you mean about ov sticks. I'm going to start temp charting tomorrow as a halfway house. If that doesn't do it, then I may look at fertility friend, but it looks suspiciously like hard work and I'm not sure I'm in that place yet. I want to keep this as close to fun as possible for a little while longer.

lalabaloo · 09/03/2011 22:49

AF got me too :( Don't think I will hop over to the December bus, DH and I have agreed to try not to stress much this month and see if it happens. I'm really teary today though, I hate AF! See you all (or hopefully not, in the nicest possible way!) on the January bus!

queenrollo · 09/03/2011 23:22

9dpo here, not feeling any symptoms at all. but then after the absence of my usual pre AF signs last month i don't know what to expect at all now Hmm

wedding went well and had a lovely honeymoon. Fingers crossed for a honeymoon baby, but trying not to get my hopes up too much.

sorry to see AF got so many of you

ghosteditor · 10/03/2011 09:26

oh, no, AF has arrived for even more people while I've been away, sorry ladies.

Only about 6dpo here and I've been having consistent and occasionally sharp dragging sort of feelings in the lower right quadrant of my belly. Could just be tight hip flexors or something though! I've never been pg so have no idea what it will feel like for me.

And I'm v tired at the mo too. I get quite bad headaches so I've been taking ibuprofen, but I know I'll have to kick the habit when I eventually find myself pg. Has anyone read anything which indicates negative effects whilst TTC? It's just bad when actually pg, right?

queenrollo fx for a honeymoon baby for you! It was while trekking in NZ on our honeymoon that DH and I decided to start trying around this time. Ah, the memories Grin

HopeCalvary · 10/03/2011 09:32

Did a tesco digital this morning. Not pregnant. Still no af due yesterday. May wait til sunday to try again if af no show.

louboutinslover · 10/03/2011 09:49

rubbish to see that so many AFs arriving! The witch has a habit of dragging us all down. I am reallyjust waiting for mine to be honest now. Think my body is just trying to get back on track/playing tricks after being on the pill. Kinda wish it was the 15th and af came so we could start a fresh...trying to look on the bright side as much as possible.
Hope you all have a good day despite the blustery weather. (smile)
